B'sRacing Ben Bonfield Brands Hatch Global GT Lights Track Day

Firstly massive thanks to Ollie of Global Gt Lights for allowing me to drive the factory car. This was my first time visiting Brands Hatch and driving the car. I was really impressed with the 600cc racer. The car felt on rails and didn't do anything unexpected. By the end of the day we were really leaning on the tyres and started to get them to peel. In the corners we could hassle the bigger cars. A lot was learned during the day. I will always be grateful for the experience out on track. Coming from the hillclimb background getting used to mirrors took a second trying to spot chasing cars. By the end of the day we were within a couple of seconds of the qualifying times of the circuit cars on slicks. Brands Hatch is a fantastic track, I really enjoyed the day. Great video. I looked at a Global, many years ago here in ireland but never went for it. I know a few people that race them and they love them. Laughing at you and the mirrors, Im switching to sprinting this year after many many years racing and I keep looking in the mirrors even when most others have taken them off 😂
