I’ve had mine since April 2018. Can’t think of anything I “ hate “. I’ve wanted one since the seventies and it was on my bucket list. Before I spent 43 K, I made sure it was the best I ordered the wait was worth it.
Same thing happened to me with the forward collision warning, and mine actually slammed on the brakes and almost got me hit from behind. There is a setting to turn it off. Go to Settings-Safety & Driving Assistance. From there you can uncheck Forward Collision Warning and Forward Collision Warning Active Braking. As for your phone holder problems, look into the Pro Clip from ProClip USA. Been using mine for about 2 years now. Honestly OCD has a video on it. I had it in my Jeep overland after the first experience with it I learned about it and liked it for the added safety feature, I wish my Hellcat had it. Also in my Jeep I had cooled seats I was not impressed. As for the wheels you need to purchase brake cleaner to get the brake dust.
I wish the small storage net on the right side of the console was slightly larger, it would make a great phone holder, it's just too small. On the other hand my heated/vented seats work great.
That’s your forward collision warning. You can turn it off. I turned mine off. There is a button where your sport mode and traction control buttons are.
At 8:40, that tiny storage bin next to the gear shifter wasn't primarily designed as a storage feature. The little plastic cup is actually a cap that gives access to the auto transmission park release lever which is intended only for emergency use. Rather than making the cap flat, Dodge just made it a little cup to drop coins and whatever into. The same little cup in the Charger is longer and thus more useful. In fact, the entire center console is designed better in the Charger IMHO. For example, Charger also has another little storage area under the climate control panel and has a door that slides to cover the cup holder holes. My 2012 Charger also has heated and cooled cup holders individually controlled and illuminated in white, blue, or red, depending on the selected mode. I sometimes miss little features like this (a tiny bit) in my new '19 Challenger RT-SP-WB, but most of the time, I'm too busy grinning ear to ear from the shear joy of driving the awesome Challenger. And to be honest, with wireless charging of my phone inside the console armrest bin and features like Android-Auto (Carplay for you Apple guys), I don't need to have my phone out at all, let alone mounted on the dash somewhere.
loose change and phone will be a prob in challengers. It's also very hard to retrieve fallen items from between the seats while driving. Buy dropped item.retainer.. Not sure if that's the name ? Basically a extra storage space that fits between each seat. There's some really nice ones on eBay that matches the trim well and can include a coin bank or extra cup holder
I've had my Challenger for almost 5 years and haven't experienced any of the things you've mentioned. Although I don't have the front camera, cause I already read enough about how that sucked before I got my car. My leather seats still look brand new, my Uconnect has never rebooted ever and works great other than the slow loading of 20,000 mp3s on a stick. As for my phone, I use a wireless charging vent clip holder which is awesome and my phone is easily accessible. Also I find the heated and cooled seats in my car to function incredible. You must have gotten a lemon, lol. I'm totally loving my Challenger and don't plan on ever getting rid of it.
I have the 6 speed stick so half of your issues I don't have. (No adaptive cruise)My brakes don't make noise (yet) as for the trunk just get another set of shocks. My car only has 8,000 miles so my seats are still fine, and my vented seats work great! I still love my car to pieces! Interesting video. I mean I get what you mean about the cup holder where your phone sort of wobbles and falls out. I have the exact same problem with my Tahoe as big as the SUV is I don’t have any place to put my phone so I just throw it in the cup holder. It’s not like I’m gonna be touching the phone too much since the new phone laws. Still tho great video as always

Nice video! I just ordered my 2019 Scat Pack Wide Body last night. As far as the phone storage issue, I was thinking I'd be connecting mine to the Android Auto (iPhone has similar system) through the USB cable in the center console so I'd just store my phone in the console. Wouldn't that work for you?
I have a 2021 Scatpack Widebody Shaker; love the car but small things that I can’t understand Dodge hasn’t changed/offered that would make car that much better: 1). Leather seat offering; alcantera is really just suede and they attract dirt/ hair and cars at this price should offer leather. 2). Passenger seat is manual; that’s crazy for a 57k car 3). Windows don’t go up automatically 4). Almost every other car made has buttons for the different drive modes; this car just has a button that takes you to the custom setting or otherwise you have to use the screen; too many screens to go through 5). No handle inside the trunk lid to close it; Charger has one. 6). Headrests are not in right place and are worthless All these things could have been addressed easily and cheaply for Dodge; simply a lack of some engineer trying to improve the car Overall, love the car but these small things are mind blowing for me.

Just the shape in general is the same this, what I do is just put the phone under my leg or on my phone mount

I know I'm replying to a relatively old post but aside from the adaptive cruise control, everything else he's mentioned is spot on. Oh, and the sound system could have been a little beefier.
I still like the leather because when you're paying over 40k for a car, you would expect it to have some amenities like leather seats. But that's personal preference. Also I don't think you can get ventilated seats in the cloth
KTM Channel the way a brake works is it uses the energy from motion and transfers that to heat through friction in order to stop the car. Some performance brakes are rated for higher speeds and made for more friction due to the higher speeds. So, if your brakes are rated for such high power and you’re not driving it hard it will squeak. A lot.
Get some Power Stop dustless brake pads and your squeal will stop AND your wheels will stay clean then go to Pepboys or Amazon and get new struts for your trunk and it will stay put for just a few bucks, easy swap too.

It’s a great idea. Anyone looking down at their phone while on the road…yes pretty much everyone is looking down all the time… should be pepper sprayed, tazed, slapped, books smacked out of hands, and tittytwistered.
You probably have brake glazing. You don’t actually use your brakes the way they were designed. Go out and do a couple fast hard emergency stops and bet that doesn’t go away
Cool video keep up the good work. And those cars do come with a coin holder it’s in the center console.. & sucks for the challenger no cell phone holder cause they chargers have one where the cup holders go there is a slot for cell phone holders but great video keep up good work God Bless. I can't think of anything that I'm unhappy or dissatisfied with about my R/T. Edit: 1/19/20 - My R/T is the base model, no options. I think I was in error about referring to it as a Classic. Had it for 7 yrs and 100% happy with it.
seriously ? whinning about change ? put it in your pocket or get a sandwich baggie and tuck it in the door … as for the phone doesn't it all come thru the blue tooth ? just lay it on the seat and if someone is in the passenger seat cant you tuck it in the door ? wash your car more and the brake dust will come off easier . I have no problem with the brake dust
@@SchwayZ hey i like your videos All cars have their things But thought you had some little things that were not worth complaining about Some things were worth mentioning I get that you are trying to help
The list I provided may not be the same for everyone but those are things that I have either had on previous cars (but don't have on this one) or things that just get on my nerves. Some of the solutions you provided do not work. Aside from the cupholder there isn't really an accessible storage compartment in the door. Also washing your wheels barely fixes the squeak or dirt problem. I have power washed them several times and the noise and dirt comes back within an hour of driving.
It’s happened half a dozen times in 2 years to me , no bother, yours must be too sensitive. Adaptive Cruise is the greatest invention ever. I’ve drove over 300 miles without touching a pedal. Also it’s great to have when you are on a 2 lane road. Waiting to pass as it lets you set the distance & makes it easier to pass. I have it on a 2 year newer Outlander & that will go all the way down & stop you. Of course I don’t trust & cover my brake but I’ve had the Adaptive Cruise actually stop the car.
Phone? What phone? Storage, for....... Brake dust, I have a stick shift, hardly touch the brakes. Trunk lid, everyone I had except a 300s, never went up on it’s own.
I had this same issue with an old Nissan Xterra. I just bought some new struts and changed them out in 30 minutes and the back hatch would go shooting up after that and hold with no issue. Sucks that Dodge put something a little underpowered for the purpose, but it can be remedied fairly easily.
It’s so funny to hear similar issues to my 2006 Dodge Magnum 5.7 RT. My leather on my driver seat wore the exact same way. There’s a hole at this point. I’m going to reupholster the seat. Also the struts that held up my hatch back. I guarantee my hatch is heavier than the challenger trunk. I had my changed on original warranty and they work perfectly since.
Only thing I'ma hate is ppl asking for a ride and to drive plus having to put 60 in just to fill the tank . Other then dat. I wud of got the wide body .
Brembos are noisy ,get the powerstop ,not sure what you would need ,for the 6 piston bremos it would be z23 and z26 pads ,no squeaks no dust(very little compared to brembro

It’s a great idea. Anyone looking down at their phone while on the road…yes pretty much everyone is looking down all the time… should be pepper sprayed, tazed, slapped, books smacked out of hands, and tittytwistered.
Brembo brakes those that because it’s performance pads
You probably have brake glazing. You don’t actually use your brakes the way they were designed. Go out and do a couple fast hard emergency stops and bet that doesn’t go away
Cool video keep up the good work. And those cars do come with a coin holder it’s in the center console.. & sucks for the challenger no cell phone holder cause they chargers have one where the cup holders go there is a slot for cell phone holders but great video keep up good work God Bless.
Also to fix your brake dust get new brake pads called PowerStop Z26 help with the brake dust
Appreciate it my man! Thanks for the advice and for watching!🙏💪
SchwayZ_ yeah no problem also your other video with the ceramic coating in the can spray was tight can’t wait for the results to see if it actually works cause if it do best way to go then spending $1000 for a ceramic coating
@@CraytonTv thank you for watching the vids my man! Yeah so far ive been happy with it! I still have to test it in the rain/water...then I'll make an update video!
SchwayZ_ sweat can’t wait for the update video I’ll be on the look out cause if it’s that good I’ll sure be going that route
@@CraytonTv awesome man! Shooting for begging of September!
Me going from a 2001 Dodge Durango to a 2020 hellcat I love everything about it lol I can’t take your ride off your hands to 😂
i just bought a scat pack 2016
things i hate
1. no auto up windows
2. storage, like you said under the screen would be cool. (i just use the seat or glove compartment)
other than that, that's it!
i'm actually about to do my top 5 likes/dislikes
No express up window
The thing I hate is my door handles and windows freezing in the winter 🥶
Wow! You should try slowing down and doing some breathing exercises! My Chally is a 2013 R/T Classic, 5.7/6 sp/3.73 limited slip. I gave serious consideration for about 3 months in late 2012, to the various RT trim levels and being an "old school" type of guy, I decided the "Classic" was the version for me. I can't think of anything that I'm unhappy or dissatisfied with about my R/T.
Edit: 1/19/20 - My R/T is the base model, no options. I think I was in error about referring to it as a Classic.
Had it for 7 yrs and 100% happy with it.
Brembo brakes squeal unfortunately, happens on many cars with Brembos.
I can’t stand the blindspots
Yes my challenger brakes squeal at all low speed crawl…a real takeaway
'Hate' that word concerning these awesome cars
It's a Brembo thing. My Chevy SS made a lot of noise on the stock pads too. Went to ceramic pads and solved the problem.
seriously ? whinning about change ? put it in your pocket or get a sandwich baggie and tuck it in the door … as for the phone doesn't it all come thru the blue tooth ? just lay it on the seat and if someone is in the passenger seat cant you tuck it in the door ? wash your car more and the brake dust will come off easier . I have no problem with the brake dust
Jim diamond the kind a person that thinks his car is perfect in every single way
@@SchwayZ hey i like your videos
All cars have their things
But thought you had some little things that were not worth complaining about
Some things were worth mentioning
I get that you are trying to help
You can adjust the sensitivity on this. Mine is set to least sensitive
Phone? What phone? Storage, for....... Brake dust, I have a stick shift, hardly touch the brakes. Trunk lid, everyone I had except a 300s, never went up on it’s own.
Those supports that hold up the trunk are trunk struts had the same problem on a previous caddy sometimes you can fit bigger ones.
Number 1 happens with my semi truck also.... absolutely hate it
Yeah it's annoying man
i hate when my dodge has no Phone holder inside and im agree with that part 100% ... what i do is put my phone next to the passenger seat lill area
i would kill to have these problems
AlfaOBD will allow you to disable the ACC.
I agree bro it gets dirty so fucking fast I hate that
Only thing I'ma hate is ppl asking for a ride and to drive plus having to put 60 in just to fill the tank . Other then dat. I wud of got the wide body .
This car is bugging the hell out of me even though I don't own it.
It's almost a smart vehicle! Its also an American car so quality materials aren't at the forefront!
Millennial, nuff said. wah wah
Okay boomer
Collision warning is not needed and absolutely overkill.
Brembos are noisy ,get the powerstop ,not sure what you would need ,for the 6 piston bremos it would be z23 and z26 pads ,no squeaks no dust(very little compared to brembro
Loose coins scratches the interior plastic. It doesn’t look good
The audio is so annoying
NUMBER ONE FOR ME....CAN I PLEASE ROLL DOWN THE REAR WINDOWS 😠
try using brake cleaner on your wheels that shit cleans everything lmao
You’re buying muscle car not confort
If you want storage, buy a station wagon, not a muscle car.
Driving manual is more fun tbh
You can turn that irritating thing off with a hammer😎
Everyone keeps talking about spare change and cell phones. Get into reality people - it’s 2021 cryptocurrency & microchips are available
I'll trade ya
Sell it
If you don’t like it,give it to me!!
You're missing the point. It's meant to point out some weaknesses on cars. No car is perfect so a potential buyer can listen to these reasons and determine whether they still want to buy the car.
Read the cars manual, jesus
Huh? Please elaborate
Ungrateful ass trade My 2015 Hyundai Accent lol
"Here`s 7 things I hate about my Challenger: 1. insignificant 2. insignificant 3. insignificant , 4. , 5. , 6. 7. detto....."
If it is that big of an issue, trade the car in! Please stop whining!
