This video was great!!!! You got me laughing so hard, I was crying! 😂 I was enjoying picturing you with all the dresses on as the magician's assistant and then your description of yourself was so so funny!!! The quirky remake of the dresser was a good backdrop for your great commentary. I agree with many of your sentiments. Leave me alone in my garage too! 😊
I love that u make these videos with REAL DIY moms in mind. U give the middle class, working mom, weekend warrior, doable ideas using the things we already have on hand from stores we already shop at!!!! Ur ideas have allowed me to create beautiful projects that I would have never tackled even after multiple other “diy” videos. Most DIY videos are more about selling products not sharing real DIY ideas.
Thank u sooo much!!! Don’t change your style! U ROCK!!
Thanks for the encouragement, Melissa 🖤🖤🖤
Great to see you again! I was wondering where you were.
YES😊finally someone who thinks like me🤭I use contact vinyl that is used to cover books as transfer tape and that can be ultra sticky and I normally just pad it down on the sofa or something that will take away a bit of the stickiness. It’s so much cheaper than proper transfer tape. I’ve also used cheap contact paper/vinyl for stencils as well🌸very cheap. You should also keep the vinyl pattern left on the backing paper and use it as a decal maybe to make little matching coasters for your piece. Also when cutting your vinyl measure your draw and you can make your the design the exact size as your draw front in Cricut before you cut it. It might help to prevent overspray😊
You need to make these little dabbler out of sponges and spray paint on a lid and fill in the little spaces between where the stencil leaves little lines. I’m live in Ga I took a faux painting class in Atl back when it took over wallpapered walls. It works on filling in patterns Love your videos ❤
Use the Jean trick lol I’ve totally done that! It’s my go to when I need a delicate surface tape( more expensive) so I de-tack cheaper tape on my jeans works great!
A joy to watch.
Could you have made the stencil bigger, to fit the entire drawer front?😊 It's cute & I like the color combo! So happy to see you get sponsored!
Love your channel! Thanks for the ideas and inspiration
Interesting what you said about Home Depot vs. Lowe’s. The stores in my town gave me the opposite experience
Welcome back. I was ready to give up😊
A bigger stencil and it would have been amazing. Love that you were testing yourself.
Always a pleasure, dear!
I refer to myself as a pin head too! Lol. My husband has a large noggin so we always make sure my head is closer to the camera than his! I can’t wear anything with puffy sleeves lol
It’s very cute🎉❤I like it
What a fun experiment.
Any tips to staining a white garage door? Any paint base and gel stain color u recommend?
Hi Shannon, miss your videos. I always look forward to seeing your work. Quick question…I recently sanded and stained (dark walnut) a kitchen table and top coated it with poly clear matte. I lightly sanded in between but it looks slightly foggy. It has a waxy looking hue to it. Is that the matte finish or did something go wrong? Thx.
I've watched many videos on furniture refinishing. It seems the refinishers suggest mixing a little of your paint in with the Polyacrylic clear to eliminate the "fog". If you are staining, I haven't a clue. Transcend Furniture Gallery does a lot of stained finishes on RUclips
I love you’re work, however I’m not a fan of this one. I wonder if doing a flat sheen with a satin sheen on the stencil or more monochromatic tonal would be cool. Or just go full Cheetah print lol
Copper would have been cool 😊
When I was at studying at University I worked part time at Dreamworld which is like Disneyland in Australia and at times I had to be a clown🤭it was so embarrassing. I wasn’t funny at all!😆
That’s awesome 😂
All the big box stores are different. I found the Home Depot close to Peachtree Industrial and 285 is targeting Hispanic men contractors not home owners.
Off her game
I agree w/you on Home Depot they are terrible towards women!!!!!! I know mine is.....Lowe's is so much better and nicer!!!!! Great job!!!!
I agree home depot sucks the Lowe's people are friendly
Uneven and blotchy, recommend to use a bigger stencil that covers the entire drawer, it will look better.
Maybe toooo much whimsey, quirky, haphazard, random? Looks a little junky. Although I appreciate you did something out of the ordinary.
Looks uneven and blotchy. Not a good look.
I think you are going in the wrong direction with your channel.
