Great content as always, Bro! I’m official now! Did my first Amazon Relay load this weekend…..overnight in a snowstorm! I’m in Chicago, so I deadheaded to Wisconsin and dropped off at 2 post offices up there! It was a challenge, but the $$$ made it worthwhile! As far as cold-calling brokers, I’ve called about 20 from DAT! About 4 of them accept new authorities! One company was Dynamic Freight! I’m not at home where my list is and I can’t recall the others! I do know that Landstar also works with new authorities, as well! I’ll add another comment with those other companies later! Keep dropping these gems, my dude! Your info has really helped me during this inception period! Thanks a bunch!!! Stay safe! 💯

Just started last week it’s been rough any new guys out there what a lot if people don’t say is that brokers love new mc they know that we are willing to take anything also for new guys pay attention to where your going city could be a town In middle of no where and closets load are 5hrs away definitely a learning process I broke down and got a broker because of the experience of them knowing where to be what loads aren’t profitable

Nobody giving you credit you either have to cash out or wait until you're at least 2yrs in the game to get financing.
Here are those other companies that accept NEW AUTHORITIES: Galaxy Freight, TQL, and D.T. Lines! I mentioned Landstar & Dynamic Freight in an earlier comment. I also contacted AGD Logistics. They want you to book the load first, then they'll send out a carrier packet!
AGD does a lot of double brokering but they will pay you.

Mack trucks are beastly and for a new one with what I want is about $130k. They are great trucks. I'm familiar with running their loads but not sure about leasing on with them as far as box trucks.

Question, I have. 2022 Ford transit fully paid for and insured til April 2024, and I'm really thinking about trading it for a box truck, any advice??? I already took heed to you saying get a Cummins engine Allison transmission and I got my twic card, I'm currently signed on with a logistics company doing expediting and I don't care for that. Initially wanted to stay with them til my MC is active and aged but now I'm not sure at them, I trust your advice, help a sister out please lol

It can take about a week or so. But you can reach out to their 3rd party company RMIS. They are the ones that handle the onboarding for new carriers. ✌🏿

Less than 10k pounds. You'd have to go weigh your truck to get the actual weight you can carry. Fill it up with diesel and def. Then go to pilot or loves truck stop and weigh the truck. You will find out how much you can actually carry that way. Some trucks weigh a little more than others.
Im having a really rough time getting insurance out here in Northern California. Supposedly insurers are not wanting to work with Amazon any suggestions or tips I'm Hella frustrated.

Get ready to give a majority of your earnings to the rental company. They are not cheap these days. The question is will you be able to rent and sustain the business to be able to purchase months down the line? I'm having this conversation quite often lately.
That's understandable, i know jumping in will not be a walk in the park but I believe in my dedication and faith
I can tell u from personal experience I was payin 1500 a wk to budget for 9months its better to buy ur own truc cause even if u break down u still hve to pay ur rental to keep ur truc even if it’s in the shop. I broke down in El Paso for 10 days and still had to pay my rental while staying in a hotel then got a Petipa bac of what I paid in hotels and their weekly fees because they didn’t pay full back even if they couldn’t get u a truc like they agree. Then having to hustle to recoup tht is a stress. My authority is a yr now but the one thing I would change starting out would be buying my own truc rather than renting. Now I hve my own it’s a huge difference in in profits. I’d advise even if u buy a used one n fix it up I’d choose that 100/1 over renting again to keep tht 72000 I spent renting
Jus manage ur money for repairs, ALWAYS GET OIL CHANGES EVERY 10-15k miles, and get u a relationship with a good mechanic tht u can trust to always have work and look at it, and ALWAYS plan for the negative to be prepared to fix it easily when it does pop up just don’t dwell on it to project it to reality. That’s what I’d advise
Don't listen to them, get you a truck rental so you can go out of business faster. I am sick of seeing you weirdos on the road...
