    My T12 was doing the exact same thing for the first 4 months after install. Took it back to the installer 4 different times & finally they were able to fix it via the latest firmware update. Never had an issue after that; over 2 years.

    So what was the fix? You said it’s been fixed in the video and in comments but haven’t given any sort of indication of what it took to fix it.

  • @JamesGrapes
    @JamesGrapes 11 месяцев назад +4

    I’m a professional installer and every problem you’re talking about comes down to the way it’s installed. This new das sensor isn’t like a normal sensor and it needs to be mounted properly and adjusted properly.

  • @jwolveee
    @jwolveee Год назад +7

    Sounds like a possible mapping problem via the app. If widespread - try turning the sensitivity ALL THE WAY UP via the app. If this fixes the problem, then the app sensitivity control is reversed (low is high/high is low) - and the app developer can simply remap the code.

      But I have a manual/analog shock sensor, so should i do the same on it?. Im gonna disconnect it first, if it works good without it Im just gonna buy one like yours its about $40 bucks and reverse set it. Like you have a tilt sensor or das-II right?

      Yes. Set the sensitivity low on BOTH the shock sensor and in the app. once you do that it should be good to use the app as well if you want because the last few app updates have fixed the issue apparently

    You called it Compustar PRO T13 issue. The problem is with your Compustar Drone alarm. The Pro T-13, it just an add-on accessory, that can work together with the Compustar alarm.

  • @curtthompson7279
    @curtthompson7279 Год назад +1

    If you are troubleshooting it, why not disconnect the horn so you don't wake your neighbors in the middle of the night? That way, when your FOB indicates an alarm condition only you have to get out of bed.

  • @nscurge
    @nscurge Год назад +1

    This alarm has been a pain in my azz for the last 2 weeks since I’ve had it installed. I have this alarm installed on a C7 Z06 and it goes off like every 10 minutes. Mostly I get the “Tilt” or “Shock 1, 3” warning. It was ok for the first few days now I want it off!

      One thing you can do is take out your horn relay so as no to wake up the neighbors. Or disconnect the aftermarket siren. I still get false triggers but they’ve reduced by 90% since the latest app updates and also adjusting the shock sensors

  • @VikingsFan27
    @VikingsFan27 Год назад

    Do you know for 100% certainty that it was only with the app? Or could it have just been a coincidence that it went off when you set it with the app? I wonder if something in the coding within the app lowers the sensitivity level when done through the app. Did you ever get it figured out.

    • @AlexsRTLife

  • @JamesJohnson-dm5ut
    @JamesJohnson-dm5ut Год назад +3

    The T13 is just remotes and Drone. Their is a control module(brain), that everything plugs into. This could be a CMX or other controller. Your problem is not understanding that the sensor settings on the app are for the DASII in the Drone, not the DASII that is plugged directly into the brain. The DASII that is plugged in the brain is adjusted directly on the sensor, not the app. The DASII can also be set to only trigger with sound and impact simultaneously. Need to read the manual. Your problem is user and installation error, not the product. Look at the link below for setting the DAS-II that is plugged in the brain. ruclips.net/video/eA4uMurGQkc/видео.html

      Exactly what I was thinking

    • @vb7200
      @vb7200 11 месяцев назад

      Many newer cars also require an bladeal or ALCA to bypass module which acutally does a lot of other things. It basically grabs all the status info from the car's can lines and gives that info to the remote start brain which is how you can see some things in the app. You don't even need to add a full on alarm system to get alerts, if your car has a factory alarm it can tell you it's going off. You're 100% correct about the Drone, the X1 Max has those shock sensors so doing it through the app would be adjusting those, the DAS has a wheel I believe to change sensitivity, those are super touchy.

      @@AlexsRTLife so I figured this out another way, if you’re interested im sure this option is available for anybody . I bought a ezgo2 its a one way their newest remote, but it has proximity unlock and lock. For me its actually more important then remote start on t13. I still remote start from the drone app and if you want you can have this tiny remote added to any main remote you want to carry. There’s an option to have them both functioning. It come with a different antenna which will work parallel or as a main one. It has some lights on corresponding to lock unlock. And im not dealing with the goddamn night blasters anymore. I hope this info will be of help.

  • @armyastro
    @armyastro Год назад

    You make absolutely zero sense. The pro t13 is not an alarm system, its a remote kit you add to the main compustar unit. Its the das2 module you have setup wrong or you have a drone x1 max module too and the the sensors are active and causing a conflict. Nvm, you just said you adjusted them on the app so you have the x1 max sensors on, they need to be turned off
