Definitely very helpful. I've been considering starting a transportation business and, have been doing some research. Was trying to decide on either a box truck or a semi. Most of the people I know own semis and, have given me their perspective on the industry. I've talked with guys with box trucks but, they seem to be a bit reserved about giving out vital info. Inspite of that, I still gravitate more so to the box trucks because they're a little more convenient (size wise) and, seem to be in high demand so, I needed this video to help me make my decision. Thanks and much luck to you.

Thank you for the info ! quick 2 questions when filling out llc paperwork what do you put in for the description of what the company will be? and do I have to be extra specific when it comes to describing what kind of things will be transported?
First..drive for a company OTR ( over the road) to learn about the job..you dont need a CDL driving a 24-26 FT box truck. Second save money as much as u can..banks dont give finance to get a commerical vehical..when u get a loan on a box truck from a dealer..u will be paying almost 24% internest, cuz u are new to the trucking business..make sure u put warranty on it..cuz one major issue csn run cost 5k to 20k..dont buy an old truck..i mean DONT...i learnt the hard way.. Third...lease ur truck under a company..run for them till u get ur own MC and insurance..dont just get MC number and pay 1200 monthly on insurance..brokers wont use you..till your MC is at least 3 month old.. It is not bad leasing ur truck under a company..u still.can average between 1500 to 3500 a week..OTR If you like to chill at home., smoke weed and socilize..this job is not for you.. I know the video talking about local runs..these local runs are almost close to.impossible to get them..i know what i am talking about , i have been running box trucking LTL.. business for 6 years now.... Then 6 month after you save money get ur own MC and run for yourslef..Amazon relay dont pay shyt..dont believe me? Download amazon relay app now and look how much they pay per mile.. Once u have ur MC..u dont need amazon..connect with brokers and trust me u will make.some serious money.. Then get drivers with their own box trucks, let them run under ur company and MC..dispatch them for 13% Thats how excatly i started 6 years ago, now i dont.leave my house ..i own 6 box trucks and 13 runs under my company for 13% dispatch fee.. Follow these steps and u will be bad mofo at what u do.. Dont think it is easy..it is the hardest shyt u will ever experinced Peace

Sis your so welcome. Thanks for watching!
After you buy a truck, where do you park it at night? I live in a housing complex, no way to park a truck there, so where do you park it, for example in between jobs or loads or whatever?
uber freight and convoy run you day 1. great video. you did a great job explaining. net 7 is great. uber freight is 1 to 4 business days after you drop load.
Thanks for watching and sharing your knowledge!
Will Uber freight and convoy run you the same day even if it’s your first 90 days in business ?
@@rogerstanley5920 yes from experience
@@ErickaWilliamsCC thank you so much for your response I’m in Cali and thinking of getting a 26’ truck and I was told no one would hire the truck due to it being a new start up
Good info, you are right about Penske. Paid 55k for a Hino with 160k miles on it.
Thanks fam , to many times,I've been kicked down about my dreams
Glad I could help! Other people can't see your vision only you can. Keep it to yourself and get it done bro!
If your truck needs maint. Does it hurt your performance score or can you go on hiatus. Lookin at a isuzu npr diesel 16' but if it breaksdown will ya go from a A+ to F-
How many hours a day does this require with a Day Truck? Do you get to park your truck at Amazon or do you need a separate place to park?
You gave me inspiration brother...I didnt know much about box trucking ...looking forward to have my own authority
That's awesome!
Thank you for the info ! quick 2 questions when filling out llc paperwork what do you put in for the description of what the company will be? and do I have to be extra specific when it comes to describing what kind of things will be transported?
Just choose trucking and transportation keep it simple choose or write/type general freight
No lie, this video is why used hino trucks are all crazy high now
Very thorough, lots of helpful information. Really appreciate you for taking the time to put this together.
Glad it was helpful!
Demetrius, is there other Box Truck companies besides Amazon Relay that will work with new MC’s?
What is your opinion on a 2005 sterling acterra with the mercedes benz engine. We bought for 13
Decent just make sure your doing preventative maintenance.
I'm 3 months in and its a roller-coaster ride. Blessings on your endeavor bro.
Only up from here bro. Thank you blessing to you as well.
It is not bad leasing ur truck under a company..u still.can average between 1500 to 3500 a week..OTR
If you like to chill at home., smoke weed and socilize..this job is not for you..
Then get drivers with their own box trucks, let them run under ur company and MC..dispatch them for 13%
Thats how excatly i started 6 years ago, now i dont.leave my house ..i own 6 box trucks and 13 runs under my company for 13% dispatch fee..
Follow these steps and u will be bad mofo at what u do..
Dont think it is easy..it is the hardest shyt u will ever experinced
Peace
