My T12 was doing the exact same thing for the first 4 months after install. Took it back to the installer 4 different times & finally they were able to fix it via the latest firmware update. Never had an issue after that; over 2 years.
I’m a professional installer and every problem you’re talking about comes down to the way it’s installed. This new das sensor isn’t like a normal sensor and it needs to be mounted properly and adjusted properly.
Sounds like a possible mapping problem via the app. If widespread - try turning the sensitivity ALL THE WAY UP via the app. If this fixes the problem, then the app sensitivity control is reversed (low is high/high is low) - and the app developer can simply remap the code.
But I have a manual/analog shock sensor, so should i do the same on it?. Im gonna disconnect it first, if it works good without it Im just gonna buy one like yours its about $40 bucks and reverse set it. Like you have a tilt sensor or das-II right?
Thanks for the video, nice to know because I’m in the process of choosing an Alarm now for my SUV. Between Compustar and Viper. Good information you gave in the video !
I'm having the same issue with my T13 Pro. It would set off for no particular reason. And just like you, it would go off at the worse times of the day. In this case, at night when no one's there.
My false alarms were from the 4 in 1 shock/glass/tow/....... it was the glass setting....the "vibrate" settings was ON and it would false ALL THE TIME....I shout off the vibrate and only had "SOUND" on....fixed my problem
Yes. Set the sensitivity low on BOTH the shock sensor and in the app. once you do that it should be good to use the app as well if you want because the last few app updates have fixed the issue apparently
So I'm not clear, can you now set the alarm via the app and not get the false positives? I'm trying to look at a system for my car but it's like everything has a ton of caveats.
You called it Compustar PRO T13 issue. The problem is with your Compustar Drone alarm. The Pro T-13, it just an add-on accessory, that can work together with the Compustar alarm.
If you are troubleshooting it, why not disconnect the horn so you don't wake your neighbors in the middle of the night? That way, when your FOB indicates an alarm condition only you have to get out of bed.
This alarm has been a pain in my azz for the last 2 weeks since I’ve had it installed. I have this alarm installed on a C7 Z06 and it goes off like every 10 minutes. Mostly I get the “Tilt” or “Shock 1, 3” warning. It was ok for the first few days now I want it off!
I’ve been there. After goin back to my installer a few times I learned how to program and adjust the sensors myself. But I guarantee your installer will tell you not to mess with it. Ever since I adjusted mine I haven’t had any problems for a few months now
One thing you can do is take out your horn relay so as no to wake up the neighbors. Or disconnect the aftermarket siren. I still get false triggers but they’ve reduced by 90% since the latest app updates and also adjusting the shock sensors
Do you know for 100% certainty that it was only with the app? Or could it have just been a coincidence that it went off when you set it with the app? I wonder if something in the coding within the app lowers the sensitivity level when done through the app. Did you ever get it figured out.
U could just tell them to install a new das II module it retails at 40$ what’s so hard about it plus the remote t13 is not even the problem it’s the module
Cant even watch these videos anymore. Everyone asking the same question and dude won't answer. just says wait for the next vid. Just tryna get views and not help
If you have the drone mobile with it, the last couple firmware updates fixed the issue. Also you can have the shock sensor module adjust to a lower sensitivity (you might have the DAS1 unit)
The T13 is just remotes and Drone. Their is a control module(brain), that everything plugs into. This could be a CMX or other controller. Your problem is not understanding that the sensor settings on the app are for the DASII in the Drone, not the DASII that is plugged directly into the brain. The DASII that is plugged in the brain is adjusted directly on the sensor, not the app. The DASII can also be set to only trigger with sound and impact simultaneously. Need to read the manual. Your problem is user and installation error, not the product. Look at the link below for setting the DAS-II that is plugged in the brain. ruclips.net/video/eA4uMurGQkc/видео.html
Many newer cars also require an bladeal or ALCA to bypass module which acutally does a lot of other things. It basically grabs all the status info from the car's can lines and gives that info to the remote start brain which is how you can see some things in the app. You don't even need to add a full on alarm system to get alerts, if your car has a factory alarm it can tell you it's going off. You're 100% correct about the Drone, the X1 Max has those shock sensors so doing it through the app would be adjusting those, the DAS has a wheel I believe to change sensitivity, those are super touchy.
@@AlexsRTLife so I figured this out another way, if you’re interested im sure this option is available for anybody . I bought a ezgo2 its a one way their newest remote, but it has proximity unlock and lock. For me its actually more important then remote start on t13. I still remote start from the drone app and if you want you can have this tiny remote added to any main remote you want to carry. There’s an option to have them both functioning. It come with a different antenna which will work parallel or as a main one. It has some lights on corresponding to lock unlock. And im not dealing with the goddamn night blasters anymore. I hope this info will be of help.
You make absolutely zero sense. The pro t13 is not an alarm system, its a remote kit you add to the main compustar unit. Its the das2 module you have setup wrong or you have a drone x1 max module too and the the sensors are active and causing a conflict. Nvm, you just said you adjusted them on the app so you have the x1 max sensors on, they need to be turned off
Hey Alex ! Love your videos. I may be getting a Durango RT here in a week or so. Are you still happy with your car ? Do you have an instagram associated to this page?
My T12 was doing the exact same thing for the first 4 months after install. Took it back to the installer 4 different times & finally they were able to fix it via the latest firmware update. Never had an issue after that; over 2 years.
So what was the fix? You said it’s been fixed in the video and in comments but haven’t given any sort of indication of what it took to fix it.
I’m a professional installer and every problem you’re talking about comes down to the way it’s installed. This new das sensor isn’t like a normal sensor and it needs to be mounted properly and adjusted properly.

Damn that’s a sick ride!
Hey did you manage to fix it?
Just got the same alarm and it’s doing the same as yours, going off all nite, car won’t start, fob won’t start it, app won’t, or key !
I'm having the same issue with my T13 Pro. It would set off for no particular reason. And just like you, it would go off at the worse times of the day. In this case, at night when no one's there.

Yup. That’s one way to resolve sounding off aloud. But I finally haven’t had and false alarms whatsoever in many months Thankfully
I'm having the same issue, the glass break sensor would go off for now reason, even when set to low on my Drone app.
Yes glass break goes off once or twice a week. What’s the fix?
So set the sensitivity low and use the fob or door press lock? No app?
Yes. Set the sensitivity low on BOTH the shock sensor and in the app. once you do that it should be good to use the app as well if you want because the last few app updates have fixed the issue apparently
I’m thinking about getting this system what other things do you recommend getting with it? I was thinking about pairing with a pin system maybe IGLA
I paired it with the igla and best thing u can doo i promise!
What's the igla? I'm getting a compustar for my old elantra.
GREAT LOOKIN VEHICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice video bro I have 2week with this alarm
How do you adjust the shock sensors in the app can you make a video please 🙏 thanks
I was having the same issue and I ripped it all out and installed viper
Thanks for the video. What's the latest update on the Compustar alarm? False alarms fixed for good?
Video coming soon on this, you dont want to miss it
I have a compustar system with drone installed on my Raptor now I don’t have the T-13 remote but I have exact same issues that you’re having.
So I'm not clear, can you now set the alarm via the app and not get the false positives? I'm trying to look at a system for my car but it's like everything has a ton of caveats.
Yes I can set it with the app without any false alarms now that it’s finally taken care of.
@@AlexsRTLife what was the fix for being able to use the app without the false alarms?
Just got alarm a week ago and just today a false glass break alert. I don't use the app to alarm the vehicle.

Definately not only with the app. The sensor module itself needed to be adjusted. A video explains everything will be coming soon
What CM control module did you use for the install?
Which is better the PRO T13 or the Q9
Prot13
U could just tell them to install a new das II module it retails at 40$ what’s so hard about it plus the remote t13 is not even the problem it’s the module

I will be in my office or driving down the road, my lights flash on and off like I just set the alarm. it kind of freaks me out
Having A “Discharging” Alarm When I Remote Start
Will you still recommend this system ?
Definately! The app had a few bugs but the last couple updates fixed them
I've had compustar in a past vehicle never had a problem
If that suv have factory alarm, why you want install another alarm?
factory alarms are very basic, believe it or not they wont sound off when someone breaks your windows.
Factory alarm is nearly useless from Dodge. Need aftermarket if you want to keep your vehicle from being stolen.
