Interestingly, on different languages, the “Boss” word is changed to a word of said dubbed language (for example, in the Spanish dub, instead of saying “Boss” they say “Jefe”) So not only that but there’s also minionese dialects since the different dubs change SOME words. Also, know how Latin comes from the Romans, and Minionese sounds so similar to those languages? (Like Greek, Italian and Spanish, and the words being so similar) My theory is, the minions served the romans (as their “bosses”) and then those Romance Languages, and Latin, THAT all comes from Minionese. And yes ik Greek isn’t the same language group as Latin but minionese itself still SOUNDS similar to Italian, Greek, Japanese and Spanish. (And as an italian and spanish speaker, I understand SOME of what they say) So yea the minions grabbed from languages and also in their universe influenced the Latin/Romance languages

In minions 2 when kevin asked auto to play hide n seek he used the word "luka chuppi" which is a Hindi word and it means hide n seek and when kevin asked auto where the stone is, auto said "lambi kahani" which is also a Hindi word and means long story.
