In my opinion without dub, Michael has been the great driver all time. See this lap is more than sufficent for understanding it. Damn aggressive but not committed a minimum error. 1:16 to 1:20 is completely amazing. He is downshifting into the turn guns it half way in and just takes off. That rear end looked like it was on the edge of breaking lose. Watching this makes me miss M.S. more than ever. M.S. you are a God.

I remember Montoya's discouraged face at the press conference after this quali. So much for the rules overhaul prior to this season but Ferrari are whole second ahead of everyone on a last year's car. Everyone thought this would be a continuation of 2002 season. Nobody could have imagined that none of its drivers would show up on the podium in the race and that the first win for Schumacher would only come at the 4th GP.

I am 16 years late, but this is the actual F2002. Ferrari used it for the first three races in 2003.
