Several years ago, I read about an incident that made me think. A company in the U.S. had entered into an agreement with a Russian company - which was still part of the Soviet Union - to sell a number of goods for importation. But when representatives from the U.S. company arrived to make the delivery, they discovered a number of the items had been banned by the U.S. government for sale to Russia. The sales representatives were upset, because a promise of delivery had been made, and they feared the representatives from the Russian company would be very angry. But the U.S. representatives were pleasantly surprised when their Russian counterparts turned out to be very reasonable about the situation. i know this was 3 years ago but i like that dom guy’s communopoly where rolling a 1 under any circumstances makes you ‘disappear’. you can’t have more than 1000 ruples go to jail, and you ‘disappear’ when destitute and in jail. being destitute sends you to jail.

No, this is voluntary
If you wanted to make this non-satirical, you could make one of the state properties "where you live" and if you land on it, you get to hide one of your rebellion cards. And if you got in the gulag, you could get out through military service, where you roll the dice. If you roll a double, you get out, except if you roll a 12, you die. You could also make one of the cards a search warrant, which you have to use within 3 turns, or you lose it, but if you use it and then land on an opponent's house, you get to investigate them, where you pick one of their hidden cards randomly, to get them in the gulag. Corruption could then be replaced with the October labor lottery, and if you land on it, you are selected to run the East Grestin border checkpoint and have to go play Papers Please for the rest of the day.

You should have added a way for one player to "become the state" for a few turns and maybe build some wealth or power and build on the board before another player removes them by poison or some other action. Really cool game

I enjoyed this. I found it by looking up "communism monopoly" after seeing the socialist monopoly. I was actually trying to find a communist monopoly that was not a criticism and instead an educational tool, but it's fitting that the one you made is a satire as that's essentially what monopoly is for capitalism. I also appreciated how you acknowledged the history of monopoly and your humor.

Anyone can make a board game, so it's not really a monopoly, but if you were to rip off Monopoly, there is a chance that you get sued. It is still funny how communist ideas get turned around on them so easily.

So we have people buying che guevara off Amazon and taking selfies with it on and posting it to Instagram, feeling like a rebel. They just paid money, and supported I phone and Instagram but they got to buy the validation they wanted. Validation is the real commodity that was sold to them, and they have no idea.
Whenever someone passes go the game should make everyone add all of their money, add $1 to the pool, then distribute it equally.

In a pure communist society the way Marx intended there would be no currency and therefore no inflation, IMO that scenario is unrealistic and hasn’t been achieved in any “communist” state so far tho, so I get why u find that statement ironic, even if ur is true

i did a quick research and if its not wrong everyone was rewarded when wealth was created, in opposition to the rules where your objective is to destroy the other's financial situation

I checked the rules myself. It’s basically normal monopoly, but you have monopolists team and competitor team. And difference in rules is that the winner isn’t necessarily the last man standing(absolute monopolist), you need to be in winning team and have the biggest amount of wealth in it. So that game is faster but team on team

The actual game has a turn limit. Also if it's a particularly slow game, trading will help
The reason is takes so long is because no one actually uses the real rules for monopoly and their entire knowledge of the game is a bunch of weird and bad house rules. If you play by the actual rules it is a much more fun game that takes 2 hours at the most. It still isn’t great though.
@@nathanpredmore7577 To be honest I'm not a fan of Monopoly and I always found it baffling when my friends decided to play it and then spent the entire evening arguing about the rules, because "in my family we use different rules". As people in IT say: read the fudging manual.
I love Monopoly. I live in Germany and in schools we have so called AGs which stands for "Arbeitsgemeinschaft", basically "Working group". These are after the school and voluntarily. In my AG we were playing many different games and had a fun time. One day my teacher decided that we could make a version of a game we like by ourself as a project of the AG. So we agreed on Monopoly. My teacher gave us a square of chipboard, cardboard colours and brushes an we began designing our own Monopoly. Some were cutting and drawing the cards with the street names on it from the cardboard, others were drawing lines on the chipboard to mark were wich street is and others started painting it. We put the names of the streets we lived in on the board and wrote our own event cards. The figures were made of polymer clay. We had much fun and a great time doing this. I loved Monopoly before but this was a moment when I started liking it even more.
