Easy Face Mask Extension For Ear Protection - No Sew - No Buttons - No Plastic!

- How to make your face masks more comfortable in minutes! No need to sew anything, no adding buttons, no plastic to buy.
Many people who are having to wear a face mask for longer periods are finding it uncomfortable on their ears - or maybe they just don't like their ears sticking out that bit more because the elastic is dragging them forward a bit!
There is a simple solution that I show you here in this video - it's also an option to add two of these extenders if you would prefer to have one high and one low on your head.
There are lots of pretty extenders - crocheted, knitted, with fancy pearls and buttons - but then you will be trying to match up your fancy extender to your outfit (or at least I would be!). This is an easy solution that also doesn't end up standing out too much.
I also show an alternative of how to secure the face mask with a hair slide or hair grip, but I think that is also more of a short term option and not as secure as having the additional band.
So, I hope this helps you with your "ear comfort" and I hope we don't have to think about problems like this one for too long.
You'll also find some guided meditation on my channel. If you are feeling a bit stressed out from all of this, why not try one!

One advantage I find from doing a Yoga Nidra meditation regularly is that it fires up my creative side, so I end up doing a few creative things like this. Before settling in Australia I travelled for several years, living in Israel, The Netherlands and NZ. I travelled pretty light, but the one thing I always had with me was my Elna portable sewing machine! Alas, after 40 years of use that one went to its final resting place and I now have a replacement that doesn't come out quite so often, but is still something I would not be without.

I bought myself a mask, but the loops don’t stretch out enough to get behind my ears comfortably. This should work perfectly! Thank you.

¿Elastic skipping ropes as a bracelet, you mean? (English is not my mother tongue and I didn't get the idea right) 🙂
Hi there! Elastic skipping ropes was a playground game where we made a big circle from lots of elastic bands (about 2 metres around). Two people stood a bit more than 1 metre apart with the band held behind their ankles (lower leg). Another person would then skip in patterns using the band - things like catching one side of the band under one foot and crossing it over the other side of the band.
Hope that makes a bit of sense!
@@innerbalmtherapeuticyoga2847 Sounds like fun 👏🏻 Thank you!
Good 'ol youtube. Now I know what I've been saving those scrunchies for. Thanks a bunch, will not be buying mask extenders!
