What a weekend at Loton Park. First off thank you to all the marshals who stayed out the the baking hot weather over the two days it must have been unbearable at times. Well done to the organisers for putting on such a fantastic event, we really love coming up to Loton it has been a real pleasure. This being our second visit to Loton and another great day on Sunday with pb times tumbling. First practice was straight under the pb with 0.4 off of the Saturday time. Unfortunately I then splintered a driveshaft at the pot end which put an end to second practice but we were back out again for first timed run with another pb. Apologies for the kamikaze bugs on the camera on this and the last run of the day. This was the pb run of a 50.05 unfortunately bogged the start a bit and had a second stab at it, missed the apex going up cedar and got a little too close to the edge of the road, little bit enthusiastic in places on the loud pedal at Triangle and on the exit of Fallow. Not the usual clean and tidy run but hopefully it’s a good setup for next time. Still more to find but definitely a sub 50 there for the taking but what a fantastic hill. Really worth a visit.
