So Tonbridge apparently has a population of 41,000 and the whole district of Tonbridge and Malling has a population of 132,000... In other words, every single person in the district (plus about 10,000 from outside) show up to every single one of the teams games in this experiment. That's a team that is welcomed by its community! 🤣
Well there would be an away support 😊
It's actually a curse. Every home, shop and business is looted during the 90 minutes as the rest of the country knows they'll all be at the game.
This happens here in France, Lens has like 36k capacity but there live around 30k people in the city
They're literally busing people in from everywhere.
Kent need a big club lol. We are screaming out for one!
8:11 Jesus Christ forest became a powerhouse here. Obviously over time in FM new clubs start dominating the prem, but I wasn’t expecting it to happen so soon (under 20 seasons)
Maybe they had a big money takeover
3 prems and a Ucl as a forest fan
GET IN!!!
@@joshadventureplazeshaha same lad feels good seeing stuff like this
1.8M every home game. God that's op
with 46 league games each season in the lower divisions that's 23 home games, so a total of 41.400.000 per season. And this does not include potential cup matches or the league play offs in some seasons, it also doesn't include any friendlies. If we included those things we could easily go above the 50 milion mark in some seasons.
@@adrian225 get into a league with teams that have a good away following and all of a sudden, you get almost 2m each home game from ticket sales. Let alone merchandise sales.
Tldr
also television rights @@adrian225
But is it really that broken?
9:40 Man City relegating isn’t something you see every day 💀
Brilliant stuff Tom.
It is strange how a huge Stadium can try a Teams Fortune, as long as you can Fill it that is.
Tonbridge fan here - loved the vid!
Followed the club home and away for years now, hate the fact Maidstone followed us up to the championship though :/😂
Maidstone fan here, i'm amazed, with no help too xD
Was struggling to believe Forest would win all those titles, but Spurs winning one really blew my mind😂
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂🤣😄😂😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂
@@EADAMS_HA this guy might find it funny.
And Man City getting relegated 😂
As a Forest fan, this was a great experiment 😅
Thought you guys might like it 😂
same with saints towards the end
As a forest fan im happy to see the constant forest trophies 😂😂
as a man from the tonbridge area, the way Tom pronounces it drives me crazy😂
that's not it? is it tunbridge or tonbrdge or what?
What a run they had. Definitely the best result you had for these experiments
Wigan gave me goosebumps :D Looking for better times in real live...
Nice Video - Keep on :)
Greetings from Austria
TONBRIDGE MENTIONED!!!
Just read your article on the BBC tom, great news, well done sir
Awesome Stuff Tom and nice to see your interview on the BBC
@3:07 Oakley Cannonier! Legendary Liverpool ball boy! The lad who enabled, "Corner taken quickly - ORIGI!"
You know that this is a pure fantasy when you see Tottenham winning Premier League.
Bro just say Tonbridge properly haha
4:36 Big GG to Toms Favourite Team
Just seen ur on the BBC news website. Keep it going ma man👍
Tom could you do a simulation where you gave a tier 7 team a premier league rep but no other improvements?
Just seen your BBC article Tom. Well done mate
Really love this story telling!
City winning the Europa league and getting relegated is insane
Was interesting to see Maidstone join Tonbridge up the leagues to the championship, the only NLS team to reach that high consistently!! These are big local rivals in Kent, would Maidstone have benefitted from the larger stadium, stadium share maybe? Very interesting 🤣
Az önce senin hakkında bir hikaye okudum ve tebrikler, insanlara umut veriyorsun.❤
I have been to that stadium! It’s quite cool really.
I lost my way at there, stadium was too big
Really enjoyed this 💪🏼
Mark O’Neil was an absolute goal machine for Tonbridge in the 2050s⚽️🔥
Just seen your article on the BBC News website lol
10:42 this is why we love football manager!
Just saw you on my Google homepage, after a year or so of watching, my boy made it 😂😂
9:37 9th place curse lol how did i immediately expect man city to get relegated
Please break this save down a bit more. Forest winning so much, city relegated. I really want to know what happened
Love to see my local team getting some love lmao, but I gotta say... as someone who not only works at the club but has supported them for a while, we get around 800-1200 fans coming to every game... so uh... yeah.
Hey tom, just wanna say congratulations on the shout out from bbc news!! Thats actually how i found you, crazy! I enjoy watching FM content, ill be looking forward to seeing your content and hopefully a subscription along the way!! All the best on your career! F the council 😂😂
6:08 Blackburn playing europa legue at the championship.what a crazy universe
As one of the current 1,000 Tonbridge fans - absolutely loved this! Only thing less realistic than Longmead being a 150,000 seater is us winning the FA Cup... we almost always lose our first Cup game to lower-league opposition ☠
The Longmead Stadium is built on the edge of a park and neighbours farmland on the other side, so the Angels actually have space for a massive stadium rebuild if they even got the financing! Only 1 road in and out though, which might cause some problems on a matchday 😂
@7:57 Tonbridge go up and Derby go down. You love to see it.
edit: and apparently Forest are the greatest club in England? Please, never let this end.
I NEED to use this save in the game!!!
5:11 loved the contrast
Amazing to think that even with all this money, and bottling two playoffs, I still managed to get them promoted quicker.
Just reminded me one of my best saves Fm13 or Fm14 I took Tonbridge all the way to the top and I stopped the save after winning everything and build a stadium with my name on it 😎
Same
Having a stadium named after you is the dream!
The main obstacle to this occurring in real life is all the NIMBYs in Kent objecting to a 150,000 seater stadium in Tonbridge
Brilliant video 😂
Probably the best I’ve seen ai Lincoln do, consistently fighting int he championship by the end
05:27 Ding are massive Tom, not sure what you're on about?!
I’ve played in this stadium 😅 Sunday league cup final, U14/U13’s… drew 1-1, lost 5-4 on penalties, got MOTM tho. Still have my medal and MOTM trophy till this day
can you make a TV-Deal or a maximum facilities video with the danish league now that you saw the danish derby
Good video would be to fast forward like 20 years and see where all the big stars of today are? Harry Kane being the Accrington Stanley physio or something like that hopefully!
As a Forest fan this simulation is my dream❤️
Loved this video… as a forest fan hahahahaha
Just saw you on the BBC mate 😂
Tom the polish newsletter WP made an article about how you quit your job and play FM full time. They've really ran out of topics for the international break haven't they.
I did this in Japan back on champ manager 02/03 I think. Gave a 2nd division team a 300k stadium, didn’t work out for them either 😅
You know exactly how to make people continue to watch your videos with those links at the end of every video!
"Season 20, Tombridge lost the Championship Playoff Final"
And Championship Blackburn won the bloody FA Cup so it seems...
I have a 5 star 19 year old goalie playing in the Prem. He's on £2,200 per week because I signed him when we were still in League 2 when he was 17 and he's on a 5 year contract.
Another banger. Lollujo is well jell!!
A bit unrelated but Can we appreciate how much tom hates grimsby town for a second
Just got in from watching the best team in Lincolnshire (gtfc) and Tom was on TV!
Is it possible to restructure tournaments in FM? I have an idea about merging pyramids and making regional super-leagues and would be curious to see how that turned out in the end
“79 times less” doesn’t make sense. They earned a 79th of Reading’s figure.
And Tonbridge’s first syllable is said like the word ‘ton’ (rhymes with ‘bun’), it doesn’t rhyme with ‘con’.
What skin and graphics packs are you using @TomFM ?
7:53 HOW TF did maidstone make it to the championship on ai bro edit: 12:29 WHO'S CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND? THATS RIGHT BOIS COME ON SOUTHAMPTON
This is good stuff
I lived in Tonbridge and I would have played for Tonbridge angels at 8, obviously under 8s but my team begged me to stay. Kinda a reach but I still feel related to it in a way, also it's pronounced Tunbridge but spelled tonbridge
i think if my local team ever manage to get promoted they would take this record for the smallest but we keep bottling promotion
forget the main story, get back on Forest winning league titles and champions leagues! Can't we all just live in this reality?
Meanwhile my board wont even expand my stadium of 5500 after winning the Europa League and reaching the semis in the UCL with 300M in the bank
9:40 the oil money ran out
As a Forest fan I approve of this alternate reality.
Could you rebuild barnsley fc after the lost the play off final in the 120+3 min to there rivals shefdield ❤
Would love to see a forest rebuild to win the champions league again or trying to make Blackburn win a 2nd premier league
Man loves a zoom in.
8:13 Forest winning the prem wow
It's weird seeing your local club in a popular youtubers video
You should try this without increasing their attendance to see what happens
How do you find these player potential numbers? I’ve seen a couple videos with them now but can’t find them
You have to buy the in-game editor. There's an option for it on the drop down menu when you want to save/exit the game etc
love that from forest
Jesus how many games would a club in the championship play in a season, if they also had a run in Europe all the way to the final. I mean I could work it out myself but I can’t be bothered.
I think updating the ticket prices based on league would’ve been fair
The thing is the average ticket price, is it still £12 a ticket? Surely being in the premier league they should be £50 average. Does the AI change this amount as they go up?
You American-saluted him.
WHEEEEY TONBRIDGE ANGELS COME ON
Tom not like your going to see this but please! Please do a rebuild or something with bradford city look at the last 25 years for us we need it! 😁
how to see all competition career stats? 3:49
Please do a challenge with Hereford
Please video on Sc Kriens rebuild from the third league in switzerland and try beating their rivals FC Luzern
One, two, three, four, five, sick
WE NEED PRE GAME EDITOR FOR MODS AND REALISM
How much was the reputation at the end?
Can I live in this universe were Saints are winning the premier league?
Hi Tom, Please give one club 150,000 seater Stadium, other perfect facilities and the last one £1 Billion and Sim 50 Years on.... I follow you from Zambia 🇿🇲 😅😅
What was the final bank balance
dartford mentioned ⁉️🤑🤑
11:13 Peterborough winning the league only to get relegated presumably the following season 11:35?
Tom, what happened here? I’m dying to know how a team goes from winning the league to getting relegated.
Also the idea of Man City as a yo yo club is hilarious.
Peterborough won the championship and got relegated from the prem.
Seems the stadium is more important.... if only my Freiburg board in my save would listen to me and build a new one, I've saved up 500M and they still won't consider it.
They got the reverse playoff curse
