cool stuff, i really like the sounds you got here. I like your solo stuff on bandcamp too, very experimental but also musical. Would you say that I need a pro800 to do stuff like this on the run, or could i get away with using a pro-1/model d?

Thank you so much! 🙏 I’m glad you’re enjoying my tracks on Bandcamp. To program "On the Run," a Pro 1 should do the job with its built-in sequencer. However, with the Model D, you'll need to add a sequencer.
I thought I'd ridicule anyone attempting that but seems you managed to find the mainline arpeggio and the tone is pretty spot on. Now how about the rythm and other synth sounds :)

Hello Fred, j’ai programmé le patch à la volée sans faire de comparaison avec celle des Floyd. Pour chaque synthé il y a forcément une couleur différente, en fonction de leur filtre. Je vais attendre que Behringer sorte l’AKS pour pouvoir comparer 😂😂😂
how moogish can this thing be? would you say that you can almost dail in moog sounds, because i have this against the poly d and deepmind 6 and cant decide. I mean you were capable to dail in a indistingiushable version of on the run..(even those two "beep tones" that are tweaked out of the sequence) sounds as if you can dail in any analoge retro sound from the 70s and the 80s up to almost oberheim thickness?

Each synth has its own character, particularly due to its filter. Easily approaching the vibe of "On the Run" is achievable with a subtractive synthesis-based device. For Moog-like sounds, the Poly D is a great choice, although it's paraphonic with 4 voices. On the other hand, the DeepMind offers 6-voice polyphony with extensive modulation possibilities. Ideally, having both would be perfect 😉
It seems that the entire purpose of Behringer is to do something that someone else has already done. Not only the company but even the customers are unoriginal. Conformist followers who follow up on what others have already done.

Hahaha great debate. So to be an original customer you would have to buy a Sequential Prophet? I already have a Prophet 6, I don't consider myself more original than anyone who has Prophets The purpose of my purchase of the pro-800 is to preserve my Prophet 6 during concerts. I am always afraid that it will be damaged during handling. Now he can stay quietly in my studio.

Capitalism is ingrained as a deep belief, making it difficult for many people to question it. Sadly, this belief influences the culture, thus limiting the blossoming of creativity. However, as long as enchanting melodies endure, it is better to savor these moments without asking too much. Just enjoy it

I created this patch, but it is not included in the presets provided with the device at the time of purchase.
