RULES:
The object of this 2 player game is to be the first player to correctly guess whodunit, with which weapon, and in which location in the room. Separate the weapons, suspects, and location cards into 3 separate decks and shuffle each deck facedown. Without looking, remove 1 card from each deck and add it to the evidence folder. Shuffle all 3 decks together and deal out all the cards to the players. Players look at their own cards but keep them hidden from their opponent. Layout the board and place a character token randomly on each suspect space. Place a weapon randomly on each weapon space. Each player choses a pawn and places it on start.
The youngest player goes first, then turns alternate. On your turn, roll the die then move your pawn up to that many spaces. You may not move diagonally or travel through the same space multiple times on a single turn. You may not move onto or through he same space as your opponent’s pawn. If you land on a character, weapon, or location space, these are called evidence spaces, then you must make a suggestion based on the edidence space you landed on and 1 other category of evidence. For example, if you landed on the col mustard space you could suggest col mustard with the candlestick.
If your opponent has an evidence card for either suggestion, they must lay it face up on the table in front of them. If they don’t have either evidence, then they say so and do not reveal a card. Revealed cards remain face-up on the table for the rest of the game. Your turn is now over and your opponent goes.
Once you think you know who did it, with which weapon, and in where, you must move to the body outline space and make an accusation. If you are correct, then you win; if you are incorrect then your opponent gets to guess. They are correct then they win, otherwise you both lose. Хобби
I like the fact that this game doesn't have a draw condition and instead both players can lose
abuse it and make a guess as fast as possible >:)
@@deedeeen your actually kinda evil
Now everyone is sad!
@@honeyjuice219 ye
@@honeyjuice219 Fun fact, playing the game properly has that same condition, except the person with the killer's identity wins if everyone messes up their guess.
How one person has to accuse correctly if the other person doesn't is an interesting mechanic
It's in normal Clue. The only difference is that the player with the killer's card wins if everyone messes up on their accusation.
2:00 This is perfect, because I usually play as Colonel Mustard in Clue, and I have written 22 books that repeatedly use jokes about hitting someone with a wrench. Pipe wrench is my favorite blunt weapon.
i’m trying to think of a pun. guess a *spanner* has been thrown into my pun work
Originally, Red (commonly known as Miss Scarlet) player goes first, then turns alternate.
Glad to see that, just like regular clue, you're allowed to make suggestions with cards that are in your hand
2 player Clue feels cursed.
It happens in new clue game
One more, at the beginning of the game, if you roll one and you get out of the start and land on the space where your opponent cannot move out of star, you take another turn
"The rules are the same as regular Clue, except for this changes"
"You know the rules and so do i"

@@andysph1441…. That rickroll song line
Way easier than the original
Seems like a shortened version of the original Clue.
It's specifically reworked for two players. There are a bunch of "rivals" board games that have adjusted rules that work for two players, since the full versions are usually designed with more people in mind. Often if you try to play a game with fewer players than intended, then you run into situations where the game expects you to choose between your opponents, and having only one opponent removes that choice.
My Variation:
Be careful with accusations, because if you get it wrong, your opponent wins immediately.
No, if you get it wrong, your opponent must make a accusation. If they did, they win. Wrong? Then lose
Just played this with my date, she said the instructions didn't specify that you had to roll to move to the middle when making an accusation, and that you were allowed to just move the piece there when you are ready. She's right, doesn't say to roll, but I feel like the roll was implied. Anyways, she still lost lol.
This a weird looking chess man
It’s not chess piece, it’s a clue piece
I always forget it's just called 'clue' in America
Medic gaming
This is Cluedo simplified for 2 players.
Interesting
This game plays like Clue, except for these changes. For a refresher, watch the video here 👆
Hmm seem fun
Can clue rivals can be coop or battle ?
No, a hasbro gaming rivals type
🎉
How about Betrayal
You mean betrayal at the house on the hill?
@@Kirbythecuteball yes

you both lose sounded like a threat
The fact I am able to get confused makes this game not good, they’re not descriptive enough. Need more examples for how to even ask questions. It’s too complex and should’ve been simplified, do not suggest anyone to play this game at all
Pin me cuz there is my birthday today 👀👀
