    would be nice to see a video dedicated to choosing the right iso for nighttime conditions. still something I'm learning about as a beginning cinematographer

    Great video and nice setup! I'm an amateur so was wondering why you specifically wanted to avoid the front light situation?

    • @MattAitia
      @MattAitia  3 месяца назад +1

      There's tons of videos online about it now but you often want to avoid front lighting because it looks less cinematic for lack of a better term. You want to shoot the shadow side because it creates contrast

    Loved this video, nice and easy! My question is, did you rip off any dry wall with that tape and how do you avoid that if so?

    I’m curious, your BTS shots are much brighter than the real shots. Is the lighting completely the same and it’s just a difference in camera settings/type of camera/post processing, or do you have additional lights on when you’re talking to the camera?

    • @MattAitia
      @MattAitia  10 дней назад +1

      The lighting stayed the same. It was more so the colour grade that I didn't carry over to the BTS cam

      @@MattAitia That's super helpful to know! So in person, these setups are much brighter looking than they ultimately appear.
