    I'm glad you give Dr. Peter Rogers, MD a forum to speak. I know he comes off a bit on some podcasts as acerbic, rude and bizarre, but I think he is invaluable on diet & health in general.
    Also deserves a seat at the table with Simon Hill ("The Proof") and Rich Roll, who seem to both fairly open minded. Maybe if enough of us write in to "The Proof" and Rich Roll, he can spread his knowledge with those audiences too.

    If you are interested in the immune system i sure wish you would examine plasma cell dyscrasias like MGUS and multiple myeloma...and free light chains. I developed MGUS while eating lowfat no oil no sugar no salt vegan diet. I did have years of sleep deprivation as a teacher and coffee intake to get me through the day though...and actually i did eat nuts until i saw your videos 2 years ago. Excellent video...so much powerful information. Thank you.

      @@katmeup7... then you and I know that this diet does not save us from everything...but it is EXTREMELY disheartening to see all of the videos re: cancer and diet in which cancer is assumed to be synonymous with tumors. When the immune system suffers a cancer....none of the diet gurus even acknowledge it. It is never mentioned...no one examines what is causing too many monoclonal immune cells that have no clue what their job is until they cause such a problem the immune system becomes its own cancer....and...even if it doesn't...our kidneys take the hit until they fail. IF our diet were so protective...why did our immune systems forget how to differentiate its own cells WHILE we were eating it? We are left to traditional medical videos only. I hope my comment is read. And I empathize with you completely. We live from one monitoring to the next...pretty hard to avoid stress knowing our life is in balance with an immune system gone awry.
      The only person dealing intensely with immune disorders is Dr. Brooke Goldner...and she is achieving great things with high omega 3 flax, chia, greens. But would her diet help US?...it's hard to consider such a high fat diet after being convinced fats are so bad...but...yet...she actually works with and has succeeded with thousands of people. Hard to just ignore.

      @@katmeup7 I think there is just so much in our environment that can damage our DNA. Diet is just one thing we can control more than others. As just one example...I took hot baths in fluoride treated water nearly all my life. I think we just don't realize what much of what we are exposed to can do to us. Oh well. I'm just frustrated that all discussions about cancer seem to reference only those that present with tumors. This is short sighted and misses the whole point of the systemic aspect of cancer. Cancer is not a tumor...a tumor is merely one small manifestation of a major metabolic crash.

    Related to lymph flow … I’ve always wondered if very active people who develop cancer are more likely to have it in lymph nodes at the time of diagnosis vs those that are more sedentary. Finding it in a nearby node, like in breast cancer, seems to be a negative, but isn’t the lymph just doing its job? Being physically active has been shown to increase survival so I have always wondered about this contradiction.

    So much good information here for anyone working to prevent cancer, and for those with cancer. I’m looking at a chart from Harvard researcher showing “The Pathophysiology of Cachexia” regarding cancer in this case. Cancer can lead to increased Cytokines that can be Procachetic such as release of TNFa, IL6, IL1, IFNy,also causes hyper metabolism with increased Resting energy expenditure, Increased Cortisol. Yikes!!
    So many risk factors after one gets cancer that the cancer alone causes- and 30% die of this cachexia.

    Pretty annoying in 2024 to talk about the good God who creates everything.
    If God created everything, he also created evil.
    He created millions of living species that are forced to tear each other alive in order to survive and other terrible and aberrant things that were not necessary.
    All creatures spend their lives suffering and fighting for whatever reason, does God enjoy watching?

    • @paulcohen6727
      @paulcohen6727 3 месяца назад

      It sounds persuasive but my logic professor in college showed our class where it breaks down. Apparently a good god could create the universe without evil and then evil could come about because of man's free will to choose evil. This could result in the chaotic world we see today as divine punishment or some other purpose such as an incentive for us to do better and to follow this god. If the god prevented this from happening, then he would be denying us free will and we would be mechanical robots without AI. A similar argument is that either this god is good but he is to be powerless to prevent evil or he refuses to prevent evil, because he is evil. This is a false dichotomy, there may be other options available to a god, such as wanting to wait until his purposes are fulfilled to eliminate evil and suffering. I don't know for sure, but I do know that I don't want to be arrogant about things that are beyond my understanding either in 2024 or any other year.
