I'd be very curious to test one of these in my blacksmith shop. I rarely use my oxy-acetylene torch because of the hassle of taking the tanks into town to be filled, but I use my propane forge all the time.... since I'm a blacksmith. I'd love to know what kit would best cover all my needs -- from spot heating 1/2" diameter bars for riveting to brazing steel sheets. I realize it's not a cutting torch, but the closer I can get to the functionality of an O/A rig, the better. I'm just now sure what tips and such are going to be needed.
Also, how does this compare to O/A or MAPP gas for quickly heating thick steel? Am I going to be draining my 100# propane tank in a half a day's work because it takes twice as long to heat thicker cross sections than with O/A or MAPP?

Isn’t it necessary to put an anti back flame to the device???

Hello indira3. No non-return valve/protection is needed for LPG systems, only acetylene equipment is used and required.

@@SievertAB Because I have ordered one - since I’m used to working with butane/propane I will have to switch to acetylene? I saw on your site it might be possible to use propane, butane, acetylene
