I love how smooth the interface feels
Really cool that you gave a decent in depth walkthrough on the UI. The fact you were able to confirm that the message rekes work with voice input as well as keyboard is super useful to know! One question though: what android phone was that paired with (asking because I know that the AI voice assistant on most GT watches only actually works with a Huawei phone, but maybe the voice typing is different?)
Best design is still has GT3 PRO but some new features are so cool.

Looks nice. Hard to tell from the video how chunky it is though. The Samsung 7 looks less showy and the Appel watch looks more useful for heavy smart use. Great to have the choices.

Ordered this but then found it doesn't support nfc tap to pay where I am. And I couldn't get an answer about whether or can support and play podcasts and audible audio books. So probably going for Garmin as it has tap to pay and podcast support.
Apple and Samsung watch killer?
Not even close; no third party apps, so not a true smartwatch. If you want a fitness tracker sure but even then, Quantified Scientist’s initial test showed that this watch’s sensors are worse than their predecessor.
Not if you have an iPhone or Samsung watch.
I prefer Garmin for their durability and versatility, battery life and less chunky appearance than some.

Doesnt need to Huawei always number one, has better sensors, top notch gps accuracy, better built quality, and most importantly WAY better battery, Huawei battery last 15 days, while samsung and apple last only 2 to 3 days which is pathetic.
And not to mention Wearable market share Huawei is number one.
@@alexaraducan Go watch the quantified scientists review of this watch. It's not even as good as the GT4. It's sensors are WORSE than the GT4. It's heart rate is worse. Who cares if the battery lasts longer than Apple or others. It's sensors are shit and it gives lousy data compared to Apple and the new Pixel watch 3. Huawei is not always # 1. That is a fanboy thing to say. I pick a watch for accuracy and this watch is not on top.

I have GT3 pro it's awesome, this one looks great but GT3 pro have better looking titanium strap. I have bought it because l like free diving so l use it almost every day is see without any problems, battery life I great. I think GT5 pro can only be better. Great video

Their harmonyos 3 on watch 3/pro can do reply, but not for gt version.

well it needs some other base staff like voice record and more storage for songs come on 4gbs for music and maps is impossible you have to choose maps 20 songs more or less
Men GT 5 and 5 PRO and Watch D2 have huge problems with measurements, the mass of channels that test such devices better indicate a huge problem with the measurements. The question was whether faulty detectors and sensors fell into the watches or whether the software is incomprehensible. Because GT 3 PRO has much more accurate measurements and it is already an old watch... I am waiting for an answer after 4 updates whether something has been fixed, if not, HUAWEI must prepare a quiet replacement for improved models...

I've gone for using a mi band 9 for exercise and sleep (21 days use). And using an apple watch 6 with my Sony phone - gives me everything I need (2 to 2.5 days with the Apple watch 6).
Apple watch is crap . 2-3 days battery life.
@@alexaraducanyeah 2-3 days battery life (keep home screen simple and swipe across to screens with complications - extends life a lot). Enough for a weekend but not a week when I can't charge.

Quantified Scientist reviewed this watch. Was worse than the GT4. It was a step backwards in heart rate monitoring for sure. No way in hell it even comes close to best smartwatch of 2024. He.does in depth reviews with actual testing. You've done none of that except testing gps. All you've done is repeat what Huawei say the watch can do. Not a good review buddy.
I saw his tests and you are right but dont forget he had the watch for 1-2 days. It may needs some time to understand some of your ways or even a better update will fix it. I dont think there is any way that they realised something worst than their previous model
Nice looking watch.. Quantified scientist tested this watch and put it through its paces and the inaccuracy was not good at all. Not to mention anyone who would buy Huawei and put their personal information in that connects to any account is silly. I take that back. Not silly but more like stupid. Understand the connection that Huawei has to the Chinese government and also understand what The Chinese government requires companies to do. A company in China is essentially wide open to whatever the Chinese government wants to do and we know they cannot be trusted..
