Until you mentioned how small the door was I really liked the look of this, lots of room I thought. Nice filming Kev, the time lapse clouds were quite something, the different heights showed beautifully on top of each other.
Hi, mate, nice little camp there and great content camping in locations nobody probably has before. Most people I watch on yt always camp in the same old beauty spots like twin peaks outdoors for example.Very boring! You are a true explorer my friend and I like it. Glad I found your channel. I camped on domen fawr which you mentioned further along in the distance couple of years ago. So much on our doorstep to enjoy
Ah, nice. I saw a few lights on Domen Fawr so it had some night visitors when I was camping. I'm trying to camp my way around the South Wales Valleys and so far, so good!
Liked all the night photos and that starry sky Kev 😊 always enjoy seeing your Timelapse’s too that was a lovely sky from dawn 😊 shame that dirt track was busy esp for night time.
I like the look of that tent even though I'm absolutely a side door tent person, can't get along with porch cooking out of a small front door 🌧 Some lovely images from a very chilled out looking camp too Kev. Cheers!
Yeah, I'm with you on side opening doors. There's just something about this little tent. Always wanted one and watched lots on eBay before finally buying this one. I do need to sell some tents soon, just not sure which ones.
Shame you didn't get the northern lights. Enjoyed watching this video and your thoughts on sleeping under a quilt. I use an enlightened equipment quilt and buying it was the best ever decision for sleeping ever! That combined with my neoair and I'm convinced I have a great set up even in winter! Nice looking small tent too!
My first use of a quilt, I've now bought a Sea to Summit Glow 1 for summer use. Synthetic and only £62 direct from them as it was half price. Hopefully I can try it this weekend.
I was also camping out that night looking north but to no avail. I missed the Friday northern lights I assume you missed them too then. Great spot for a camp, I do like a hill top.
Nice one Kev, I could have popped a cuppa up to you... not too far away...the pipes are to let any gas out I guess, over on the silent valley site they are in abundance which is a landfill site. There might well have been some undesirtables up there thorugh the night.. it's a fave spot for fly tippers - they boil my p**s. atb Al
Yeah, thankfully car was fine and no litter around this time either. It's a nice little hill and has enough drop to be a proper hill but not classed as such as manmade. A second cold cider would have been nice!
Unfortunately I didn’t have any space in my running pack for a camera to video the 100k run! It was a brutal day out, with some stunningly good views. Next time you can be my crew and bring your camera gear! 😂😂
Maybe to help sell some tents, you could 'pick a number from a hat'. A randomn choice that you then sell? Or, you could try FIFO, "first in first out", sell the tents that you have owned the longest and have not been used the longest?
interesting content Kev. The towers as you referred to them as are pipes going down into the tip for measuring the level of water. Every so often a workman will come along, unscrew the top off from the pipe and lower a probe down.
Ah, thanks for letting me know. It's such a distinctive hill now, I can see it pretty much from the house and have always been intrigued to visit it. Didn't imagine I'd camp on it, but I've been really enjoying the local camps and seeing them at night.

Thanks Yas. A busier road than expected, but the camp was as peaceful as I thought. Not many people around in the day let alone the night!

Not a bad idea. I'll have to get some up for sale soon, maybe I could sell most of them and then buy different ones to use and move them on as well.
