Hey Tom, I got inspired by your experiment and gave 200 Youth Rating to Indonesia on my fm23 save, except I'm managing the national team 😁 my Goal is to win the WC but as of 2034 I could only get to the quarter finals.. but won 2 Asean cups after many losses In the final to Thailand 😅
I made a database called "Asian superpowers" where I gave all Asian countries a higher youth rating than 160, with only Hong Kong getting 200 youth rating, and the game importance to the max in every Asian country too. Haven't played on it though since I want to finish my FM23 save first but I'm very excited to see what it's gonna bring. I'm also not gonna play in Asia, just in the Bundesliga but I'm defenitely gonna keep an eye on those Hong Kong wonderkids 👀

Did you turn on full detail simulation for the competitions Laos play in, as that has a huge impact on national teams which have one or two good players

You need to do a Perfect Striker technical with the worst Physicals, VS Worst striker Technical with the Perfect Physicals. Is Slow short and lazy with Quality better than Fast tall and athletic that cant hit a barn door.
