The day starts at 06:30 and this programme will cover the behind the scenes action members of the public cannot view!
This video includes a footplate ride, line-side footage and capturing the process of bringing a beast of the steam era back to life!

I do love seeing locomotives being fired up for their daily runs
I like the engine shed - very 'Ivor'!
Very interesting. The loco looks good.
Very nice video, likes from me!
Thanks mate!
Lovely
Thanks mate!
Hello, I have a question, I was wondering, will the other half of the Class 127 arrive soon because a long time ago I asked Simon Gray about it and he has the new road will be built and then the Class 10 will arrive and the other half of the 127 most likely with it, but the 127 hasn't came yet. Is it able to be delivered yet and if not why?
The 127 is waiting on the road to be completed due to it needing a larger lorry then the class ten.
@@83GrailwayProductions That makes sense, so is the road nearly finished?
@trainman86trainstramsandmore just started 😭 the council threw a spanner in the works
@@83GrailwayProductions Oh dear.
I just hope that the other half hasn't deteriorated too much while at Henstridge because it will play a vital role in the near future for you all as a DMU.Having looked at a recent photo and a photo of it in '21 I don't think it has fared too badly tbh. It dosen't looked like it has deteriorated much. I just hope the council get their skates and build the road quickly so the railway can finally start to get somewhere. Also I see William Murdoch at the beginning of the video, any idea when it will be put back together because I ahve heard from other sources that the work is basically complete and just needs to be re-assembled. Oh, and another quick question, are there any plans to restart the restoration of the 117 coach soon or is it still very much a long term plan?
❤
Thx
Which loco is this? Looks to be a Peckett or Avonside?
Peckett no.2000 currently on a extended loan from its home at Barrow Roadhouse
@83GrailwayProductions aww a shame, Barrow Hill haven't had a working locomotive go up and down their half mile running line for a while now
Indeed, although it’s loving life at Helston
Boy, was that an incredibly stupid thing to do, acknowledge the whistle from the driver then run & jump over the rails… if he’d tripped, he’d have been sliced in two… he should have stood in a place of safety as the loco passed.
Nice video, where is Helton? It’s not a railway I know?
Was a perfectly safe thing to do as he needed to be the other side of the track to carry out other duties! Helston is in Cornwall.
