You really give great advise to your viewers. Same advise I give to my sons. My 2nd oldest just bought a new car for the very 1st time. He just turned 21. He got a Corolla. He listened to my advise and got a CC and only used it for gas and paid it off every payday. He had a 760 score after just 1 year of having a credit card. He had a good down payment and didn't need a cosigner.

@@ruthlessrampag319 Correct. Prior to that his credit score was zero. He had no credit history. Every payday he paid it off. It took 3-4 months and he had a credit score. I about 12 months of doing that he had a 760. After he bought the car it dropped into the 740s. But, as long as that gets paid on time and he keeps doing the same process on the credit card it will go back up and likely higher.

I see so some many of my homies and dudes from my school literally living just to pay for their car. They can’t even enjoy life because they paying over $1200 a month (gas insurance note). Anyone can buy these cars but being able to afford one is a different story. Life too short to have 90% of your income going to a car but we all have different wants in life so do what makes you happy💯

Yo I’m a bit late bro but I definitely understand and relate to a lot things you pointed out. Bro I’m just as excited to get my scat pack Charger which will be delivered in 2 weeks. I won’t lie it was a long 16 weeks waiting for just a delivery date but as a 21 year old it taught me a lot of patience. Also I learned how to invest and save which was very helpful, but chasing my dream of getting that car this year was something I had to accomplish no cap. Respect to you btw💯

Good tip at the end about banks credit score check . That’s true dealerships will probably try to get the most from doing the credit check banking that you were talking about . I’m planning to get a 2021 Dodge Charger wide body scat pack this week . I’m going to order it online and have it ship to my local store with customized interior package

Good advice. GET A JOB! Something so many young people don't want to do. You can't be lazy and sleep all day and expect to have money in your pockets. I told my son that a long time ago and he works and go to college. Now he's 25 with almost 25,000 in his savings account and his credit is like 720. It is not hard, just realize that nothing is handed to you in this world unless you are just born into money.

ROKU paid for most of my Challenger. I bought stock at $35/share sold it at $160, now $226/sh
Putting down a nice down payment is great for your monthly payments and all but if you get the loan from your own bank you can stretch it out a lot longer and make the payment lower with no money down like I did with NFCU, these scats and cats ain’t losing value no time soon so it’ll still be worth a lot by the time you pay it off

Some things don’t make sense I went to a local Dodge dealership was ready to put down 12,000 for a used 2018 hellcat charger after all was said and done I was told my monthly would be 900$ .. with gas and insu 1200-1500 Monthly for a “car” is ridiculous… my credit score is 824 and still couldn’t get the payment down .. (I’m in ca) invest your money in property cars depreciate and spending 1500 a month on just a car is a waste of your hard earned money.
Cali laws are 💩 anyways. I’m looking at a duplex right now. Really thinking about leasing a car a year too
For the younger generation, if u still live at home with ur parents u should be golden. If ur in ur early 20s be prepared to not move out until ur pushing almost 30.

im 17, and i have a 2021 charger scat pack. i work at a local fast food restaurant and im making 16/hr. i saved every penny i had since i was helping my dad at 15. i put 25% percent of the car down because i wanted the lowest monthly payment possible. my parents have a 760 credit score and they co-signed with me. i still live with my parents but it is very important that you be resposible so that you dont end up putting yourself in a hole.

Good pointers. But tbh you want to save and have your own place before buying one. I know several folks who own scats and live with their parents. But no hate cause in the city rent is higher than a mortgage.
Also you don't want to do 72 month loans. That's a bill you have to pay for 6 years plus full coverage. Everything else with saving and having good credit is spot on. I hope to save and buy an SS whenever I get over 5k
You can do 72 months for lower interest . And the letter will be lower . You can pay more on the monthly to pay it off faster

I mean if you're a rich kid then that's different but if you're a working kid don't spend your whole check on a car and gas but you can't enjoy all the other things in life with your friends. Young men; most cars are depreciating assets and to put this noose around your neck is a bad idea. At 21, it's a fair assumption that you have not reached your peak earning potential ( translation: you're working minimum to barely above minimum wage jobs ) so go to school and learn a trade and develop a vocation; your time will come. I waited YEARS to finally afford my scat widebody that's on order; (1) paid off my MBA (2) purchased my 2/2 condo that is 1.5 miles from the beach at 15ft above sea-level and now FINALLY (3) getting the car that I want; my age is 55; that's a LONG time young bucks.

That’s good. And let them know “ I want a loan for a car and see the rates”. Go to the dealership 1st and get the final # of the car and bring it to the bank so they can get you started for the loan
Once you get approved they’ll give you the check. Go to the dealership & ask for their apr %s WITHOUT running your credit. More than likely your bank has a better rate 👍🏼

Do not co-sign for no charger co-signing is BS get a load pay it back don’t spend the money just pay the load off to build your credit up put down $5,000 or $10,000 cash💰 and don’t keeping going to different dealerships it will impact your credit
Co-signing is a option someone could do. And you can go to different dealerships just ask them for there rates and #’s and get approved through YOUR bank recommended credit union as stated in my video ✊🏾

Hey my man I have a question. I want a scat pack built custom made and it comes out to 53 K. I’m not sure if I will get approved to get the car. Rn my credit score is a 700 flat. I payed off a car loan I had in a year from getting it so I have car credit history for one full year available. Rn I’m a college student and I’m working a normal wage job that pays me about 16 an hour which yearly it would be about 30k. And I got 10k down to give. Do you think that with all of this I can get the car financed myself ? I don’t want a co signer
You definitely getting approved
You prolly wouldn’t even have to put that 10k down
You should get approved. Only thing you should worry about is your annual income. Other than that it’s yours. Go to other dealerships if one of them isn’t working out. And if none of them do just be patient. Look into used vehicles with not so much miles you can go that route. Let us know how it goes!

Have to stop in and ask. That might be enough money for you to work with them because it’s a lot of money putting down. But that no credit and no co signer gonna bite you. If they do accept you your APR will be super high and f u with a long term loan that you’ll be paying more in interest. But keep window shopping bro and good luck 💯

I know some ppl who can actually live and pay for this car (Car payment and insurance and the up keep) and enjoy life…. TOO MANY FOOLS are also going out here getting this car and don’t have anything to show in life but this car. Next year, I’ll get this car after getting into my home and having a place to keep my (future) scat sheltered from the weather. Currently I have a Destroyer Gray Challenger SXT…. Not ashamed of it. It’s a beautiful car, but soon I’ll upgrade both living situation and car situation.
