Andyax, I would like to say, that I was on the market for a while looking to buy an LED. It came down to two companies and Aputure lightstorm was one of them. The price point was higher than I would have liked but after doing the research (including watching this review) I knew that this was the light for me. Keep up the great work, and you just gained a subscriber!
I bought this light because of your review and so far it is FANTASTIC. I've been itching to get rid of my tungsten light kit but I could never find an LED that was as strong. Now I have. Thank you for the beautiful review!
Probably one of the very best product reviews because you used it in a real filming setting. Great work Andyax. Absolutely love your reviews and tutorials. As a GH4 user myself, I look gain great inspiration from what you do. Thank you.
Just got our first LS 1S a couple weeks ago, and love it! We're ordering two more of them in 10 days. This was a great review, and you're spot on about this amazing little light. Thanks to you (and the other youtubers) for taking the time to review it for the rest of us. :-)
Aldo Miike Thanks Aldo. I'm glad you don't get bored watching them, hehe :) Nowadays, Videos on RUclips tend to be faster and faster, and more crazy, but I hope some people prefer the more slow paced videos as well.
You are brilliant, this is such an eye-opener. You actually show progress throughout your videos, those test shots keep getting better and better. I hope we get to see that short film.
3:38 - From the outside, the light is set up to the right hand side of the window. 3:48 - The shadows that are cast indicate the light outside has now been moved to the left hand side of the window.
What is great about this video is if shows the light in action, on shoots all broken down in a review. Going to be looking into getting one of these, so thanks for all the info!
Brilliant review! LOVE the real-world uses with the scenes you shot. And I was AMAZED at how you made it look like morning by simply turning up the lamp. Really astounding. I already own several Amaran lights, now just have to convince my wife that I need a LightStorm. Thank you for a really great review.
Amazing! The results you have gotten from a powerful light like this are amazing. I have a similar LED light with a 1K equivalent output that I built myself from an online tutorial. Works wonders for all kind of shooting.
Your channel is one of the best I have found on youtube, very helpful and inspiring. I'm just getting into doing Real Estate videos but I also have other side projects as a hobby for the time being, filming parts of my country (NZ) which I will post to youtube when I feel I have a good collection.
I have no clue about movie making or photography I just find you very interesting. Your story telling is excellent and also very funny. Bravo p.s. keep them coming those nordic jokes
Another winning video from this guy. Thank you for posting. The "friend with a towel" made me laugh - not in a bad way but just the joy of using household items instead of expensive equipment. :)
Very well-done. Informational, educational... and will encourage people to check out the light. I appreciate that you did so much more than a demonstration.
You are great! Usually i don't get interested in all videos from the channels i subscribe but i can't stop watching your videos! All objective, attention holder and useful. Thanks for that. Keep it up! (:
one of the best filmmaking vids ive seen on youtube. Hope you start making more videos more often! Love the aputure lights and the gh4, but you get amazing images out of it!
Awesome! You convinced me on the GH4 and I couldn't be happier. Didn't have the cash for the speedbooster and Sigma 18-35mm but got the Leica 25mm F1.4. It really is an amazing lens.
Utrolig hvor atmosfærisk hytte-scenen ble. Lys er en av delene av filmskaping jeg er dårligst på, så takk for alle de lærerike videoene! Deilig med det behagelige tempoet også. :) P.S. Veldig talentfulle skuespillere!
love these videos man! Great job, so many people review lights and never show examples of usage and yall did a perfect job. would love to see a feature film by you and your crew!
Great video Andyax . This light looks really amazing. I am really thinking about getting in the next couple of weeks. The color is very clean! Seems great for fashion and beauty video and photo. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, man. You're mazing! Giving entry-level fimmakers a hope, that we CAN make budget films look amazing, in the same time it doesn't cost you an arm and leg. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Amazing difference with the moonlight and the morning scene lighting. You don't really notice it's being lit from a lamp. (apart from the morning scene where you see the bush outside that's dark, that tells you it's not bright outside all over the place). Still our brains perceive this as believable and it helps in the story telling.
Subscribed! Your vids are amazing, very well thought out with plenty of detail to help so many of us.. It is greatly appreciated! This light panel is a must have!! Also I was on the fence for a new DSLR, and vids like yours just confirmed again that I'm going to go for the GH4. This footage looks great, even in low light. Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks for sharing these tips Anders, all your works are amazing, every little tutorial that you make looks the same or even better than many superproductions! Greetings from Argentina 🥂
Could you go over a set up for filming live music? Like which mics work best for voices and small acoustic instruments? On my channel I film acoustic sessions and I always have a problem with sound quality
Nice and great job norwegian guy, how do you do you film sound,do you have any video on how you do your sound for these short films, would be great if you share what sound equip you use as well,Thank you, great staff and great work.
