Some additional changes I forgot to mention are: An additional charging port was added for rear passengers. And second, in the driver gauges, they added a new display that shows the power transfer between front and rear wheels. I could not find that display on my 2023 model.
I really wish it had the GV70 interior for 24, it has never been fully redesigned (except for the exterior refresh, not redesign) they need to, it looks 2025 on the outside side but 2017 on the inside and for most other car brands that is a good thing, but not genesis they still makes great interiors it’s a shame there not touching the G70 😢 P.s. for anyone doubting a 2025 model car&driver has a review on it already 😂
Wins: Wiper stalks, Genesis branded brembos, and the frameless mirror. losses: the new wheels are a downgrade as is the touchscreen HVAC, also why did they ADD a dead button to the switch gear below the drive mode selector. Makes no sense.
I'm not sure if this is because I own a '22, but I must say, I prefer my model year over '24/'25. The HVAC controls seem like a downgrade - the physical buttons are something that I think are really important for the experience in the vehicle. The fact that they changed the steering wheel controls would drive me nuts. Also - good catch on the change of interior trim - I also think the carbon fiber is more appealing. The only thing I do wish I had was the new steering wheel stitching.
RE: The steering wheel controls they're doing this with all other Hyundai and Genesis models as well and I would think they figured people are pressing the volume and track/station change buttons more often than they are cycling through menus and because most people are right handed its better to have it on the right side of the wheel.
I'm hoping for a total interior refresh for 2026. This car has not had an interior refresh since it released in 2019 lol. That's an eternity in car years to go 7 years without a refresh lol. I mean they did update stuff such as AC control, larger infotainment screen, small trim bits here and there, but that's all been one thing at a time over the course of 7 years, so I don't really consider that a refresh. They're all very minor changes.
2024 Canadian G70s got the full digital dash. Overall, 23-24 just a bit different but not anything significant. I prefer the 23 wheels. The 24 steering wheel is nicer for sure.. Prefer the Brembo branding on the 23.
I'm pretty sure the 2022 and 2023 Canadian models had the full digital cluster already. Could be wrong but I'm pretty positive they did. The united states is literally the only country that does not have the full digital cluster
Change to the 2025 model, we are not getting a G70 at all in 2025 and beyond. Sad to say they are killing the G70 this year. I love this car, people head turns, they notice. It definitely stands out and looks good.
There are already 2025 models in route to my local dealership. People have posted window sticker of them too. Was told they will arrive in June. So there are definitely 2025 models. Genesis has made no official comment that they will be discontinuing the G70, all rumors

Hey I’m first lol. I think the inside changes are a step up especially the steering wheel, stalks, and start button. I’m torn on the wheel change.

My 22 with red interior has red extended leather. The 24 model with red interior now only has black extended leather 💀 lucked out
