Good game Bro
@@ElKikiKaws good game!!! Haha, thanks for them!
I feel like when I start playing over the board, I will be in the same boat. lol Fun video!
OTB is something else hahah, it's the same game, but someone did something to make it different lol
Everything is clear to me now
What is clear to you brother
Keep it up 🎉 man!
@@Zelda_Gamerz I will brother!! Chess is a journey!
I just recently discovered your videos they are great and they also inspired me to try to go for 2000 elo myself my current elo is 1711. I hope I can do it. And good luck to you for your journey I really think you will hit 2000 shortly. Keep up the great work! Best Whises and Marry Christmas already from a new sub from Switzerland! edit: I am sorry if there are mistakes in my english I am 13 years old and I've only studied english in school for 3 years.
@BeStr0000 that's amazing bro!!! You will 100% hit 2000, you are young and can improve quickly!! I'm glad you enjoy the videos!!! Thanks for watching my friend!
Playing many rapid games in a row builds up mental workload and diminishes working memory capacity. In these circumstances, hanging a rook is the norm, not the exception. It's annoying, but not a sign of lacking skills. Furthermore, the wish to achieve a nearby goal, e.g. 2K, puts one's mind in a fast forward mode. That's when mistakes are made. Luckily, this "chess crime" is not a constant sorrow for you. So I wouldn't be too depressed about it. One swallow does not make a summer. In the big picture, you are doing fine.
@omamoka63 thanks for the encouragement man, I do still think I'm gonna fall quite a ways before I hit 2k, but I'll just keep trying to focus on playing good chess and hopefully I can keep progressing!
Fantastic games! Three months ago when you were around 1700 I would have not believed that you could hit 2k by the end of this year, but now I really think it's possible! You're gonna have to change your channel name from BlunderMan to BrilliantMan when you hit 2k👍!
@@gravitraxrocker hahaha, bro, I will never be brilliant, don't make my head big!! Hahaha

Thanks bro haha, can't believe how close I am to 2k. I think I'm gonna crash and burn pretty soon lol! Thanks for supporting the channel financially bro!! You seriously don't have to, but I appreciate it haha!!
@@Blunder_Man Of course homie! I think your over the board experience is the biggest difference in your approvement. I play decent online but play like a 500 over the board lol
@@TheyCallMeNis have you been playing tournaments? I think I could make it a series where I push for 1700 OTB or something like that! It's a lot of fun!
Great progress, but the board vision in the second game though...

As a 1000 I can confidently say this is chess
Haha, glad you're enjoying brother!!
good games man! ive started playing the jobava and dutch because of you

@@maximusr7307 it ain't happening brother, there's no way
Love the content have done for a while whats next after 2k 😮
Really glad you're enjoying in brother! I made a poll, maybe I'll continue to 2200, not sure yet!
Once you hit around 1980, that's where it gets to that next difficulty level, and progress can plateau for a little bit - Prepare yourself for this, its not you, you will be getting better, its the competition. Very well done.
I've a feeling I may drop 200 points all of a sudden! I'm prepared! Hahaha
Words of wisdom were spoken! It is in deed easy to find a tactic, when you know it's there, like in puzzles. Whereas in an actual game you begin with an evaluation, whether tactics are in the air or not. However, one dimension of your success is the ability to find decent moves even when the position is not tactical at all. The first game illustrates this point nicely. Well played!
Thanks so much brother! Yeah... Chess seems easy when watching, especially with an eval bar. I'll try to be more aware! I think I've started to notice "odd" moves, but often can't figure out why
My instinct was c3 so I'm glad you chose it. And when black offered the queen trade I was glad you accepted. Sadistic Tushi is great at jobava and he's very comfortable with moving his king to Kf2.
@@walterbrownstone8017 yes.. I think c3 was second best move, and Kf2 is always solid, I just need to be okay to play it!
@Blunder_Man did you get lucky game 2?
@@walterbrownstone8017 super lucky bro
@Blunder_Man I like analysis probably more than the game, so I can tell you for sure lots and lots of 2k+ games end with the opponent playing a dumb move. I wouldn't be surprised if you made it this year so I'll give you 60/40 because I know how easy it is to lose 50 points in 2 hours... you're close, but bad things can happen fast too.
Words of wisdom!
GGs! Congrats on 1950. You deserve every win! Whether it's by an inch or a mile.

@@palette3748 eughhh it's my fault I didn't get it out, but I've a few ideas
1. Thought of a mesh/trucker style hat? 2. Absolutely inspiring to hear you're interested in pursuing coaching chess. Or pursuing any chess career out there, its a good time - chess is bigger than ever with all the content, chess sites/apps, and increased online visibility on big deals like a TIED WORLD CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP, WHERE WINNER TAKES ALL (or goes to tiebreakers) TOMORROW!
@@TheSirCal I do have a trucker style hat in the store, I know a few of them have sold. I don't know how to go full time with it, I need to grow a lot more online, but maybe getting into coaching/teaching could enable that? I think it'd be a start, my own improvement at the game will help a lot as well... But yeah, I'm def keen to give it all a go!!
Awewome games!
Thanks balzenburg!!
You're calculating. That's why you've improved. Keep it up, and the journey continues well beyond 2K. GG!
@omamoka63 you're too hopeful bro, don't you know that I'm the Blunder Man?
@Blunder_Man It's not about the size of the dog in the fight. It's about the size of the fight in the dog. 😁
