In today's Football Manager 2024 experiment video I flipped the English Football Leagues to put non-league teams like Chesterfield and Dorking Wanderers in the Premier League, and moved those teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City into the National League. How quickly will they be able to get back, and will the non-league clubs be able to hold them off?

Hi Tom, I love watching your videos. I was wondering if you'd ever consider downloading one of those mods where you can unlock more leagues in the English pyramid ( i.e lower than Vanarama North/south) and then flip the league's, and see how that would go lol

Hi Tom, i love these videos with the tables switched around. I have another idea, what if the top 6 teams where put in the league below the national league? To simply give the obvious stronger teams more competition. And some breakout winners from the rest of the league. Just so the rest of the Old Prem have sort of a 2-season head start😅

Interesting that York took six wins and two draws from the first season (1:12). That means York beat Kiddy, Maidenhead and Oxford home and away AND also drew TWICE with real Premier League teams. That is the real shocker of the first season. 😳

I once remember flipping the English leagues in FIFA, and Liverpool lost the Championship playoffs to Mansfield Town lmao. They came third behind City and... Chelsea iirc, but then did the bottlejob of the century in the playoffs.

why were man city in the champions league when they were in league two? did they win uel?
Yeah I feel realistically most teams would lose most their players not just retain a world class team

Here's a thought, how about flipping the leagues and then flipping the points, so you get more points for losing compared to winning

Maybe make the leagues the same as they were in a random season eg 1950/1951
a lot of clubs from that time probably aren’t around anymore, also the league structure was wildly different

why does the premier league doesnt lose places for the international tournaments, because after those years the league cant be in the top4 of the uefa-five-year rankings.

I think you need to somehow confine 'Man Sh*tty' et al in the lowest league for five years to let the other divs sort themselves out? It seems that every single one of these types of vids sees them just trampoline back up like nothing happened, and it just gets old tbh :/
