Great video thanks. I am thinking about working at Amazon. I have a few questions. How do you get a hold of your manager while you are working at your post on the floor? Is it easy to find someone if you have a question? Are you allowed to have water/food on the floor with you? If so, is there a close by spot to refill your water bottle? Are there many bathrooms throughout the warehouse that are close to the post you are at (less than a five minute walk so it won't register as TOT or are the restrooms a long walk to get to )? My final question is if there is a bad snow storm or ice storm coming how is Amazon with you calling out if the roads are bad?

Love, thank you for sharing, tomorrow is my orientation day for Amazon. I have to tell you that you have on 1 hand scared me but on the other hand at 60 years old I'm sure I can do it tell me, are you always pushing and pulling? Or do you ever grab your items out of the pods and put them in the bins? I would also like to know when you said sore and your entire body is sore is it your back legs and feet and arms and mind LOL I guess that covers your entire body doesn't it LOL LOL. Well you have inspired me I believe that after working since I was 15 years old and working very hard I know I can do it it will be hard but the money the money the money the money. DeeDee I'm 60 years old as well I've been working hard since I was 15 I have not worked since February 20th 2022 due to my back and my thyroid has taken a dump on me. However, laying around and just doing housework I have found it to be extremely boring especially since I have worked all my life. I myself have arthritis let me share this with you take a few 500 mg aspirin with you. Take one before your shift and possibly one more on your lunch. Aspirin is amazing for inflammation and will help you amazingly. If I'm 60 and I know I can do it and I start tomorrow you can too. Don't be scared you got this Dee Dee keep faith in yourself. We are women we are strong and we can do this. I hope this message gets to you my fellow Amazonian

@@terrimiller1523 hey girl… yes I quit. It was killing my hips/feet, etc.
Felt like 2 trucks hit me at the end of my shift so I couldn’t continue.
As for the aspirin, that may help w/some arthritis pain but it’s bad for your stomach.
You can develop ulcers if you take it daily so maybe you should seek out another pain killer.
Plus you shouldn’t take aspirin if you take blood thinners (some people do if they have hypertension).
How has the job been for you hon?
I was working @ a Fresh store (kitchen).
How much time it took for you to get a blue badge ? And, do Amazon provide PR to international students?
It took me two weeks and I am not sure if amazon provide PR to

My first day is next week, I chose the same hours (6pm-4:30am) because it will pay more than day shift :) I guess I better start working out again so I can get used to being sore beforehand! Thanks for the video

Hello I have a question… I got hired at Amazon and my start date isn’t until the 18th of September. I’ve done the mydocs now just waiting on orientation video. Today I was looking at other schedule for the same position and I found a shit with my same days time and possible start date but the pay was higher so I selected. When I selected it canceled my original start date appointment. Does this mean I don’t have the job no more? What do I do now?

I started at MDW7 in Monee, IL in october 2018 and I just transferred to IGQ2 in University Park, IL last year in May 2021 and thats when I became learning ambassador and now I'm a process assistant and I love my job and I love what I do now I learn about capacity and how to coach the associates and also write dires and other stuff

No they don’t get a raise😂😂😂😂 they get paid like every tier 1 and act like a mini manager when they basically same level as tier 1 Lol😂😂😂😂 you getting paid nothing extra to be a manager ass kisser

essentially you're a mini process assistant with no extra compensation. its sometimes really annoying especially if said process assistant is out, you're covering their role with no coverage.

Possible start date is the 14th(next Sunday) I log on to Amazon force and it says “background check” in progress. Nothing bad on my background & it’s been 3 days since my pre hire appointment.. should I be worried??
