    How do you take that ICV out so you can clean it?

      You unfortunately the clamps around the tubes that connect to it from the top and bottom and take it out to clean it out I have no clue

    Unplug the connector and remove rubber house. Cleaning with carburetor cleaner inside.

      That's just the beginning of the removal. :) Then what ? Can you just pull out on that rubber support that ICV it stays into? I can't see what's under that rubber harness/support thing, so i hesitate about just pulling it out. Thanks.

    I’m having an issue with my icv. I bought all new hoses. And an aftermarket ICV I still have the original OEM one. After replacing all new hoses and new icv..the car wouldn’t start. Now with a new Bosch voltage regulator and a new battery….nothing happens…

      @@190mex yes engine cranks. When I spray b12 carb cleaner it turns on with the belt screeching than it dies. I also replaced the voltage regulator and put a new battery in it…still nothing….

      @juancarlosmuniz8865 Good then check U shape rubber house on bottom connect full to air flow meter rubber boot if this is issue not have vacuum and air flow disc canot push piston in fuel distributor and you not have fuel on injectors check this.

      @@190mex are you talking about the hose that connects under the exhaust manifold (header)? The one that connects directly to the ICV from underneath?

    i unplug the connector of the icv but still the idle/acceleration is very low.yours still have power .possible my problem of my 190e sir? the icv or the potentiometer?

      Check whether the potentiometer in the factory settings or is damaged too much and gives the wrong parameters

    I just want to ask. Is it ok to have 1000rpm when idling and when the A.C is on its about 800rpm.?

      Idle is too high check for vacuum leaks on rubber boot and pipes, air flow potentiometer when engine is cold idle go to 1000 rpm when engine is warm then drop of basic 750 rpm when ac is on idle go up.

      @@190mex how about 900rpm when idling? And when the A.C is on its about 750-800 rpm.

      @@MartinMechanicGamer it should be 650-750 rpm when the engine is idling and 800-850 when the air conditioner is on. Because then there is a greater load on the engine and it has to compensate with higher revolutions

      @@190mex thanks a lot. I would check the vacuum leaks or rubber boot and pipes. I just adjust the timing distributor and the idle in the throttle body to get that 900rpm coz when i turn on the ac the engine shut off.

      @The Gaming Mechanic If you have KE-Jetronic system of injection you cannot adjust timing manually.

    my car doesn't change in rpm at all when i removed the connector? I already have a new OVP so what is the reason

      Hello if all original and has not been touched not the ICV then the speed should increase in the event of capture ICV is manually adjusted was the hex screw. Usually rpm is not good if there is leakage of air or if the potentiometer is damaged

    My 190e has starting trouble,when cold start there is no problem,but when the engine run for 10 or more after off the engine,at the same time we start it will ok but we off the engine for 10 min it will not start,then we want to start the engine minimum 3or 4 times to crank the engine, please tell me why it happened

      Test your fuel accumulator ruclips.net/video/Ua5nyUGXC0Y/видео.html 30:30 if it leaking you found the problem. Old accumulator is common isues on old mercedes if diafragm is broken only fix is to get new or use in good condition.

      Yeah 190mex right. If fuel accumulator cannot hold pressure in line, then when hot in fuel line fuel can become vapour - then the fuel mixture is out. cold start, no problem, but hot start problem because of fuel vapour in line. Another problem no hot start is because of air leak in air line. Do smoke test. When hot air leak in air line and fuel mixture out. I guess the hoses get heated and air leak gets worse. For air leak test use connector in manifold for servo/brake? connector. Get mechanic to do air leak test for you if not need to buy smoke machine and also need compressor. Cold start ok but hot no start fuel mixture affected.

    En mi caso el coche arranca perfecto en frío, pero en caliente tan pronto suben las rpm caen hasta 500 o así, todo el coche vibra y parece que se vaya a calar, tarda unos segundos en estabilizarse después... Por qué puede ser?

      test fuel pressure, test air flow sensor, test temperature sensor( for ECU )4pin or 2 pin

      @@190mex Thank you very much, my temperature sensor placed in the front of the engine has 4 pins. It seems to he in a good shape (not tested yet) how could I do that? How can I test flow sensor? The car's plenty of power it only fails when ignition.

      Cold start 1100 rpm warm 750-800 rpm

      thx! do you know why mine is always at 500? whether hot or cold? I might try cleaning out the ICV

      Clean ICV and test air flow potentiometar on idle most be 0.7 +- 0.1 V
