@rystalmelody5052 yes, I'm sure their MMR is high, but I don't think they come close to Momo's Blight win streak, which was 1947. I think he's lost once since it ended, so I'm assuming he would be the best bet to determine what the max MMR is, if there is any at all.

Now it's no longer possible to see mmr through even cheats cuz devs fixed it around 6 month ago before first 2v8
@TravisStockton doesn't matter what your belief here is, if the results of what Choy has done are accurate and the numbers represent the MMRs of the respected killers, then Momo's Blight would have the highest measurable MMR being that he went on the highest win streak of all time (no escapes/no gates opened).
I’m curious if the MMR hard cap value equivalent in this user data is actually lower than potential peak MMR values. It is definitely possible that the MMR values shown in this list go beyond the hard cap used in-game, but they just don’t affect matchmaking beyond a certain point, such as a value of 4.
This seems extemely likely, it wouldnt want someone to suddenly drop in mmr due to a small batch of 'bad' matches. Would that not also make the final conversion request completely wrong for everyone else? There could well be a lot of people who have been assuming that they are on the highest mmr and probably are, but this conversion at the end will show them as having much much lower mmr due to the simple direct relationship conversion question asked of chatgbt.

They can actually deny you in the US, however, they are forced to provide the information due to EU's GRPD is you are in a country where GDPR applies. This is why they ask you for your location. Also, the GDPR requests go to a different team apparently. It goes to the BHVR Digital Team instead of the Dead by Daylight team.
Oh so this is just like what happened with call of duty. I guees this works with any company as long as they do business in EU they need to be able to give you your data. People should start trying this on more games
imagine just being able to look at the top right corner to see your visible player rank when you can just take an entire out-of-application multi-week side-quest to bother and entire team to give you a pile of hieroglyphics to decrypt.
Rank does not equal MMR. Current "ranking system" is literally only useful to get bloodpoints now, your MMR number is completely hidden. You can't see your actual MMR in-game, BHVR had decided to add MMR but hide the numbers from the players because they're scared people will flex on each other or something, like breeding toxicity but it's literally a non-issue. Going on killer streaks, or survivor escape streaks should impact your MMR and doing what Choy said to do, you're actually able to see what kind of impact these challenges have on your actual MMR, not just a little number that goes up and can't decline at all, which is what the current "ranking system" does. Your argument shows you don't have a clue on how MMR works in DbD, and that's an issue on the devs part, you think the little rank number does something to effect your games, when it literally doesn't do anything but give you bloodpoints when rank reset comes. We need more transparency so that people don't believe in a false narrative that the "ranking system" does jack. I don't understand why they hide it on the end game screen, whether it did something or not, there's no reason to hide numbers from other players. They've made a lot of questionable choices.
@@michaelnichols9557 back before the MMR implementation, the monthly rank icon was what determined your matchmaking. In theory. I hope Behavior reworks the point system and what the game defines as skill. atm, skill is determined by kills. you can down survivors 50 times in trial but gain no MMR if you dont actually kill them. Also, if survivors or killer wins TO FAST, the winning side gets hardly any points. The game should recognize if a Huntress downed a survivor a map away and get extra points for the skill required to make that play. All the game does today is recognize that i got no chase points T_T

@rystalmelody5052 yes, I'm sure their MMR is high, but I don't think they come close to Momo's Blight win streak, which was 1947. I think he's lost once since it ended, so I'm assuming he would be the best bet to determine what the max MMR is, if there is any at all.
@@tupper5290 You don't need to win that much if you win like 40-50 games in a row as a certain killer you are already in 2100 mmr, I tested it myself when mmr was visible through traffic capturing tool like fiddler (egs and msstore platforms only). Now it's no longer possible to see mmr through even cheats cuz devs fixed it around 6 month ago before first 2v8
streamers and youtubers and comp kids are not max mmr. cant wait to see the report cards.
@TravisStockton doesn't matter what your belief here is, if the results of what Choy has done are accurate and the numbers represent the MMRs of the respected killers, then Momo's Blight would have the highest measurable MMR being that he went on the highest win streak of all time (no escapes/no gates opened).
I'll contribute to the spam. It's about time they just reveal the damn mmr
No, then it would be even more unbearable and the egos OMG no plz no 😂
@@Ozz3605 exactly this!
They need to better hide it so people dont get competitive.
@@Aci_ytin what way would it make dbd worse? If it only shows at the end of the game how would it affect gameplay?
They Literally Said Nah
I’m curious if the MMR hard cap value equivalent in this user data is actually lower than potential peak MMR values. It is definitely possible that the MMR values shown in this list go beyond the hard cap used in-game, but they just don’t affect matchmaking beyond a certain point, such as a value of 4.
Very possible
This seems extemely likely, it wouldnt want someone to suddenly drop in mmr due to a small batch of 'bad' matches. Would that not also make the final conversion request completely wrong for everyone else? There could well be a lot of people who have been assuming that they are on the highest mmr and probably are, but this conversion at the end will show them as having much much lower mmr due to the simple direct relationship conversion question asked of chatgbt.
I requested all my data over the history of ever and also requested specific stats like killer power hits. Will report back with my findings
Edit: not an update on the first section i still haven't gotten the stats but im pretty sure choy's highest mmr of 6.6 translates to 1980 if my hypothesis is correct. My theory is that 7 is the mmr cap and since we thought for so long 2100 is the mmr cap and 21÷3=7 i multiplied his mmr of 6.6 by 3 and got 19.8 which i multuplied by 1000. Also, choy if you're reading this, your knight MMR is 1710
Results must be interesting

Something new?
@@Мистер_Министр they finally got back to me but unfortunately I think I got the incorrect date on when I linked my account so I don't think they're sending my info
I think they found out that 3000 is the MMR cap not 2100?
I remember in an online fan game, someone made a "template ban appeal", everyone copy-pasted it, and the mods got really annoyed. Bhvr support's gonna get the same feeling :')
That makes sense. HR for handling PR & legal obligations
EU for the Win ~ not everything is so bad here
"Whew" - everyone that got laid off
I don't care enough about DbD to do this process, but I still watch a lot of DbD content on RUclips
In theory. In reality, the system hardly worked and you'd frequently see rank 1 survivor 4-mans against a rank 20 baby. But still, you had visibility of what your theoretical MMR should have been back then.
@@AlsoMeowskivich I know, I miss the old matchmaking :(
@@michaelnichols9557 it's still like the one thing I think is universally agreed upon

I love how Choy forces BHVR to make changes to the game, and always in a good way
except the "stats" BHVR provided are next to useless. They are literally worthless
this video must go viral.
They asked me a new question: "If so, do you remember what your most recent purchase was"
I just had a good laugh because not a moment after I finished watching this do I notice that I got the BHVR e-mail about my 2024 stats, which turned out to be incomplete/inaccurate to begin with since they only tally matches played on the main game mode.
OOOOOOH that would explain a lot about my stats, wasn’t thinking about only main game mode. I was like wtf no way is that my main killer and no way in hell my hours are that low. I still don’t even believe the time played for normal though because the average worked out to under 5 minutes per match which I wouldn’t believe for survivor much less killer that I play 2/3.
@@pukeskylark The only thing I'd add on to that now that I'm seeing other people talk about their stats is that it may very well have taken from previous years instead of 2024 as well. Even now that I'm looking at mine again, I don't really have a killer I'm tied to but I can't bring myself to believe I was actually maining Trickster this year, lol
nice cant wait to try this "Choy Tech"

I did note that your data file is prefixed with GDPR. That makes me wonder if, as an American player, they will deny me the ability to get my data because they don't have the threat of the entire EU behind me. I still requested it, but I'll update this post if it ends up being an issue.
Say ure from California
Tho if u lie u might get banned
Depends on if they check ur IP or whatever
Better safe than sorry
Now dbd content creators can finally flex and justify their gameplay videos with actual proof instead of just always claiming its top tier MMR or 10k hours god squad etc , this would also help prevent deranking off streams just to farm to youtube clips
I'm telling you. So many creators (Even some big ones) do this shit.

The codenames for killers are kinda cute. Trapper is Chuckles and Wraith is Bob.
Gonna get to this first thing tomorrow morning.
I saw it happen to cod and knew it was a matter of time before someone did it 🔥
After a 2 year break I hopped on to give it a whirl. There was a bonus for playing survivor and did that. Was fun for a bit but ended up being really boring. Same/similar tactics are used on both sides. The fun was just in mind games either at loops or faking out the killer where you were (diversion for example lol).
I definitely won't be playing this like I used to but I can see myself playing once or twice a year with all the new updates.
6:28 you can also just use any modern browser to view it and its going to look the same if not better

Thanks Choy
Do you have any idea what you've done? This happened a while back with overwatch, and if this comes at all close as to what happened then. Have mercy on bhvr's support staff.
they have one option sacrifice support staff or implement visible mmr into the game
Now this would be added to the game in about the next 30 days I can see how many people going to across this information
Jokes on you, they perma banned my account from forums for having the audacity to use sarcasm on their forums.
If it was on the steam forms for dead by daylight, you can get steam to reverse that. They tried banning my account from the Steam forums of dead by daylight simply because I had criticism and then I showed steam support and they immediately removed the ban

This is due to the EUs privacy protection laws. Outside of the EU your results may vary.
Chatgpt can do that with a free account, you dont need pro.
Seeing 21 is dividable by 7 that would make more sense. Mmr goes up very fast. Aryun did a brand new account trying escape every game. Vsed a p100 killer in under 10 matches.
the best thing about this is that if enough people do it bhvr will probably just make mmr visible again so people stop requesting their data

That's really creative lol! Also: tomato soup.
Its not just MMR stats they should give us. They should give us stats like which killers we play the most, which ones we are most successful, average time of our matches, etc. There are so many stats they could give us to help us out.
Honestly I'm hoping bhvr comes through when they said they'd send your stats after linking stuff recently

I just received my data from Behavior (the one you mentioned at the end of the video) and it's lackluster to say the least, especially compared to what you've shown us in this video.
Okay so I just got the questions email and there is a new question in there:
"If so, do you remember what your most recent purchase was?"
Just so folks don't get blindsided by it.
They just replied to me and I have that same question too
I had a feeling I had only ever experienced 3 MMR brackets, it's interesting that they have a tier below where a new player starts, but I guess it makes sense. I know for a fact that I am in the top tier for at lest survivor, I play against tourny comp killers very often.
Choy, I'm pretty sure this request will only work for jurisdictions that have data privacy laws like the eu (that's why yours is titled GDPR because you're based in Germany). Importantly, I think the U.S. doesn't have any comprehensive wants (like GDPR) at the Federal level so the efficacy of this request may vary by state.

OMG CHOY BECAREFULL WE CAN LITERALLY SEE YOUR PLAYER ID IN THE VIDEO (not gonna tell where but it’s fully visible)
Plotwist: Choys mmr numbers are already in the correct format💀
I think you are right, which will mean a LOT of people are just about to be seriously disappointed with theit 'mmr' due to basing it on his as being the 'highest'. If his is correct 'as is' then someone who has just hit the cap could come out with as little as an mmr of 700 ish!
As this will invalidate his method, it could mean that bhvr will not be forced to implement mmr inside the game as Choys mathematics on the final chatgbt request are pure guesswork, and also this is an English youtube and therefore most requests will be from the US where they do not have to give the data at all.
Choy luring out BHVR HQ for MMR stats
Wish the game would work as intented MMR with killers.
Feels so dull playing sweat teams as weak killers.
Curious if this huge influx of requests will cause them to add an in-game way of doing this.

I know they are wild but pretty much anybody that has done kill streaks like Momo the 7th. Looking at his blight MMR is probably helpful in this situation
Where should we be posting our MMR when we get it in case you need to adjust the calculation?
strange question, but in that data is there a count of how many times you've played as/faced/escaped/won against each killer?
We gotta make sure everyone sees this
It'll probably be easier for behavior to just let people see their mmr rather than give themselves 100s of hours of support work
Or i could simply GG go next myself into oblivion for a whole week and then release my juke montage with my new well adjusted MMR
I'm fine with MMR being hard to find. I feel like if true MMR was a stat like everything else it would make people feel more competitive. DBD is not a game designed to play competitively. Competitive play IMO is not fun. That's why if I feel like I'm playing against too many blights and nurses in a given day I'll play without perks or just play dumb meme builds to hopefully lower my MMR and bring me back into a range where I'm actually playing against a variety of killers
Sadly, and I mean this unironically, the hardest part for me rn is booting up the game.
Bruh Choy the hero! Well every other game with something like mmr/ranks what ever.. show your ratings/rank in realtime... its about time bhvr!! And don't F it uP imao
If 10 represent 3000 current hard cap, your highest mmr would be around 1800.
I say, flood their support tickets
ngl i still feel bad for the bhvr employees who are gonna be doing this for probably the next month. cause its not like the underpaid support team laid off all those workers 😭
The stats that bhvr revealed are one big joke. Most played killer/ surv, times you hooked someone/being hooked, hours played, amount of escapes and games in total (from last year only) WOW thx BHVR i can check it in tracker whenever I want ❤️
