      Or maybe easiest/hardest to get to imperial but i guess that depends on the match up as well

    Got to love how my 2 most played civs are on opposite ends of the micro-macro spectrum, although that is partially by design. As a very micro focused player who tends to mess up his macro I decided to pick Abassid as my second civ to teach myself a lesson. xD

    Great chart for people to decide what civ to play based on the LEARNING CURVE [easiness] and STYLE [micro versus macro focus]. I'm a noob playing English and think I might give HRE a go next.

    Nice one, totally different of the rest of the videos of all youtubers. Btw, if possible, i think a good video that would help a lot, at least in my situation, is talking about different types of existing builds and when to use each one, i just know that have castle rush and 2 tcs.

    HRE relic picking is super micro intensive, and once you got more relics than your opponent you mostly only need to macro food and wood

    • @TomBrosch
      @TomBrosch 11 месяцев назад +1

      Microing your economy is still macro. I think the distinction is always with respect to your military. Everything that gets you more military is macro. So in that sense, collecting relics gives more gold, which gives more units. Micro is how you win a fight even with a lower value army. That's why Abbasid and China are macro civs. You still need to micro your imperial officials as China or move your villagers around as Abbasid. But that's just to maximize resources so you can pump out more units.

    Please do this with the new civs but with a twist. Axes should be easy micro -> hard micro vs easy macro vs hard macro. In this video case Malians would be far top right i.e. hardest to micro and macro (as I understand from your vid).

    while a civ can be just macro or just micro = easy

      Malian is hard to win with above mid diamond because of all the subtleties in timing and decision making. But the fact you benefit from having multiple scouts still helps with vision which in turns helps timing. 1 TC eco is easier to manage than 2 TC, in average. I'd say Malian is medium difficulty to get to Diamond -- nowhere as hard as Chinese. From diamond to conq, there is a large execution difference. So having easier eco to manage helps you focus on managing everything else which is an advantage until you are consistently in Conq. So for large portion of the ladder, Malian is really not that hard.
      All in all, maybe you are on the edge of Conq/Dia? Would be kinda weird to think Malian causes you to drop a rank otherwise.

      @@ecpgieicg I’m plat. Golds can beat me if I try to Malian. Not all golds of course, but with some civs no chance am I ever losing to a gold player.

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 11 месяцев назад

      @@brycehammerton4542 Sounds like you are not using builds that make Malian work. Do you ever play it the S4 way -- ie. rushing Poisoned Arrow archers asap and sofa switch soon after? Do you incorporate cow booms in, specifically, Hideout and Hill and Dale? Do you avoid hybrid maps with Malian? I mean I did run into a plat player last season who climbed quite a bit before the game between us and he said he never saw Feudal harass from the Malian he'd met up to that point. So maybe there are some things commonly shared by Malian player in low plat that involve not using Malian's strengths.

    • @brycehammerton4542
      @brycehammerton4542 11 месяцев назад

      @@ecpgieicg very true. I’m not typically looking to harass as Malian. Usually trying to set up the eco and overwhelm opponents later. It’s tough to get the eco going though so you have a good point

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 11 месяцев назад

      @@brycehammerton4542 Check out the malian WR vs time graph. Basically, if you dont win by early mid castle, you lose. That sums up the malian playstyle. At least in S3, S4 that worked. I am not sure how Malian should work at all this season without the same level of early game advantage while having the same late game doom. But either way it's not as extreme as 200 elo worth of deficiency.

    So the European style civs are more strait standard stradegy and unit wise and buildings to operate…..and like mongols , malians , and less chinese and abbasids with golden age achievement is harder…..

    I think the alignment chart doesn't make sense. A Civ can be Micro and Macro intensive. Should have put Micro and Macro on their own axes with easy left/down and hard right/up.

    • @benny8487

      @@MrRealPrezes you do have to consider it being in a high level pov, since stuff like china is probably a contender for hardest civ in game for mid to low level of play, but that difficulty isnt there that much for high level of play and the interactions between civs and the interaction with the enemy is alot more important for determining difficulty

      What rank are you playing in? You just need to make farms with english and you are done. They have castles for age up which protect their resources. Maybe you should play other civs then you will know how easy english is.
