I love the show, and I fell in love with this portayel of Lara. The show had me in awe. The storytelling is beautifully done and the visuals only add to the experience. Supposedly, Netflix hired Ufotable Studio to create cool action and cinematic animations. Ufotable is also capable of designing Lara Croft to look feminine and strong with unique outfit designs

First of all, I love Hayley Atwell. She's an amazing actress. But hearing all the game voices of other characters EXCEPT Lara's is painful. I cant help but feel Im just watching a cutscene so I find myself cringing sometimes because I keep forgetting it's a show and not a game. Hayley did an amazing job in this, but as someone who absolutely loved the reboot trilogy, it would be so much more heartwarming if Camilla voiced in the show 😢 Ps. Those Sam talks Lara had with Jonah? I bet it wouldve hit soooo hard to hear her 2013 game "Saaaam?" again haha

I love the show, and I fell in love with this portayel of Lara. The show had me in awe. The storytelling is beautifully done and the visuals only add to the experience. I want all the ragers and sweaty gamers to just set aside their stupid teen boy brain and see her for who Lara really is. A human with feelings who is very capable of doing the most outrageous stunts and experience loss and emotion like everyone else. Except psychopaths. I hope no one cheers or aligns with those. They should just wake up from their delusions. The world would be a better place

M already gunning for a season 2. Lara croft has always been a n8ce female lead adventure action thriller for me. Enjoyed the movies n now the series. Strange to see so many negative comments about the series as its entertaining. Little bluff or creative liberty here n there is expected as long as its entertaining n not done overtly

Supposedly, Netflix hired Ufotable Studio to create cool action and cinematic animations. Ufotable is also capable of designing Lara Croft to look feminine and strong with unique outfit designs

"Why is everything so dramatic with you" is NOT a statement I'd ever expect to be made about Lara Croft. Lara was stoic, intelligent, and observant. I hate adding drama to women characters just to pad them because then it feeds into the "drama mama" archetype. It's ok for some female characters to be drama-free. They're characters, they don't have to represent real life.

First of all, I love Hayley Atwell. She's an amazing actress. But hearing all the game voices of other characters EXCEPT Lara's is painful. I cant help but feel Im just watching a cutscene so I find myself cringing sometimes because I keep forgetting it's a show and not a game.
Hayley did an amazing job in this, but as someone who absolutely loved the reboot trilogy, it would be so much more heartwarming if Camilla voiced in the show 😢
