Good stuff Raz. Just a dumb question, are any of the components you use, rotating ones, dynamically balanced? Things like the wheels, motor spindle etc. I'm not sure how small you can go balancing things, but it would conceivably cut down vibration and give a few more revs.

Hey Raz, I’m sure you have your reasons, but why haven’t you used the Hobby Wing Max 4 and run a for example, a TP 58 series on 12S? I’m not criticizing, I’m asking because I don’t know. It just seems that picking up another 4 cells worth of power would push you past your goals? If I am wrong in saying that, I’m fine with that, but maybe you could tell me why, so I can learn.
@@RazShifrin so, I am still new to the whole pushing the limits of RC thing. I melted a XLX2 with a Castle 2028 1100kv in a K8 geared 30/39, but when I dropped a max 4 with a Castle 800kv in that K8 with the same gearing, that Max4 didn’t even blink. It was barely warm. Now I know we are talking bashing vs speed runs, and 1100kv vs 800kv, but what made it a no go for you?

Hey Raz I just got my battery connectors from you all & have the xlx2 with 1100kv motor coming Monday & they are going on my xmaxx my question is on the soldering it all together how hot should I be doing it & will a 80w iron work & where should the charge be on the batteries I'm replacing connectors on when soldering or does it matter? Thanks for help. Oh ya that monster perfect pass servo is great for the xmaxx definitely happy with it!

Besides the GT body style, why go infraction over limitless? You can easily update the limitless to a GT body and you need to update the infraction body anyways.

Raz, I have been thinking about building me a little hybrid speed truggy/ jumping rig similar to what Kevin built on the Talion 6s donor car. But I would like to approach it slightly differently and just build the car fully from a chassis up, no donor car really to try and cut the costs or whatever. Just curious what you think of making a off road 100+ MPH monster.
I want to get an Arrma TLR Tuned Buggy for speed running do you think it could make some pretty good numbers? Any recommendations on pinions and motors/esc? Do any of the limitless parts fit it at all? Are there upgrades for it like carbon etc?
if you're standing on the same surface when running so fast you could damage the car by getting in its way😆 and a little elevation improves the ability to see greater distance more accurately.

its all about that max continuous wattage when you can make 9kw uncooled continuous load 18kw isn't such a stretch

Why do your cars gears sound awful when it's on the table testing the GPS?
Any plans to distribute perfect pass stuff in the UK? Interested in the servo, but not that interested to pay £194 for it due to import stuff etc. :(
