How to Get Approved for a Scat Pack: 6 Ways to Improve Your Chances of Getting Approved!!!

- In this video I talk about the 6 things to greatly improve your chances of getting approved for a Dodge Charger Scat Pack (or ANY car)! There’s no specific amount of money down or credit score, but these are the things I’ve seen increase chances for customers I’ve helped.
1. Payment to Income (PTI). Also your total debt to income can be an important deciding factor for banks. If you have a ton of debt in comparison to your income, it can affect your auto approval (especially if you have too many late payments)
2. Time at residence/job
3. Credit utilization
4. Money down
5. Credit Score
6. Payment history/paying bills on time: pay a few days before due date if possible. Never pay any bill more than 30 days after the due date because it’s reported to the credit bureaus as a late payment
I’m so jealous hearing my father tell me stories of how he walked into dealerships, in his 20s, with a bag of cash and bought a new mustang and trans am. He never made a lot of money. Somehow things were affordable then. Now it’s just a hassle.
Definitely a different time then 👍

I’m 20 and have a 741. I put 10 down on a 37K used scat pack, charger, 27K miles, got approved in 5 minutes and later drove it off the lot. Payments right under 700 a month. Credit’s unfortunately one of the biggest non taught and spoke of things, which is a shame.
Scammed.
@@rashaundwyer6263 how?
how is your credit so good but your payment is so high on $27k loan? is your interest rate high?
I'll guess high interest rate or short term to pay off faster
Shoulda financing with a credit union
My credit score was 600 I put 15k down my payments on my widebody scatpack $700 & the total on my scatpack was 57k full price
700 with insurance or without ?
Damn you got robbed
You got approved with a 600 credit score?
@@youonlylivetoexist & I put 15k down save your money up regardless if you got decent credit score
@@skoluh brah y’all gotta understand dodge stop making these cars so your payments not going to be cheap unless you put 20k down with high credit score

Wow 😮. Whatever makes you happy there 😅
@@driveawaywithnate Hope he took out gap insurance with that predatory interest rate.
😂😂
I've never given money down for a car I get approved so quick and I always have more than 1000 debt on my credit car when I get a card. It's all about how much you make the bank want to know if you are able to afford the car so it doesn't matter how good your credit is if you dont make enough money it's more likely that you are going to get rejected
Spot on
You can make all the money but a 400ish is going to be hard to get a bank to say yes also
@@driveawaywithnate I wouldn't say that my aunt had low credit score and they denied her a car loan because she wasnt making enough money not because her credit score. When you have bad credit score all they do is give you high interest rate thats it.
@@driveawaywithnate that only thing is that you can't have any degoratory marks on your credit score If you have low credit score because they also check what's the reason you have low credit score.
@@driveawaywithnate my step dad had bad credit when he got his house because in the past he didn't pay credit cards but the reason it help him getting a home loan was that we had to open an account with more than 10k of money with that that bank was able to give him a loan. It all about if you can afford to pay back the loan.
As long as you got the money you’ll be good screw a “credit score” not everyone will have trust in banks.
In my opinion the best way is to just get financed through your credit union if your banked with navy fed/USAA and walk right in and flash them that check 😁 then you would just owe the bank not the dealership 🤷🏾♂️ that’s my plan at least
Sometimes yes but only if the rate is a lot lower than the dealership. Also if there’s no incentives to finance with the dealership by all means. Whichever makes the most sense financially
Great info dude! 🚙💨
Thank you!
Best advice finance thru a credit union, got a 2019 59k miles scat pack with 9500 down payments under 500
how old are u bro, i’m about to turn 18 in october and i already have 10k to put down
u think they’ll give me the same monthly payment?
26, It just all depends on your credit and if the history good if not get a co signer. But still go thru a bank or credit union

So how much did you have to put down ? I just want the pups package an sunroof that’s it they said I need 6 k I’m at 5rn
U bought a widebody scat for under 60k😮
Must b nice to work at the dealership and not get taxed like us regular folk
This was in 2021 and the prices have went up. I got taxed the same as the regular folk 🥹
I have a 675 cs and I’ll be putting about 20k down for a jailbreak. That’s how bad I want one.
I saw this video and your other cool one on your payments, insurance, and gas just yesterday. Then this morning RUclips recommended I watch another one of OCMotivator's video on him taking delivery and driving 2000 miles home to California his new 2021 Indigo Blue Scat Pack Charger from Missouri. I had no idea that he bought the car from YOU! 😂 Congrats on that sale and great job! When I get things in order and I'm ready to buy, based on his experience and referral, I know who to seek out first. 👍😎
Edit: I love the information you provide in this video, but it would've been 💯 times better if the car wasn't idling indoors and drowning you out. Would love for you to do an updated video without the background noise. 👍
Thank you for this video 😄. Did the math, I definitely cannot afford a scat pack lmao. Only can afford a 140$ a month payment with the 10% rule.
Maybe someday in the future I can, not right now.
One day!!! 💯
I have a 850 credit score and over 100k in the bank last month I bought my 1st charger
2013 5.7 V8 supercharged police car 76,000 miles $14k.
I’m having a blast I love that car. Point is you can have fun where your at financially find a charger you can afford enjoy that.
10% rule is ridiculous unless you have a house, tons of other bills and a family. Enjoy yourself, I have two scats and make shit for money. I just have crazy good credit. I’m gonna sell one down the line and make money off of it. They’re an investment now since they discontinued them..
@@carlosmark9840 can I have some

Do you know when’s they close the date to order a 2022 scatpack widebody ? I want to order one in the beginning of September but idk if they stopped accepting orders
I don’t know when they will close it but you can still as of now order a 2022
I couldn’t hear shit tbh
Appreciate the feedback. I’m buying a mic! Thanks for commenting 2ss Boy
What’s the process and estimated monthly payment to lease a wide body scat?
You go into the dealership and pick one out and do your credit application there. Estimated monthly payment VARIES WIDELY because there are many more tiers of credit than traditional financing and also if you put money down. You can get it around $300-400 if you put a ton of money down and I’ve seen them as high as 900+. Best advice is to fill out an application
Pay cash cash cash
Paying cash pro is you don’t have payments. Con would be it doesn’t build up your auto credit
Nice ride....
Thank you
Just go in and ask for truth in lending down payment is cool if you just wanna give money away but it’s a law that states you don’t need a down payment

Bullshit they don’t care about credit they don’t care about you switching jobs every 5 months as long as your income there and your car loan for I would say at least 9-11 months close to a year if not a year your approved they just wanna know u can pay there looking at your car auto history payments not your credit why u think ppl with 550 fico scores get approved because they made there payments on time they just got really bad credit 😂😂😂
I’ve seen people make $100k or more on paper get denied because the were sub prime so depends on the dealership and their connection or relationship with their lenders
What if I have no co-signer n decent credit
If you have decent credit the bank will look at what you being in monthly gross. As long as your Scat Pack payment to income ratio fits in the parameters 👍
@@driveawaywithnate i found a 09 srt8 for 23k if my credit score is at 685 and 710 you think I can finance it with 3-4K down payment?

How much would a good down payment be ?
6200, thats what im planning for my widebody scat pack challenger
I’d say at least $2k
say if i have a current charger that i owe more money then owed , i want to trade it in with 10k down for a 2015-2017 scat pack , my credit is 600+ . i make 3k a month . what are my chances?
That’s tough with you being upside down in your trade. Depends on how much the scat is also. You can try…
@@driveawaywithnate the highest im going is 30k , i cant put the 10k towards the down payment for car and the under water ammount ? im not goin over 30 k wether its a daytona charger , scat or srt8 or rt

i’m looking into buying a wide body scat (used) i’ve been using my credit card for gas and small things. im 18 but i have 20k cash you think i have a shot at getting approved?
If you’ve never had a car loan before even with $20k down and being 18 a bank may still not approve you unless you have a strong co-signer and you have a great job. Just my opinion but you won’t know until you apply somewhere
Don’t put more than 5k down. Save that 20k and invest it to flip it or just live off of it for the time being
@@GloomToon I agree. It's amazing what some people will do for a car to get that "automotive high" and all the attention, but all at the cost of investing in their future where they can buy cars like this with cash or better financing. I personally think it would be better for the young person to buy a cheaper car like Nate says he did to build his credit, work history, and bank account up for a few years, and then be able buy whatever he wants with a 700+ cs and better approval changes.
Scats are not all that they fun to drive once you crash that’s yo ass
What do you think is a good enough down payment ?
Depending on credit some people do a couple grand and sometimes people do way more. Then some do nothing! 😂
Credit is so stupid…like why did Americans make that a thing…you can have 300k in the bank and still have a hard time getting stuff cause credit…almost like a social status
look at majority of the comments lol. people making 30k a year wanting a 70k car living above their needs this how u keep them in check 😹
I make about 5k monthly and been employed for close to 3 years, I’d be willing to put down roughly 15k and credit score is 700. What kind of monthly payments would I would be looking at most likely for the scat pack?
Have you ever had a car loan before? Depends on where you get tiered at and the interest rate.
What are my chances if I put 6k down with a 617 credit in a good trade in
anybody let you know yet?
Ive got not credit history but can put 12k down do you think I could get the key
With no credit history you may need a cosigner and the money down and possibly have a shot
Can we get a better sound to actually understand 😒
I think I’ll redo this video!

So ive been thinking about putting down 15-20k for a normal scat im also been in the military for about 3 years and currently making 2k a month plus im 23 and have 0 credit? What are my chances? Im pretty sure imma have to build my credit up first tho
You may have a shot with that much down and being at a steady job in the military. But if you have absolutely no credit it definitely doesn’t help no say try it!

@@trehundobeatz6359 Did you buy a house with cash or was it given to you? 🤔 Otherwise, how do you have a mortgage but have zero credit? It makes no sense because if you have a loan, you have a credit score. Btw, your military housing or housing allowance doesn't count as YOU having your own house, as that property belongs to DOD or whomever you lease from. Have you ever been approved for an auto loan and made consistent payments?
@@driveawaywithnate no never have. You think if I have a good co signer with a 690 credit score for a 54k used scat widebody after I talk em down to 49k I was gone put 2k down after that because it would get me right at the payments I wanted would they approve me for that at the dealership?
@@SRT_JuJu if you never have had a car loan you’ll most likely need a co-signer. Also I highly doubt the dealership will let you talk them down $5k on a used vehicle. They price them online all competitively these days. Do a search on cars.com or Autotrader and make sure their price is comparable to a similar with same mileage and year of the car
@@SRT_JuJu with a co-signer with that score and if their job history looks good you may have a shot. But it also heavily depends on what you do for work as well if you’ll get approved
