I’m a 24 year old bloke and my fastest time is 11:82, and that’s considered pretty quick for the average person. Insanely impressive how quick she is. Big future ahead of her.
I like the emotional control and good sportsmanship after it was over. Well done. My father was the NCAA 100 Yard champion back in the 50’s when he ran for West Point (USMC). I admire people who can control their emotions and act right after winning🏆🏆🏆
To clarify - West Point is the Army's Academy, not Marines. It is officially known as The United State Military Academy (USMA) so I understand the confusion

When I was small, my paddle tennis teacher used me as bait 🪤 and let her daughter Misty May thrash all of us on the court, one by one. My cousins and sister and I were tiny and just wanted to learn, but she'd let Misty crush us all, like I said one by one, at the end when we were waiting for our grandma to pick us up. We spoke among ourselves about how much we hated Misty and didn't want to have her waltz in and do us like that anymore, and her mom acted like "oh yeah, play with Misty while I clean up the equipment", all innocently. Grrr. So, yeah, she is a gold medal olympian for volleyball now. 🍃🤔😇🙃 But it def did traumatize us a little and Misty was not a nice girl: at all. And her mom reminded me of what beauty pageant moms are probably like. They'll claw their way to the top if they have to, type thing. Anyhow, 🤗🏓🎾

I watched a Rio Olympics heat involving our fastest 100 metres women's sprinter. She ran an 11.74 second hundred metres. Pearce ran an 11.79. This further infuriates my perception of my country's athletics strengths.

Guys, I'm talking about results not records, Aria finished this one at 11.76, in Tokio the thirth place runner registered 10.76 about one second faster than Aria, at the world championship the eight place registered 11.06 seconds, 10.76 and 11.06 are Olympian results not Olympian records, that's what I was trying to point out, these 7th grader is about one second away from registering Olympian results not Olympian records, please don't fight👍
I used to coach Junior High boys Football, Basketball & Track. Had a 7th grade boy run an 11.1 100m in our All City meet. When he was a freshman in Highschool blew out his knee in football. Sadly after that he was never the same. He was one of the fastest kids I had ever seen in Junior high
@@pamelawing5747 there are qualifier events where you can compete against any age, like time trials for the Olympics, where there isn’t an age requirement etc. my son plays soccer for an Olympic development team, he plays up in age groups due to the event rules.

Our first company party was in....a single car garage. 20 something of us w/ a kegger, BBQ, etc. The company? NIKE I quit to transfer to U of Washington- because I just knew that this company wasn't going to survive. HOW WRONG I WAS!!!!
She was a bit all over the place to start, but really stretches out her stride at about 60-70 mark. It’s interesting, a lot of times that can slow you down in a sprint, but she had great mechanics from that point on.
This girl hasn’t entered High school yet and she ran a faster time than Abby’s best HS time. But they all mature at different stages. Can’t draw too much from it.

this kid will be in the 10s once she gets a better start, still, after 40-50 meters she was unstoppable
