Hey Dave, Nice to meet you mate 👍 Outstanding DJI rig, excellent real footage with superb sound quality. And with the 360 on the bars, perfect combination to start the next adventure journey.
Just subscribed, I’ve had both the camera and the mic for a year now and have all but given up until seeing this video - I’ve been trying to do it using a lavalier mic in helmet and the transmitter in my pocket (unsuccessfully) Soon as we have some salt free roads I’m going to try what you done. Nice one
If you want more engine/exhaust sound, maybe it is possible to put the second microphone under the back seat near the exhaust? You get an extra audio file....
Great & informative video mate …just a quick question is it possible to transfer the video straight from the action camera to your phone(I phone) ?Best Wishes Always ❤
Such an excellent, informative video. So well done, and of course you inspired me to buy the full DJI Osmo Action 3 suite, including DJI Mic and the NDE filters. Sending you $50 for the professional consultation which saved me far more than I would have spent buying the “wrong” things. I’m now re-watching each of your setup videos so I dial in the right settings from the start. Thanks again Dave!
Well I was on the fence about my next camera for the helmet. But it's this one, that mic set up is a godsend in comparison to the absolute faff with an external recorder. Great video.
Ah my old comrade! Yes it’s superb compared to what we were using. I place the mic inside my snood and secure it with the magnet next to my mouth. It’s such a game changer. Hope you’ve settled in over there! 🇺🇸
I have never ridden on a motorbike but if I did I would keep both hands on the handle bars of the bike when going at speed. I enjoyed watching your video of the new osmo 3. Regards John, Glasgow, UK
No point for what I use the camera for. It’s got a better sensor which makes it better in low light but I don’t ride at night. The 3 is a superb camera. 👌🎥
Thanks for a great review of setting up the Osmo Action and a mic. I'm brand new to this Action Camera stuff - and the first thing I've run into is the wind noise when attempting to use the built-in mic. No surprise of course. I didn't even know it had a wind-reduction mode - but - it sounds like it doesn't really do the job anyway. My main concern with trying to use the wireless is the chunkiness of the receiver. It is small in terms of hooking to your shirt. It seems NOT small when trying to stuff into the helmet. I ended up not using a strap for the helmet mount - so I can't hook to that strap. We'll see. Thanks again for a great review!
The other thing I do with the mic transmitter is to put it inside my snood (neck warmer) next to my mouth and held in place with the supplied magnet. It works superb! The wind reduction btw is as you thought…crap!😉
For the best motor sound I usually put one wireless mic back in the "trunk" under the seat with the wind shield on. I have a strap around my medkit and it sits really tight, does not rattle and gets clean sound from the engine and exhaust. The only thing is too much water on the streets but it does not get too much water in there on the bottom. I havent really tried it but I am sure a small plastic bag would not distort the sound too much and keeps even the little water away. I still have the question whether you can connect both mics to the receiver at once or is it like a back up mic?
good info, I'm just starting out learning about equipment for filming on motorcycles. I got a used Akaso HD 1080P used for $30 and I am learning to film and edit a bit....
Hi! Intriguing to hear you say the camera is grainy? I’m wondering if it’s RUclips compression or the fact this footage was mainly shot in 25p which gives it that more of a filmic look? Anyway, the footage at my end is crystal clear and the best I’ve ever had from any action cam. I’m absolutely delighted with this setup. 👍🎥
Great vid, excellent presentation and info as always. Actually revisiting this on for the umpteenth time to see if I missed something. Is it still working for you as described. I had a few weeks success but now it's showing a red icon next to the voice activation icon, records only long beeps or intermittent short deep beeps and static or no audio at all. I fear that the stress on the connection has been too much.
Thanks a lot. I’m very surprised to hear you’re having issues. Mine has been faultless and I use it constantly still. The only time it crashed out was when the receiver terminals got dust on them from riding through a dirt track. I sprayed them with WD40 and all good again.
i think you should be able to just use the 2nd wireless mic and place that outside the helmet and record 2 seperate tracks as left and right in stereo.
your video is very good, I bought the ddji microphone with action 3, but the receiver connection to the camera seems to me to be a very fragile connection... I'm afraid of asking or the receiver falling... If you found a solution to make the receiver connection firmer, share it with us because the damage is great, if it drops rss
Great vid !!! Was looking at the action 3 with a wireless mic saw moto uk did a vid but with the Instamic Pro Plus which didn’t need the receiver but you had to sink audio up but audio was stunning !!!
Yes I love Nicks channel @motouk and totally see why he records audio separately but this system is the best of both worlds. I’m delighted with it and it has really reduced the anxiety when going out motovlogging and not having to worry about camera freezes/crashes and constant battery failure. I’ve only used it for a week but it is superb!
@@Themotograndpa if it starts to serious downpour then just unplug the receiver from the side of the camera and put the little door back on and carry on recording the sound on the transmitter to sync afterwards. That’s what I mean when I say best of both worlds. It’s actually better than using a plug in lavalier because you don’t have that option of course.
Was there any problems with the receiver detaching from your camera at higher speeds? Do you suggest any elastic band to hold it tight just in case? Great review btw
I use low cut set to on onboard the transmitter which is recording the bike sound and levels on camera and receiver all set to -10. I don’t often use two mics as I’m quite happy with the sound from the one. I’m doing a vid soon all about this though. 👍🎥
Thanks for the great video! When you filming on your motorcycle do you start recording with a remote control or don't have Dji any remote control for there action 3? And the mimo app is not available in Playstore but when you want to make fast short video's like in the GoPro quick app it isn't possible I guess? Thanks in advance
Hi Nick, I don’t bother with remotes I just stop the bike and repo the Insta 360 to different angles and then run those shots just for a few minutes. I just stop/start my chin cam as I’m passing somewhere interesting or have something to say. The GoPro app really isn’t great for editing.
My main question and concern currently is, if you plug in the DJI Mic to the Osmo Action, how rough / tough / stable is the connection between those two. Are they mounted additionally to the USB-C port? I'm afraid if not that you probably just loose the DJI mic receiver while riding. Do you think that's possible? Thanks in advance!
Hi, you’ll see in my recent vids that I now put a black elastic band around the two just in case. The connection definitely becomes looser over a period of time.
Looks like you’ve cracked it 👍 as in good pic great FOV and the sound is fab 👍 good system the DJI mic. I take it if it records within the unit in the helmet then in a rain shower you could potentially remove the unit receiver on the camera.
Yes absolutely Nick. I know you’re a fan of recording audio independently but with this system you have the best of both worlds and absolutely take the receiver off the cam in heavy rain. 👍🏍
now hold on a minute! at 3:50min you said it "clicks in nice and tight" to what? the USB C port? i would not trust a USB port to hold and extra cam equipment. 😲 please explain somebody
🤣🤣👌 Yep it does click in but as it’s raised a lot of concerns it has also made me aware, so I now put a thin elastic band around the cam and receiver.😮💨🎥
Great review, Dave! I have never watched your videos before and actually came here because I am looking for a better solution for my motorcycle filming build. I have always had wind in my footage no matter what mic I have used and I tried a few, but this setup definitely convinced me. Yea, the dji mis is expensive but its worth it. What I like a lot is how easy is to setup, right? Brilliant, brilliant. I still need to watch you newest video about this combo, but the more I watch the more I understand that I need a dji mic. One sub from me! Thank you! Btw, also like that accent of yours, its so different and pleasant to listen to.
@@mudbrats hi, it doesn’t plug straight in because it’s a 3.5mm Jack so you need that adapter (female 3.5mm to USBC) from Amazon. I haven’t tried this yet so not quite sure of the polarity needed, whether it’s a mono or stereo Jack required?
Excellent video Dave, really useful and informative. I've just given up on Gopro and gone for the Osmo Action 3 so this video is invaluable, thank you! 👍
Very informative video! Keep up the good work! Question, isn't the a risk that the microphone unit, only attached to the Osmo Achtion 3 by USB-C, comes loose and will be lost??? And when the camera is used with HorizonBalancing or HorizonSteady, is in that case Rocksteady also working, or is in that case Rocksteady disabled? Thanks!!!
Thanks Paul and two good questions. It does seem to actually CLICK into place so I’m not too worried but if I was going on a bit of a trip I’d probably place a rubber band or similar just in case. Yes, when horizon steady is activated the rock steady is still engaged to keep it smooth. Works a treat. 👍🏍🎥
After your video I have bought the Osmo Action 3, and now I’m having it set-up for the first ride tomorrow. But what I can’t find in the menu is how to change the FOV, from standard to wide and to ultra wide. How do I change these? Can you please help me?? Thank you very much!!!!!
@@Paulschen100 sure no probs Paul. On the back screen you will see what looks like two slider bars on the right hand side of the screen and half way down. Tap that and you will see a menu which is called FOV. Tap that again to make your selection. 👍🎥
Wheelie Dave...Just came across your channel while surfing!-lol. Just received OA3 few days ago & am wondering if should invest in DJI Mic. Seeing that I won't be shooting/narrating footage like yours, am still Up in the Air. IMO....Much rather prefer audio b4 20mins change over. To me, everything after 20:00 contains too much background noise. But maybe, it's just me?!....BTW....Aloha from Hawaii!
Hello, Thanks for your video. It is very detailed and well presented. I have a question, is it possible to use DJI mic receiver during rain while connected to Action 3? Thank you.
Many thanks, I have been caught in the rain a few times and it’s been ok but I wouldn’t recommend it because the input is an electrical connection. What I do then is simply use the mic transmitter which records the sound independently within the unit and sync it up In the edit later allowing me to put the rubber cover back over the camera input. Hope that makes sense. 🙏🎥
Hi! Great video. I have the DJI mics and am thinking of getting the Action 3 for cycling videos. How secure is the connection turn between the two when it’s just plugged in the USB C port? Have you ever lost the receiver!? Or is it very secure? Thanks.
Hi, yes it’s not totally waterproof. I’ve ridden in heavy rain for two hrs and surprisingly it all still worked but I was doing it to try and get it to fail. I think if I was to do a tour in the future I’ll put some sort of protection like blu tak or similar mouldable plastic over the join.
Great setup ! Thanks for this very cokm video ! I'm considering leaving gopro and find another setup such as this one. Question on the dji mic : Could you use the 2nd mic to record the engine of the bike only for example by putting it under the saddle ? Would use the first mic to record voice and 2nd to record engine. What do you think ? And is there any easy way to sync both sources in post production without the "clap" trick ? Could be an option to have the best world ?
Yep I do that all the time now. You don’t need to record and sync as the sound goes straight on to your video track. You just have the ability to record separately if you want. It’s all very user friendly. 👍🎥
@@WheelieGoodTV thanks my friend for sharing experience ! no issue with the magnet system on the camera on the helmet is it strong enough when riding on the highway for example ?
@@WheelieGoodTV please try and make a video if time permits.. I am just waiting for new batch of action 3 to be on safer side to avoid focus issue.. Hi Dave, when you purchased the DJI Cosmo action 3 and the DJI wireless microphone, ( thats every single item you refer to in the video), did it come all inclusive in the adventure combo kit? I just can't find a company retailing the whole system complete as one? Thanks, Martyn.
Great stuff Dave! I have the dji mic and my osmo action three is on its way. I'll be doing some mountain bike vlogging and I'll have to give this set up a go. Liked and subscribed!
So “Moto feelz” puts is 2nd mic in his backpack and it picks up the motorcycle noise you’re wanting more of. I also noticed you have a lot of motion blur which “moto feelz” fixed with changing some settings. I just got this setup and I’m testing it too. I’m using “moto feelz” settings to test it out. He even has a video on “night settings so check it out. @motofeelz on RUclips had a lot of great advise on using this setup for motovlogging. Now I just need to get my motorcycle back from the shop so I can’t test it all out. Should have it back this week as they were just doing some basic maintenance stuff to the bike. Great video by the way. I didn’t know the mics had a magnet on them to clip it inside the shirt!!! That’s an awesome feature. Still trying to figure out the best way to mount my microphone inside my home it so that it doesn’t fall out. I think I have a solution I’m just waiting on a part to come in so I can try it.
Hi Steve, the mic is built into the wireless transmitter so I just stick it inside the helmet behind the straps for the camera mount. No wires anymore. 😜👍
@@WheelieGoodTV Hi Dave excuse the ignorance so audio is recorded on the receiver, downloaded from that matched to the footage? Thx for your patience 👍
Hello Dave thank for sharing the video, it made me firm up my mind to buy this product, here i have a question about that chin mount you have on the helmet, will it to avoid mirror closing?
Like you I’ve had enough of GoPro and tbh I was about to pull the trigger on an Insta RS…..fortunately I’ve just seen your video. Cheers for sharing Dave, you’ve saved me a few quid as I shall be opting for this setup 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really like my Osmo Action 3, but need to go out driving with it even more if only weather could be warmer with no rain. I tried the Cynova adapter but it didn't work, but I will get usb-c mic adapter tomorrow (I hope) so it will probably work. DJI Mic is a bit too expensive, but the sound is amazing.
I agree that the cost of the total setup is a bit pricey but the two together is not much more than the new GoPro by itself and then you need a mic and media mod etc. if you want simplicity and 100% reliability then this is the best option.
I don’t have the action 3, but aren’t you concerned that the mic receiver will come off the camera as it is only attached by the usb c port Was thinking about upgrading to the osmo 3 for the boat, but worried that vibration will cause them to seperate.
Thanks a lot for the video! i have one question for you. Can you mount the Dji Mic the other way around, i mean with the display facing in front? i ask you this because my action 3 chin mount is very close to the helmet and i'm pretty sure that how you mounted won't fit my helmet. Thanks and liked
Hi Rocco, I’ve just received your message and promptly checked that fact and yes you can. It’s a better fit if you remove the rubber ring from around the lens but still works either way. I would prefer to use a standard action cam (GoPro piece) plastic extension on your mount to push the camera further out and keep the sound module where you can see the flashing meters rather than not see at all though. Just my thoughts. Cheers
@@WheelieGoodTV thanks a lot Dave i'm gonna buy the Dji Mic for sure then! Have you tried to put a second trasmitter for sound engine only? 😊 If so, where and how it worked out?
@@roccobarone9 I have and it works great. I clipped it on to a brake line in front of the tank and protected from wind by being behind the screen. I aimed it down towards the air induction and it sounds superb.
@@WheelieGoodTV last question for you: 🙂Are you using for both mic, the one in your helmet and the one behind the screen, the windscreens on the mics, and what mode is better to register if you are vlogging (1th mic) and engine sound (2nd mic) mono or stereo? which of these two options is the better choice in terms of easy to use in editing?
How robust is the connection between the mic and the camera, will it withstand a lot of vibration without falling out? E.g. we do a lot of cycling videos and the cameras get shaken around a lot
I have taken to putting a rubber band around the camera/receiver. I have noticed the connection doesn’t quite click after owning it nearly a year. All still works superbly though. Love it. 👌
Hey Dave , great vid and awesome setup , would just like to know if this setup is waterproof and how does it perform at speeds between 100-120 kmph , thanks
Hi Christopher, I can’t vouch for it being waterproof although I rode for 3 hrs in torrential rain with the mic attached and no problems. It works perfectly at that speed though, and above.😜🏍
Hi ! great review! I have a question coming from someone with zero exp. with any of this stuff: If I were to hard mount one of the receivers inside the helmet, and then decided to unplug the OA3, and get off the bike and start vlogging regularly. Could I then use the other receiver for that purpose? how would the audio pair with the camera? I hope that makes sense.. With kind regards.
Thanks for the tech input. I’ve ordered the mic set. Looks like dji are going to kick GoPro in the nuts again. For me, even with the slight reduction in video quality of the action 3 , it makes up for it in its usability and RELIABILITY. Can’t wait to try the mics out, even putting one in a back pack for exhaust audio etc. would I guess add to the overall video feel. 👍
Hi Dave! I have little problem capturing nice and crisp exhaust, and engine sound with my dji set up. I have tested it on my indian scout bobber so far, which is extremely loud. And when I watch my footage, I think my transmitter is having trouble capturing the exhaust sound because it is too loud. What settings should I use in order to make it better. And what does this gain settings do?
Hi. Start by turning the gain in the transmitter and receiver both down to -12 and also the gain in the camera down to -12. Also turn on bass cut in the receiver menu for the transmitter. Start with these settings which are extreme and work back from there. Don’t place the mic too close to the exhaust either. Try with it placed on the neck of your jacket at the rear then start working closer depending on results. This is all about trial and error depending on bike. 👍🎥
Thanks for the video . Just taken delivery of the mics and the quality is top notch . Can’t wait to try on the bike . With the new software and -12 db now available to be set on the camera A3 , what are your settings for audio now , when out on the bike ? 👍
Just for input for other motovloggers searching for this, apart from using the wireless mics that have internal gain control, I don't currently see how to get good audio on the Osmo Action 3 for motovlogging. Even with the firmware update allowing you to set gain down to -12db, the signal is too hot for any of the many wired lavaliers I've tried. If I want to use this for motovlogging (because like many of you, I'm sick of GoPro) currently this setup seems to be the only option.
great video! after over a year, do you still say the mic clicks in nice and solid and can withstand high speeds? I want to use this setup for paragliding and I am so afraid of losing the mic when mounted on top of my helmet. what would you say? thanks and greetings from Austria, Max.

Would recommend film try 4k 60fps, I find it just makes the image crisper and the hedges flying by
Great info on this video thanks.
Hi, good idea. Yes you can connect both mics to the receiver at once. This is the whole idea of this system.
good info, I'm just starting out learning about equipment for filming on motorcycles. I got a used Akaso HD 1080P used for $30 and I am learning to film and edit a bit....
Good man Patrick. Everyone has to start somewhere bud.
Can you make a review between the DJI Action 3 and any Samsung phone in low light?
The camera is very grainy but the dji mic is fantastic you could have been in a studio great video my friend 😁👍👌🇬🇧
Very interesting and informative nice one mate
Appreciate that George. 🙏🏍
Exactly the video I was looking for, thanks! Great set up! cheers
Great video 👍
Can you tell me how to remove the lid for the usb c port? Thanks
Thanks Bin, you just open stand pull it off.
@@WheelieGoodTV thank you so much!🙏
❤thanks because of you im buying both mic and osmo action 3 now
You won’t regret it. It’s a superb system!👌🎥🏍
Excellent vlog Dave now time to chose which camera to get keep up the great work cheers Glenn.
Cheers Glenn. Another one about this camera coming tomorrow night for the real nerds!🤣🤪🏍
Can we just talk about how bad ass that bike is?! Lol! And that shirt is amazing. You change cameras more than I change my knickers. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
your video is very good, I bought the ddji microphone with action 3, but the receiver connection to the camera seems to me to be a very fragile connection... I'm afraid of asking or the receiver falling... If you found a solution to make the receiver connection firmer, share it with us because the damage is great, if it drops rss
Hi, yes I just but a rubber band around the camera and receiver now just to be sure. Works perfectly. 👌🎥
@@WheelieGoodTV would you say that the best setup then ? Would just worry if using it if raining ?
@@Themotograndpa if it starts to serious downpour then just unplug the receiver from the side of the camera and put the little door back on and carry on recording the sound on the transmitter to sync afterwards. That’s what I mean when I say best of both worlds. It’s actually better than using a plug in lavalier because you don’t have that option of course.
Was there any problems with the receiver detaching from your camera at higher speeds?
Do you suggest any elastic band to hold it tight just in case?
Great review btw
Never a problem Ryan but yes I put a thin elastic band around both just in case now. 👌
I was wondering what settings you have on your receiver and camera when using the second mic to record engine noise?
I use low cut set to on onboard the transmitter which is recording the bike sound and levels on camera and receiver all set to -10. I don’t often use two mics as I’m quite happy with the sound from the one. I’m doing a vid soon all about this though. 👍🎥
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks for the reply.. Looking forward to your video on the subject. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻😎
now hold on a minute!
at 3:50min you said it "clicks in nice and tight"
to what? the USB C port? i would not trust a USB port to hold and extra cam equipment. 😲
please explain somebody
Thanks buddy! Appreciate the kind words.👍🙏
i would like to know the best wired lav mic for the Action 3??? wireless wont work for me
The best wired mic is made by Sanken and the model is the Cos 11. It’s pricey though.
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks so much! Does it plug right in USBC or what adapter do you recommend?
@@mudbrats hi, it doesn’t plug straight in because it’s a 3.5mm Jack so you need that adapter (female 3.5mm to USBC) from Amazon. I haven’t tried this yet so not quite sure of the polarity needed, whether it’s a mono or stereo Jack required?
how is the magnet power in high speed camera safety for motovloging
It sort of clicks in and hasn’t even come loose yet. Sometimes on longer journeys I’ve put a small rubber band around it just to be sure.
thanks big brother for replying
I have ordered one after your recommendation

Excellent video Dave, really useful and informative. I've just given up on Gopro and gone for the Osmo Action 3 so this video is invaluable, thank you! 👍
You won’t regret the move! It’s changed my life. 👌👍🙏
@@WheelieGoodTV Found it, Thank you very much!!!!!!
Have a good eventing!
These videos are GOLD! Thanks!
And thanks for watching bud!
Thanks Harry! Still testing different scenarios but one thing for sure is this system is amazing!
Hello! Can you record with one the voice and the second one the engine sound ?
Yes you can. I’ve been experimenting with this and it works perfectly even though it’s a bit more work in the edit.
Hello,
Thanks for your video. It is very detailed and well presented. I have a question, is it possible to use DJI mic receiver during rain while connected to Action 3?
Thank you.
Many thanks, I have been caught in the rain a few times and it’s been ok but I wouldn’t recommend it because the input is an electrical connection. What I do then is simply use the mic transmitter which records the sound independently within the unit and sync it up
In the edit later allowing me to put the rubber cover back over the camera input. Hope that makes sense. 🙏🎥
@@WheelieGoodTV thank you so much! Idea of having inbuilt audio recording in microphone is fantastic one.🤝.
Hi! Great video. I have the DJI mics and am thinking of getting the Action 3 for cycling videos. How secure is the connection turn between the two when it’s just plugged in the USB C port? Have you ever lost the receiver!? Or is it very secure? Thanks.
It is secure but I but a thin elastic band around the two just to be sure now.
Thanks for the video) What about rain though?
Can we use voice command to start and stop recording without taking off helmet if you could try with and without mic
Good question Ronin. I haven’t tried it yet with this setup but it does work with the Insta 360 cameras. I must try it with this.
@@WheelieGoodTV please try and make a video if time permits.. I am just waiting for new batch of action 3 to be on safer side to avoid focus issue..
It would be a game changers Coz its difficult to take of tight helmet press recording and wear helmet plus have to edit the video too 😁. I think by opening the visor it should work provided it differentiates between surrounding noice
Hi Dave, when you purchased the DJI Cosmo action 3 and the DJI wireless microphone, ( thats every single item you refer to in the video), did it come all inclusive in the adventure combo kit? I just can't find a company retailing the whole system complete as one? Thanks, Martyn.
Hi Martyn, no you have to buy them separately.
Great stuff Dave! I have the dji mic and my osmo action three is on its way. I'll be doing some mountain bike vlogging and I'll have to give this set up a go.
Liked and subscribed!
Thanks mate. It’s a very fancy setup for mountain biking and will work superbly. Enjoy.
I think I have a solution I’m just waiting on a part to come in so I can try it.
getting one xmas nice vid
Hi Dave great video. Can you advise what product you use to connect the mic to the camera assuming its a cable 🙂
Hi Tianfan. The chin mount still allows the visor to close no problem on my helmet. 👌
Thank you Dave for response me so quickly, it helps me a lot!
This video was a great help thanks bro
Welcome mate.
You won’t regret it. It’s the best setup I’ve used to date and I haven’t even scratched the surface of its capabilities yet. You’re welcome and enjoy.
Thank's For sharing 🤩👍 Great video test
I really like my Osmo Action 3, but need to go out driving with it even more if only weather could be warmer with no rain.
I tried the Cynova adapter but it didn't work, but I will get usb-c mic adapter tomorrow (I hope) so it will probably work. DJI Mic is a bit too expensive, but the sound is amazing.
I agree that the cost of the total setup is a bit pricey but the two together is not much more than the new GoPro by itself and then you need a mic and media mod etc. if you want simplicity and 100% reliability then this is the best option.
I don’t have the action 3, but aren’t you concerned that the mic receiver will come off the camera as it is only attached by the usb c port
Was thinking about upgrading to the osmo 3 for the boat, but worried that vibration will cause them to seperate.
Hi. No it sort of clicks in and is quite solid. On a longer ride recently I put a small rubber band around the two units just to be sure though.
Wheelie~ like~yu created epic job! )
Cheers!!
But what if you are on a long ride and don't want to swap batteries? Osmo action one had the mic adapter with power pass thru.
I’m sure that little adapter will be coming soon for this camera. No doubts about that.
@@WheelieGoodTV I hope so 😎😉
Hi ! great review!
Hi, yes you can. You can mute either transmitter by selecting them on the receiver. Both transmitters pair instantly so no need to worry about that.
@@WheelieGoodTV Thank you!
Great Info! Thanks!
Welcome bud.🙏🏍
Thanks for the video . Just taken delivery of the mics and the quality is top notch . Can’t wait to try on the bike . With the new software and -12 db now available to be set on the camera A3 , what are your settings for audio now , when out on the bike ? 👍
Any news for best input gain in the action 3 Menü?
Just for input for other motovloggers searching for this, apart from using the wireless mics that have internal gain control, I don't currently see how to get good audio on the Osmo Action 3 for motovlogging. Even with the firmware update allowing you to set gain down to -12db, the signal is too hot for any of the many wired lavaliers I've tried. If I want to use this for motovlogging (because like many of you, I'm sick of GoPro) currently this setup seems to be the only option.
Good point!
Have you figured anything out?
great video! after over a year, do you still say the mic clicks in nice and solid and can withstand high speeds? I want to use this setup for paragliding and I am so afraid of losing the mic when mounted on top of my helmet. what would you say? thanks and greetings from Austria, Max.
Hi Max. No it doesn’t clip in tight any more so I bought a bag of black rubber bands from Amazon and wrap one around the setup just to be sure.
what you suggest between gopro 11 and dji action 3 for motovloging
DJI wins in every way.
