There is only one Elton John. Taron Egerton is the only actor for this role. I cannot see Daniel Radcliffe playing Elton. He was considered for the role. Daniel Radcliffe as Elton John is like Taron Egerton as Harry Potter- doesn't fit.

In the original she was nervous recording with Elton because he was already well established and I think too kinda awestruck she was getting to be doing work with someone that was by that time internationally famous.
