    Hi Dear
    Please advice,
    I have almost same config. M54b30 with Asa T3-313 compressor + larger fuel injectors + schrick camshafts + water/methanol injection system, etc/// without intercooler.
    The max boost pressure what I can reach with current compressor pulley is 0.5 bar.
    Compressor pulley diameter is 140 mm, diameter of the crankshaft pulley is 147 mm, that's mean ratio will be: 147/140 = 1.05
    The ratio of the compressor inner gear is 1:10.125
    The maximum engine RPM is 6700
    RPM of the compressor at max rpm of the engine will be : 1.05x6700=7035. 7035x10.125= 71229 RPM
    In accordance with technical specs - RPM limit of this compressor is 85000
    As far as I can see from the compressor chart, that 71229 RPM is around the beggining of most effective zone for this compressor.
    That's why I'm planning to increase the RPM of the compressor (by installing pulley with less diameter) to run around let's say 77-78000 RPM for reach a middle-high of the effective zone.
    The target is - to reach more effective air mass & boost of compressor at lower engine RPM , it will helps to reach more torque of engine at lower RPM, and more stable torque from middle to high range of engine RPM.
    Please advice, what is the diameter of your compressor pulley ? How you reach 0.8 bar ?
    And ofcourse the question - how your engine still a life under the pressure 0.8 bar with OEM pistons (compression ratio 10.2) ??
    Also you was mentioned that you had installed intercooler??? Could you be so kind to let me know which intercooler you was installed and how? OEM from diesel e46? I dont have any idea how to install intercooler due to lack of space.
    I will be very grateful to you if you can send me a photos with intercooler installation on my mail: stinkovsky.oleg@gmail.com
    Sorry for so many questions ))) I hope you will find time to answer on my questions in details
    Many thanks ))

      according to asa the smallest pulley u can put on this system is 95mm.the limit is due to heat problems not supercharger spinning too fast

    hi there. how much did it cost you withoutincluding labour? how much would it have costed you if you just installed the supercharger on the stock engine ?

    What size pulley are you using please?
    And where did you get it from.
    Thanks

      FYI, For ASA compressors you can get different pulleys straight from the ASA factory.

      I really don't know how much it is in US, but contact G-Power for an offer. And apperantly they did since i bought one :-) Best of luck! :-)

    how many hours over all did the supercharger take to install

    • @mrcardriver9186
      @mrcardriver9186  7 лет назад

      The kit took me quite some time. I am not very experienced with modding before, but they are very helpful at G-power. I started the build in november last year. I was finished in march. But i did a few hours here and there. If you are experienced before i would guess around 10-15 hours. I probably did it in 30-40.
      The intake manifold needs to be removed (at least easier) the dipstick needs to be modified, the power steering pump needs to be modded, fuel filter replace and such takes some time. But it was really fun! :-)

      Mr Cardriver what kind of power is it making I recently bought a supercharger for my car trying to find out what power to expect

    • @mrcardriver9186
      @mrcardriver9186  7 лет назад

      I haven't had it dynoed since the intercooler install. But some tuners who i spoke to guessed around 360-400 ps. If that is true remains to see. On E865 without intercooler i managed to get around 300 rwhp.
      I will come back to this with a dunk when all is completed :-) Its winter now so i will not resume the dyno and remap before the spring :-)

      Cool.:) Ich habe zwar unter dem falschen Video kommentiert aber das macht ja nichts.:) Sie haben von Schrick die Nockenwellen mit 272 Grad Einlass und 256 grad Auslass verbaut. Haben Sie was an Ihrem Ventiltrieb geändert oder ist dieses original?
      Mit freundlichen Grüßen
      Philip
