Health features 💯, everyday all day. We're always holding our phones so we aren't looking for notifications on our wrists... blood pressure, heart rate, fall notifications, ECG... that's why I want a smart watch. Thankfully, Huawei is the one that I'm gunning for
Battery life and notification handling. My beef with these watches are the size, they just look like an omnitrix (Ben 10 reference) on my wrist... thats why i had the fit watch 2 and now the 3. Tried Galaxy watch 7. It has really good functions, and is really good looking, it is really like a phone on your wrist, but 1.5 days of batterlife with always on display, and without it 3 days max is not good, after using a huawei watch that has 10-14 days of battery nad 4-5 days with AOD. Health tracking accuracy is also kind of important, I mean if it cant at least track my heartrate failry accurately, then why am i paying a premium for a smart watch? I could just buy a regular watch that shows the time.
Battery life! I use the watch to track my sleep at least to have an indication. Impossible when I need to charge it every night. I have the watch ultimate blue and yes even with heavy use it's close to 14 days lasting
I have an original Huawei Watch GT, it's 6 years old now and it still gives me 5 days of battery life, with workouts and notifications etc still active so I can confirm for older models that the battery life does not degrade ridiculously over time. When I had it new it was around 10 to 14 days but still 5 days is awesome for a 6 year old watch. Still in immaculate condition too.
Also got myself one after doing some reading about these watches. Funny there is so little content about them online 🤔 Had to scrap the internet for the info
I have the Ultimate watch from Huawei, great for basic use, sports...etc, battery stays for minimum of 10 days, I travel for business and back without taking the charger with me

I’m a iMac, iPad and iPhone user, but I can't convince myself to buy an Apple Watch. If a Huawei smartwatch's battery lasts 14 days and a Garmin's lasts almost a month why the hell can't Apple make a damn smartwatch where the battery lasts at least a week or so? I always get annoyed when I have to change the battery in one of my watches and it only happens every 2 or 3 years. I can't imagine having a watch that could drain the battery before I get home at the end of the day. 909 euros for an Ultra 2 to throw at the bottom of a drawer after a week is a lot of money. I would like to buy an Ultra 2 but never with the current autonomy - or lack thereof - that they have.
I don't think they can't make a good battery life, It just they keep it I think they only think about profit, since even they release dumb new tech according to them not the majority people, their fanboy still buy it
because Apple is not innovating anymore, very sad. It's very satisfied announcing the same products every year. It doesn't make groundbreaking improvements
Apple stopped innovation years ago. They are more interested in the stock market than improving their own products, they will become the next Boeing sooner or later, just pathetic.

@@ShoneTKD Its just a new colour! Same internals, the only difference is that the green one comes out of the box with the new firmware, but the blue and black variants will follow with an update! I think I will try the new GT5 Pro! The new internals are promissing!
it would be good when we express an opinion on a product to have tried it first.... I bought gt 5 pro on Friday after all the videos I watched that emphasized the accuracy of the measurements. on Saturday and while I was cycling and I had chosen it as exercise on the watch, at same time recorded steps. the same thing happened the next day after the software update he did. Saw that one too and was a bit surprised! My GT3 Pro (46mm) ranks high on that list so it would be weird that the GT5 Pro would be any different. But... I saw a lot of other reviews with very accurate HR from the GT5 Pro so maybe TQS had an older version of the watch or an older firmware?

With Huawei you cannot do payments - it's not supported. The other thing that is missing is the eSIM support. Other than that these are really the top watches on the market.

iOS user here. Was using older Fit3 (I think) for long time but unfortunately broke it. Just considering purchasing a GT. Biggest turnoff for Apple Watch - you can’t have notifications for both screens simultaneously. It’s either phone or watch. That is the biggest downside and is very important to me.

Also, can it store and play podcasts and audible audio books to bluetooth earbuds? I'm currently using an apple watch 6 which gives me 2 to 2.5 days without charge with heavy use (a couple of tweaks to extend this). That does me for a weekend. However, i want a smart watch that last for over a week without charging. My first thought was a Garmin light, accurate, supports payments, works with iOS and Android. However, the Huawei looks nice, though I'm not keen on chunky and thick looking watches. I am put off by huawei's customer service. Generally, I prefer more rectangular designs for my extensive use of smart watch features. But the circular does look very pretty and great for some uses.
this is the only thing stopping me from buying huawei watch which is the lack of NFC payment to the bank Im client of. Garmin has it and hence why i use garmin and I get more than a week of battery life on it (battery besides bank payment are the 2 most important aspects for sports watch for me!). people dont realize once you get used to it how convenient this payment method becomes part of your daily routine. one thing that is always on you at all times is the watch! you can forget your phone, your wallet...but being at any place, light weight and being able to pay without a fuss is a great thing. the chinese have it best i believe: the Huawei watch in china can be your wallet, your phone and your car key! yep. cars with Huawei tech in them can use their Huawei watches as keys!
I myself got the Fit3 when it came out and it has been Great but I would love to Upgrade to The 5Pro as it has ECG and Arterial Stiffness and The Fit3 doesn't have those Features.

I have the original Huawei Gt classic , Gt 2 pro and Gte ... For years now they are amazing... For battery life way better than any apple or Samsung. Why can't they have a decent battery 🔋 life like Huawei? 😅
Great Video, greetings from Germany. I bought the Series 10 and I am really disappointed - The sleep tracking ist horrible, the form, the look, the feel ist just cheap. I now ordered the GT5 Pro because Huawei at least improves heart rate tracker, style and the material ist way more premium. The new Apple Watch feels to me like a kids toy. Nothing new. If you tested the series 9 you won`t have any "wow" effect by testing the series 10

Nah, been using series 10 since it came out and the battery life is not all that terrible especially with the latest watch os. I think I actually could push it to whole 2 and maybe even 3 days now running watchOS 11.1
I bought the Apple Series 8 watch about 2 years ago. I really really don't like it - almost entirely because of the piss poor battery life. C'mon Apple, having to charge it every night is ridiculous. I put the Apple watch away and bought a Huawei GT4 - good grief, sooooooooo much better. Battery lasts 7 - 10 days, and the look, feature set and UI is brilliant. I will not be going back to an Apple watch until they can match the battery life. I probably won't upgrade to the GT5 either - I am perfectly happy with my Huawei GT4

There js a fundamental difference between apple and goolge watches and huawei or garmins its like comparing a.smartpgone with a feature phone. The question is hom many of the smartwatch user would be better of with a featurewatch. I came from pebble and now ona GT2 pro, not a scratch on it running for 10days. Interested in the diving feature.
Apple watches, even when they are turned "off" are still actually on. I always turn my AW Ultra off when not using it. I use it only in the gym and when I play football. However, around 3 months ago, I noticed even though the watch was off, the screen was displaying a tiny (around 2mm) time stamp. I initially thought this was the night mode where when you lie it on its side it acts like an alarm clock. It's not, because the display is much bigger and my watch was in the proper wrist orientation. Apple watch is constantly listening to your conversations and sending back data. Mine was in the drawer when I noticed it was still "on". If you work with any job where you don't want industrial secrets being passed on, buy and wear, as I do a mechanical watch.
I HAVE THE GT2 AND IT LOOSES TIME (ABOUT 1 MINUTE EVERY 2 WEEKS) IF I DON T PAIR WITH THE APPLICATION OF HUAWEI !!! PLEASE CHECK IF IT DOES THE SAME !! BASICALLY CHECK ALL SMARTWATCHES !!!
Why apple cant? There are 2 possible answers: 1. They like to a avoid competition. Daddy aka US Govt also likes to help them kicking out powerful competitors. In the same situation with my 6 y.o. GT. Great experience. But now I bought GT5 (not a Pro) mainly for disign reason. 1 week, completely satisfied!

An Apple watch is a no go because of the poor battery life.
And terrible design. Any watch should have a circular design with big mechanical buttons and nice bezel to feel premium. Good job Huawei.
2. 5 days apple watch 6. Rectangular is better for heavy smart use. But round looks pretty.
They like their phones horrible watches.. Huaweinwatches are the best... But they aint better than Garmin... Garmin tops them all

They are certainly the best match for a Huawei mobile phone. Missing functionality if using another android device.

I have exactly that. The watch is 100% compatible, works seamlessly with my s24 Ultra.

Nah, been using series 10 since it came out and the battery life is not all that terrible especially with the latest watch os. I think I actually could push it to whole 2 and maybe even 3 days now running watchOS 11.1

I bought the Apple Series 8 watch about 2 years ago. I really really don't like it - almost entirely because of the piss poor battery life. C'mon Apple, having to charge it every night is ridiculous. I put the Apple watch away and bought a Huawei GT4 - good grief, sooooooooo much better. Battery lasts 7 - 10 days, and the look, feature set and UI is brilliant. I will not be going back to an Apple watch until they can match the battery life. I probably won't upgrade to the GT5 either - I am perfectly happy with my Huawei GT4
GT 6 Pro comes out next year, I can't keep up with buying them every year.

There js a fundamental difference between apple and goolge watches and huawei or garmins its like comparing a.smartpgone with a feature phone. The question is hom many of the smartwatch user would be better of with a featurewatch. I came from pebble and now ona GT2 pro, not a scratch on it running for 10days. Interested in the diving feature.
Only Garmin and Huawei all other are mobile phone on your hand you need to charge every day.

Apple watches, even when they are turned "off" are still actually on. I always turn my AW Ultra off when not using it. I use it only in the gym and when I play football. However, around 3 months ago, I noticed even though the watch was off, the screen was displaying a tiny (around 2mm) time stamp. I initially thought this was the night mode where when you lie it on its side it acts like an alarm clock. It's not, because the display is much bigger and my watch was in the proper wrist orientation. Apple watch is constantly listening to your conversations and sending back data. Mine was in the drawer when I noticed it was still "on". If you work with any job where you don't want industrial secrets being passed on, buy and wear, as I do a mechanical watch.
I HAVE THE GT2 AND IT LOOSES TIME (ABOUT 1 MINUTE EVERY 2 WEEKS) IF I DON T PAIR WITH THE APPLICATION OF HUAWEI !!! PLEASE CHECK IF IT DOES THE SAME !! BASICALLY CHECK ALL SMARTWATCHES !!!
any modes for raquet sports. GT3 pro does not have any and it is a big minus

There are 2 possible answers:
1. They like to a avoid competition. Daddy aka US Govt also likes to help them kicking out powerful competitors. In result, they become less competitive
Or..
2. They could do it, but knowing that sales of their watches still strong, then they decided “Lets keep the battery thing for apple watch ultra 7!”
