Hey Ron, always impressed by your handy work. These old Harmonys' sound incredible when dialled in, there seems to be some confusion about them being built by Valco online but from what I've seen of them on the inside there's no indication of that?.
You are correct there is no indications inside that these were built by Valco. A lot of people don't realize that Valco built amplifiers for other companies such as some Harmony amps. The coveted Harmony 415 is also another example. One way you can tell is just by the physical makeup of the amp, the tolex and the screen print that are on the faceplate where the dials are, these are all strong indicators that these were velcro made with Harmony putting their stamp on there just as well as National or anyone else can put their logo on the actual name of the amplifier.
I have a Harmony 415, which is two EL-84 tubes, the poor man's Vox (or Marshall depending on). I always assumed it was made by Harmony not Valco? I have a Gretch with a 15" speaker, used to be called an "Executive" (forget the numbers now), but not the new version of the "Executive". It's just like a two channel "Thunderbolt" they say?

Yeah that Harmony 415 is a killer amp! That's the one Ken Fisher said it was one of his favorite sleeper amps.
