- The little Hammond AO-44 is a fun little amp using a EZ31 and two ECL86's. Please subscribe, enjoy the sound demo.
Another great job.
I just found that same giant capacitor in a drawer marked "Air Conditioner/Industrial Caps"
Nice!.
You have that same tube configuration in the early 60's Watkins/WEM Dominator family.
I've got one, a Mersey Super 15.
@@keiranbradley3238 I'm assuming that's a British made amp? I'd love to hear it.
Lovely Clean sound! There are'nt many amps made today that have that pure un-cluttered tone that your creation has. Most new amp manufacturers are stuck with a "Contrived" idea of players want, that's why so many FX pedals are sold . If an amp sounds good it does'nt need more than a reverb and a bit of Fuzz.
Well spoken man, it's just like that!
Real Cool! I think Dr.Z was known for using these chassis's in his early builds maybe?
You are correct. I have three different Hammond amplifier chassis that I've built some simple amp builds off of and they turned out great.
Yeah, I believe the Carmen Ghia when DrZ first made them used this or a very similar chassis, definitely one of the smaller Hammond units.
Hi Ron! I think, it would be nicer, to see You play, not over 14 Minutes only watching this lonesome Korner and listening to Your lovely sounding Amp!🤷♂️
Greetings from Germany 🎸Gerd🙋♂️
I understand, thank you and greetings from the USA. My mother is from Frankfurt Germany 🇩🇪.
@@roncarter2188 Wow, I'm living only ~60km from Frankfurt, left Side, near Mainz and Wiesbaden, at the Rhein!
...some 💐 to Your Mother! 🫶
PS.
...long long times ago! 👴🤷♂️
@gerd2213 Beautiful place! My cousins live in Rodgau.
@@roncarter2188 ...Yepp Rodgau, in the South of Frankfurt/Main! 👍
Hopefully you have the opportunity, to visit Them sometimes?
@@gerd2213 Hopefully someday. The last time was in 1997.
