Im ok with the change to be honest since it will be universal, yeah bryan loses out on a free taunt setup but at least im not getting rundown by the rest of the cast on getup from a wall combo, it did feel a little cheap. also congrats on TE, well fought and well deserved.

I immediately thought of bryan when i read that. A free taunt after a dash on the wall is extremely rewarding for him, especially that he deals bonkers damage on the wall. That last clip tho, unnecessary pepperoni

They really don't like to have anything guaranteed after all. So heat dash no longer giving +17-18 as well is obvious.
Same thing happened to Lars in Tekken 7 season 2 where a bug caused him to have f211 the best i12 punish ever but during that time some players realize that the rage version might not be that bad since he's so weak that having that wouldn't make him broken just A-S tier so some wanted to keep the f21 sen 1+2 version
But they removed it anyway
With heat dash giving Bryan a guarantee taunt at the wall you can just do 1 combo get them to the wall use heat and now they're pretty much dead
i think it's good, nothing in this game should be guaranteed normal damage on block. the only attacks that should go through block are guardbreakes, and that taunt setup is half hp as a guaranteed damage if you're even remotely close to the wall
It still gives +5 frames 🌝 good for mind games 😈
So with next update we will say "RIP Bryan?" Or I'm wrong and that's buff?

Another TJU at the wall vs one HP opponent, excessive roughness. but in all serious I am a bit worried for bryan after this patch, sure this change probably needs to happen and it effects multiple chars, but idk what else bryan has going for him beside combo dmg. atleast you could get some taunt setups with the giga + frames.
He will be fine it’s not like you’re relying on this tech as a game plan, you get one chance to do it per round and that’s if the opponent blocks.
Qcf1+2 still gives 5 frames :p it’s better for mind games 🤭
Is annoying yea but u know, i think its ok. Heat smash on block is +15, still gives basically guaranteed taunt. And its a universal nerf so yeah i dont mind.

It was predictable the moment they made heat smash +15, instead of nerfing heat dash to 15 which was necessary they made Bryan's heat smash become even more useful now as u still get the mix up at wall but balanced instead as there is a mind game either they should press or not.
Boss heat smash can be float with jabs 🥹 and now with the system change it can be parried ! And can be crush with armor moves as well 🥹
But I’m happy they fixed the taunt scaling 😌❤️
@@gwdofdestruction yes but, it's still better than losing frames completely now at least Bryan doesn't get anything for free and he should be smart about it (which that's identity of the character we ain't carried like others)

Is kinda weird that Bryan's best atributes are being defensive and destroying at the wall, defense in this game is just not fun and now his offense is being nerfed xd

I keep getting a throw instead of taunt after heat. No directional input at all and still get a throw input. What am I doing wrong? I use both manual 1+3+4 input and mapped it to one button and still get the throw.

It’s your muscle memory brother ! Practice slowly with forward input ! Taunt f taunt f real slow if you do it fast you won’t master it ! Practice daily and it will be fixed but slowly! Like about 5 to 10 days slowly for 10 mins then after 10 days go fast
@@alexandrburavlev1026 I’m not pressing any directional inputs. I’m guessing it’s a timing issue? Literally tried the option of mapping the taunt to 1 button and still kept getting the throw. I can taunt dash and do all the taunt options (TJU etc…) no problem but after the heat dash I can’t do taunt. It’s weird to me. Just trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong.
