Driving a Charger Scat Pack Widebody was one of the most fun experiences of my life. IMO the stock exhaust sounds perfect, especially in track mode. Definitely quick for the size of car. The widebody looks great on the Charger. I got lots of looks around the San Diego beaches, and lots of people asking me to rev it. Unfortunately one of these doesn't fit into my current lifestyle, but next I travel somewhere I'm renting a Hellcat lol. Overall it's really fun, and I hope that many more people get a chance to experience a V8 muscle car at least once.
I've owned a ton of different vehicles over my lifetime. My 19' Charger Scat Pack is hands down my favorite car I've owned to date. One of the most comfortable cars to drive too. These are fantastic road trip vehicles. It's too bad the interior gets so much hate, I guess I understand it. Dodge updated the door panel and dashboard material in 2019 on the Plus Group models with nicer leather wrapped material, which looks and feels nicer. I've definitely driven cars with much worse interior spaces.

Nothing can beat the sound of that amazing 6.4L V8, and it's still amazing that Stellantis still offers this car with that V8, absolute bravo to them for still making something like this in this day and age~ Muscle car V8 engines just have that raw sound to them that turbocharged V8s just simply cannot match. The sound alone is enough to buy the Charger alone, although this thing still looks amazing as well. So I'd buy it for the sound and looks too :) And also 15 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway is actually not that bad for this kind of car. That ZF 8-speed automatic too is perfect for this engine~~
This morning I was chasing a scatpack charger in my 07 camry hybrid. When I caught up to him after a few lights it was a different vehicle. We cried laughing 😂😂
That’s the beauty of the 23 chargers and challengers, they have been making them so long, they have truly dialed them in perfectly, great build tolerances, they really worked out the kinks. These cars just work 💪
No dodge should keep making muscle cars in opinion. Other car brands are switching to electric and I believe dodge will shine more if it keeps making muscle car production.
I drive a 2023 sublime green scat pack an I still get excited when I see another one on the road with me I’ll pass my exit home just to continue to ride with them looks good when your lined up with another one
It still spun the tires even without that supercharger, the scar pack is the perfect balance between daily drivability and performance whenever you want it, I'm sure it can go quicker than 4.4 to 60 I think 4.1 is possible with the prepped surface like a dragstrip, anyway, it's awesome, I would take thus kver the m340i anyday, yes the interior is better but the v8 can't beat it, when you in a rush put it in sport and she's coming for you

You can compare a Charger to a BMW 3 series, they couldn't be any more different, BMW is all about zen and luxury and revolutionizing you're driving experience, a Dodge Charger is pretty much the opposite of that. The Charger is a muscle car, fast car with a simple formula, no gimmicks, no compromises, just a big sedan with an even bigger motor. And if 6.4 liters still isn't enough for your muscle car, you can get the Hellcat, 6.2L supercharged V8, 797 horsepower

For my money, I'd choose Option D...the IS 500. For the same money you will have the N/A V8, a great sound, same power figures, AMAZING build quality, executive maturity, longevity, and an incredible service experience. Nice review, thanks for posting!

Have you sat in a GT2 Stinger recently? You also say 64K for a Scat is worth it!?? Hard disgree there. With a Scat you are only paying for the engine and 64K is a ridiculous price to pay. Waaaaaayyyyy too much competition in that price range.
I’ve sat in a Kia Stinger GT2 before, and I have to say, that car’s interior is by far the nicest I’ve ever sat in, I can definitely agree on that. Also, I don’t think any Scat Pack (Widebody) is worth $62k.
I bought a 2016 Hellcat charger in 2018 with just under 3000 miles for $53k. I love Chargers in any variant, but would much rather own a new m340i xdrive as my fun daily than a scatpack.
I owned a Kia Stinger GT1. I think the interior in the Kia was very plush and upscale, while the Charger feels like a 15-year-old rental car. That rearview camera is awful too.
I have a '21 Charger SPWB loaded with all options but the carbon fiber package and suede headliner. Its an amazing vehicle, beautiful and is so much fun to drive. But it can get you in a world of trouble fast with Johnny Law. I've never had traction control completely off, or have done a burnout. I don't think I need to abuse my car to impress people I don't know. Besides, I'm trying to keep it out of a ditch and those tires are expen$ive. Prices have gone up a bit and dealer markups are just plain wrong. However, they are charging what the market will bear so somebody will pay it. I'd like to drive the M340i just to make a comparison with the Scatty.
I just purchased a lightly used 1992 Ford F-250 with the 5.8L 351 Windsor in it. Nothing beats the roars and rumbles of V8's This huge truck the previous owner tuned to 415 HP. It Bites hard too! To be fair Teslas are fast and look nice, but sometimes you just need something to play you a symphony. I don't think Chargers and Challengers should be done away with. They could play with electrifying them but if emissions is what they are concerned about, do what other companies are doing. Turbo Inline 4's. The turbo 4's are fun to drive too. Dodge could probably tune a 4 cylinder to make up to 400+HP for the adrenaline junkies. I test drove a Hyundai Elantra GT and had a blast with it.
Dodge currently has patents on twin turbo inline 6 that I think could get tuned, etc. up to and beyond the ScatPack, and Hellcat... Look them up. They might have it also as a crate engine from Direct Connection...
So I need some advice. I currently drive a manual Elantra N and it is terrible on my back. I was thinking of just going old dad mode and getting a luxury sedan for comfort reasons but more and more I am drawn to the magic of the V8 hemi this thing has. I'm worried about the comfortability of the seats and how my back will be after a day drive in one of these, though. How smooth is the ride and how comfortable is the car after a long trip?
I've had my '22 Charger ScatPack Widebody in Triple Nickel and the Plus Group for app. 6months. Totally LOVE IT!. As far as comfort the driver's seat is plenty adjustable and lumbar .I have back problems, almost 60yrs old... Suspension seems a bit stiff, but I am still learning about how to adjust everything. GOOD LUCK!
I bought a 23 narrow body so it has regular non adjustable dampeners, The ride was really stiff when new but now at about 800 miles it has gotten better but it’s still on the stiffer end. I recommend test driving a new or used one if possible before you buy it if you have any issues with a stiff riding car.

And he only seemed to not really beeing able to get in and out. But as soon as he got in. In didn't seem like a problem. Maybe it is about the lengh of your legs more than your upper body? But idk. But fo you know if I would fit in the Porsche 911 991 gt2rs? Because I can't find any answers of how tall you can be max to fit in. And searching for a gt2rs and convincing the owner to let me sit in seems REALLY hard. I hope you can tell me to.
Still don't get the appeal of these cars. I'm the kind of guy who'd instead of spending 65k+ for a RWD basic muscle car would spend 40k or less to buy something premium, less common, nicer looking and faster such as a used Audi S8 Plus. That's just me though, it seems.
Good luck with the maintenance on that S8 😬 . I get the "buy used" sentiment, - I only just bought my first ever new car - but some on-the-surface used values can end up as money pits.

Still don't get the appeal of these cars. I'm the kind of guy who'd instead of spending 65k+ for a RWD basic muscle car would spend 40k or less to buy something premium, less common, nicer looking and faster such as a used Audi S8 Plus. That's just me though, it seems.
Good luck with the maintenance on that S8 😬 . I get the "buy used" sentiment, - I only just bought my first ever new car - but some on-the-surface used values can end up as money pits.

@@will.dornon maybe, but think about what you're working with. You get better power, better tech. The people who would go buy a scat pack are not the people who would or should go buy foreign performance cars. The people who think about cost should not be having high maintenance cars in their mind.
