    • @Blunder_Man
      @Blunder_Man  13 дней назад

      Hey Richard! Yeah I've heard people say both so I was not sure to be honest. It seems people are saying the same words for others things differently as an. For example: pirc defense, I've heard grandmasters say "perk", but apparently it's "peer-keu" so that's how I say it now... I'll try to remember this but it's hard to change a habit haha

    • @richardlong5928
      @richardlong5928 12 дней назад +1

      @ oh totally! I get it. I hear even grandmasters pronounce Pirc a few different ways. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter much. We anglicize and adopt a lot of foreign language words and sometimes the mispronunciation becomes the norm. However I feel like in most cases with Italian words, the “ch” is almost always a hard C sound, as in “Chianti” or “Chiara”

      opponent spent 3 minutes in a 10 minute game with no-increment calculating the queen trap line. that seems more legit than your average cheater. the only difficult move to find in that game from white was the queen trap. the rest i feel like should be very standard for someone rated 2000. f3 is not hard to find because you provoke him to play f3 when you move your bishop to g4. maybe g4 is ok if it actually stopped opponent from playing f3, but it doesn't instead it just throws gasoline on the fire because now f3 comes with a tempo on the bishop. a lot of your play was encouraging your opponent to play the best moves in the position.

      Ngl this game was nothing complicated for the opponent, he played the best moves in a position thag never transposed into something more complicated. Now if he played some insane tactical moves that went beyond any 2000s instincts or calculative ability, yes, maybe he'd be cheating.

    I much prefer how Eric Rosen handles these situations in his speedrun videos. Doesn't make any accusations and doesn't even allude to the fact that there may be cheating going on. The only time he'll say something about it is when the account is closed for fair play violation. Otherwise, he just accepts defeat, gives credit to his opponent, and moves on.
