That's looked like a awesome meet, scene a ton of variety in that vid from serious street drifters to the casual tuners Honda and even a mid 80s BMW. Great to see a car meet with variety like your video end comments said. Wish we had car meets around my area like that. Sadly nobody likes the tuners around here :(

They do like their muscle cars in AU. Holden Monaros are essentially rebadged Pontiac GTOs. Ford's Australian division have a couple of cars designed to compete with the Holdens as well. They generally sell in low numbers, however, because of fuel and insurance costs, which is why imports are much more popular over there.

@Apexx8 As MOOG said today, people were rocking up in Porches, but the "shit" cars that had been worked on, and loved, got all the attention on the day, typical of any MCM meet. Its a different atmosphere.

@trustfire Depends what version Skyline they're talking about. If its a GTR, then the grass is definitely greener. Only a Z06 ZR1 or a Ford GT could give a stock R34 GTR a run around the twisties. Both cost at least 5 times as much.
Love the fact that not all the cars are in perfect condition, but sport a few battle scars here n there, it gives them a bit of character. Chics in silvias are hot as fuuaark
This might be a stupid question, but have you guys ever had Mitsubishi Eclipse's at your car meets? I think they deserve a little light, they are pretty amazing ahha
@joeles69 There was a 3 series and a diesel Golf, and that was about it. There is a an amount of Euro tuning in Australia, but the version of the cars we are sold here are well over priced (and sometimes under spec'ed) and the after-market support is not as strong as for JDM and ADM.
@wakuwaku89 You do realise that the Camaro is essentially a new commodore with a different body? I am not here to get into a fight, I enjoy all cars that are looked after, and used the way they were intended. Big ups to those that like to put their own spin on their ride, and also to those that like them just the way they rolled off the floor. To MCM, good work all round.

The P plate signifies that the driver of the vehicle has a provisional drivers licence, something all Australians have to go through before progressing to a full drivers licence.
