      It is OG. SK8kings has the best ones. A lot of their rails and skid plates come with them. I by about 20 at a time. I think that is 4 or 5 bags. Worth it to me. Thanks for checking it out and the feedback. Really appreciate you being a part of it.

    I love this video,I ain't skipping shit, feels like I'm hanging with a friend who's sharing some knowledge with me while setting up a board. Meanwhile I'm over here getting ideas on building my next board ( I Wana recreate my first skateboard) I really like your setup,I'm sure I've said this before but if you're ever out my way ( Virginia, Fredericksburg area) hit me up I'm down to shred. Kids and health issues prevent me from traveling to far but there's some skateparks close enough (30 miles or so) and I got a long ass paved driveway and a shin high box and plans for a mini ramp after christmas.cheers bubba!

      Will definitely hit you up. I don't get up that way much but do find myself in VA Beach and Norfolk often so not a bad drive from there.
      That is rad that you enjoyed the video. I honestly question if I should upload it. Feedback like this makes it worth it.
      What was your first board? I am building a board that came out before I was born that will be sharing soon.

    The way you build your boards you would be considered a purist by not mixing certain parts. Again this was cool to watch.

    The same thing happened to me when i got back int skateboarding after 30+ years
    I did my first old school setup (Rob Roskopp Reissue Face Deck) I got the old school yellow Riser pads not knowing they changed size on the reissue deck. Cool setup my twin brother from over the pond 🛹

    • @AdventuresInSkateboarding
      @AdventuresInSkateboarding  9 месяцев назад +1

      What got me is a lot of my G&S reissues have the new bolt pattern. I run ACE on my Neil Blender boards. But lesson learned. I did get the right size wooden risers for it and changed it out with different Indy's so I could get my salaba back the way I like it.
      I am a nerd hahaha. Stay Rad Sir.

    I’ve made the same sticker mistake in reverse order. My trucks were Ace and I put an Indy sticker on the board. Very first session the Indy sticker scraped hallway off. I felt the Indy demons could sense the mistake I made. 😂

    • @philkavanaugh
      @philkavanaugh 9 месяцев назад +1

      What the issue was with the new trucks. I've done that with a fishtail board before thinking "it's a 10" deck right?"

    • @AdventuresInSkateboarding
      @AdventuresInSkateboarding  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@philkavanaugh the issue was I didn't check the bolt pattern. The board has the old school bolt pattern and ACE trucks doesn't make a base plate to match. It is in me for not checking. But we solved the problem. Then went back after and got the correct wooden risers pad and swapped out with different Indys so I could put these Indys back on the SALBA where. Love that Salba setup didn't want to change the way it rides.
      Stay Rad Sir.

    • @philkavanaugh
      @philkavanaugh 9 месяцев назад

      Yeah I seen that. You said give it a guess and no cheating haha. If the sticker was still driving you crazy, you could prob drill the baseplate out. I seen a couple Indy/Ace hybrids on fuckwithyourtrucks too. Could be worth a shot
