It's true for a lot of mmos that longer you sub for less it costs because you are paying ahead for time you may or may not use. That's why it is great for both the player and the company because if you play for 12 months it's a great deal and you'll probably do it again and if you don't play for 12 months you already payed so no money lost for the company. If you pay on month to month basis the extra cost comes with the company's risk of you not subbing next month. Also ironically bonds are technically the most valuable membership for Jagex because they make them a lot more money by proxy. Since 20 bonds cost $160 which is the best deal you can get for membership from bonds if you don't pay 20 bonds at once it is a lot more bonds per year which is even more money. Unless of course you pay for bonds through VPN in a country where it costs a fraction of the price.

I always buy a year during the VIP sale so its even cheaper for a year. In my opinion bonds arent rlly worth it because u are slowing down ur progression by a lot. The couple bucks a month u pay isnt that much anyway when u have an income
i buy bonds for 14 days membership a time because its rare if im playing OSRS ill play for more then 7 of those days, couldn't imagine paying for a years membership and only playing for a couple weeks of the year

not sure if it stil works but i used to buy membership with a vpn from countrys like turkey and payed 1/5 of the price in euro
it definitely does, if i ever need to buy bonds i just switch to mexico or something and pay like half the price lol

6 months is the way to go, cause after 6 month you burn out and want to take a small break until you're ready for another 6 months.
