Love the intense close up stuff. It really is the key to exciting images, whether you're a photographer or videographer. As Robert Cape said 'If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough'. I'm all about safety, but you can't get away from the fact that an frame filling image shot at 50mm is a lot more interesting than a frame filling shot at 600mm
Spa this year was so good, even with getting drenched. Silverstone is our closest track, but unfortunately other than British GT there’s not much else racing there that makes my tail wag
@@orangetlh Brexit really killed international Motorsport visiting the UK. F1 and GTWC Sprint are the only foreign championships to visit the UK now.

Love your videos Mark. One question for you: How important is camera gear to get started in this career? Do I need to get the best cameras in order to be able to do this while starting off or can I start off with not so good of a camera and still make it? Thanks! PS. I live in Manchester, England. Any endurance races nearby 😀
@@AbdullahHumayun06 it plays a role for sure. But you’d be surprised how many people have expensive camera kit and are clueless how to use it. The most important thing is learning and practicing your composition, editing skills, camera settings, etc.
