Love the videos on the engine build and the videos on rebuilds on all the equipment so keep them all coming can't wait to see that engine running.
Thanks, will do!
First of all….. thanks for showing that bolt that needs to be installed prior! Secondly, learned more about my truck this morning, high psi oil, t4 turbo , etc etc. thanks dudes! Priceless education. Free, All for the price of taking your time to document. Thanks. Keep the 7.trees on the road.
Until I was about 43,I didn't understand the excitement about a diesel engine. But I bought a diesel van while living in the south Pacific and fell in love with them. And now, I'm sitting here watching this build and drooling.
For me it don't matter what you guys do I find it all intriguing. Thumb up always!!!!!! good job!!
That will make for a great truck, new modified engine standard trans and heavy duty truck . Great build Clint,
Hey Guys... GOOD JOB... suggestion for future, you should wrap the exhaust pipes and up pipes with at least two layers of Fiberglass heat wrap and finish with HD Stainless Foil to keep the water off of the hot pipes. It inoculates the manifolds from breaking in the future. Cooler Cab Too. Need a Heat Shield for Exhaust side of Turbo. Keep the heat away from Turbo Oil Lines. Good Luck Guys. The insulation improves thermodynamics of the Turbo. :o) Love your helper Mr. Kevin Ahuhum :o)
Seeing your project makes me miss my F800 that had a custom crew extended cab and 4wd drive conversion that was done by Marmon Herrington.
The opening was worth a thumbs up by itself! This will be awesome. 👏👏👏👏🛠🦾👍
Like watching the build. Can't wait to see it running and blow some smoke.
Keep it coming! “Momma CEO” was right when she said the boys usually run when the office door opens. I saw you jump! Can’t wait to see more. Your allowing me to relive some very fond memories when my grandpa, dad and I built my first engine. I was 12 at the time 65 now. Thanks for letting me hang out in the shop with you and hi from Texas.
Gotta keep them on their toes… when “Momma CEO” is going to check in on them… hmmm they are always up to something wink 😉 🤦♀️ Thanks for watching!
Pops loved his f350 4*4 1 ton 460 gas jobs. I personally don’t think nothing compares to the ol 7.3”s.
I own both!! Both great engines. The 7.5 gasser dose suck the fuel tho. She’s a thirsty girl. My 7🌳 is my daily
This build has more than you can know of my attention. I had the quad cab F350, a 95 year model with all the bells and whistles. I sold it because of not being able to walk anymore. I had the five speed dually with aluminum flatbed... I used to drive logging trucks so go figure on how many lights were on it not to mention flaps an all. Mine only had barely two hundred thousand miles on my 7.3 so it ran really good. It got a new turbo at the hundred fifty thousand mark because of a seal that went out an cost me the turbo. I did some of the fuel line enlargements and other stuff but its been so dang long that my info is short for memory. I bought the truck new, kept it painted and rust proofed.... after all, I live in alaska. I will absolutely watch any type of video that has this kind of content. The pedals under the dash are a simple thing to swap out cause those stupid plastic bushings wear so darn bad. I don't like the bleed system on the hydraulic clutch as it can get hard to get air out down to the slave.
to help boost pipes stay on, My friend said use hair spray on then, they slide on and the hair spray sets up and keeps the hoses on tight
I can't express how much I love the videos, I will be putting an 01 7.3 1 ton on the road soon and I have learned so much from you!
Good
Kevin's "that's right" always makes me lol never a dull day with him. Makes for a fun day.
For sure
Listen carefully and the sons say that's right also when dad's jawing away. 😂
Clint has some great kids. Willing to take advice from dad. Let's be serious most teens won't spend time with their parents, and the boys are learning while spending time with dad. Blessed for sure.
Oh yeah!! They all say it 🤦♀️🤦♀️ not always my favorite answer… 😂😂 but they are all great kids - all 3 of them (tucker, hunter AND kevin) very proud of all 3 of them!!
Clint, I am amazed at how much you know and how skilled you are at such a relatively young age (young at least compared to my old wore out self). Your kids are so fortunate to have your expertise, experience, and good humor available; someday, they may choose to follow in your footsteps. You have much to be proud of. I love and enjoy your channel, sharing with us.
Thanks
And thanks for watching
I subscribed first because of the tractors and other equipment you showed us, and I really enjoyed those videos. Now, you show us truck engine builds ( like this one ) and now
my viewing enjoyment just doubled.
This channel is now my 'go to first' when I see new ones come up by RUclips.
Thanks Gentlemen!
Thanks
Probably from Grande Prairie, Alberta. Ritchie Bros. Auction by the sound of the auctioneer. We homesteaded in the area.😂😂😂
This Channel just keeps getting better ..... Keep up the Good Work Boys.
Cheers From Australia 🇦🇺🇺🇲
Again. I will say, You guys have way to much fun. I can't wait to see and hear the new shop truck run.
Great video. The engine build is sweet! Can't wait to see it run. Nice looking Canadian truck, it's too cold up north to use salt, so no rust.
Love this kind of content also! It’s fun to watch and learn more about the older 7.3’s and trucks! Can’t wait to see the out come
Great video! Love watching you guys rip engines apart & rebuild them! Take Care, Jim
Hey Clint!! The new shop truck is going to be a BEAST!!
I can't believe your putting the piece of art in a flatbed extended cab truck, you need to find a truck like Tuckers Bronco
Nice work guys! Uncle Scott probably had some shorty bolts at home!! 😂Thanks for sharing! Good work Kevin…
Lol
Love the variety! Always great videos, thanks Clint
We try
Love the Engine Build, can't wait to see it in the new/old Truck, keep the Video's coming.
Will do
Really enjoy the engine build. Crew cab - 4wd SuperDuty! I’m a bit surprised your son didn’t want that one. Please keep them coming
That motor should be on a C&C t-shirt. Before it's installed. Pretty Pretty nice. Nice job 👍
Clint and Kevin, I retired from John Deere Heavy Construction Equipment, as an Area Technical Service Advisor aka glorified Field Service Technician. I enjoy all of your content, keep up the good work.
Greetings from No VT - This engine rebuild is super impressive, keep them coming! BTW - there is a persistent rumor that someone we know might be able to do a repaint on that sweet Canadian truck to make it a beautiful blue! I know it isn't Cat Yellow or Deere Green, but I think Kevin can stretch to blue for once.
Fingers crossed!
But blue will show the runs much better than Cat Yellow or Olive Drab.
I love seeing these different video's! I love all of the video's that you put out Clint!! Thank you for all of them too!
The look on yours and Kevins face when you were talking about your wife and all of a sudden that door opened. lmao!! You two looked like two kids that got caught with your hands in the cookie jar lol. I love these kind of videos. Please keep’em coming. But go back and look at what I described lmao!! Thanks for sharing! This made my year.
Lol
I sure we did
😂😂😂 gotta keep the boys on their toes!! They are always into something when I walk out there! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
@@mrsclinton I really think they thought it was you 😂. I’m still 😂😂.
@@ProudPapaw88 they sure did😂😂… poor Special K flinched 🤦♀️🤦♀️ just shows how guilty these 2 are!!
Thanks Clint and Kevin, I frigging loved this video, can not wait for the next video.
All I can say is WOW, what a awesome build. Is gonna be the SSsswwweeettttest shop truck for sure.
Love it. I have a late 99 with 6spd and an early 97 5spd with 830k on the original eingine and trans. I would love to use that setup with a little something different. I want to p pump mine. But$$$$$$ is holding me back. Someday. But great video. Keep em coming
The running boards on your service truck yall are building will be the cats meow when it snows or your boots get slick from mud.
Love yalls videos keeps me busy
Look at all those purdy new parts going on the 7.3. Wowzers. 😃BTW...Kevin's Gnome truck is peeing all over your floor Clint.
lol
That turbo looks like a spare for your semi. Great video Clint
the new bed is missing some toolboxes and a big winch you can use to winch vehicles onto a attached trailer and a fuel transfer tank
the truck looks like it needs some bigger tires and rimms, give it a common size thats somewhat bigger and a 12 or 16 ply tire - reinforced sidewalls , give it a manual transmission 6 speed and a high/low shifter in addition to 2x4 high and 4x4 high and low for hauling, give it front and rear diff lock as well as perhaps a interaxle locker.
Fine looking engine. Beast of a turbo. Really enjoy this build
Wish I had that 7.3 500 HP and that Canadian pickup it's a sweet ride!
Yes love watching these types of videos how about showing you guys doing some racing i bet thats fun watching kevin race
Clinton that motor going to scream,Kevin will be burning thr tires off the new truck. Great videos and great job
Diesels do make vacuum except when turbo or super charged. God bless
can't wait to see you put that bad boy in the Canadian truck 👍👍👌
NICE WORK, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS.
Thanks
nice recovery with the stud fix. thanks for the vid
Enjoyed this video! Excellent information! You and Special K make a good team. Keep making and we will keep watching!
That is going to be a beast... good idea changing plans. Cant wait to see it running👍
That truck is gonna be awesome... can't wait to hear her make some noise
Yup a lot of stuff to do but it’s a great adventure and a good leaning strategy to go about a rebuild and what it takes to get to final product the awesome truck it will be 👍😎🇺🇸NY
Great video
C&C smoke wagon now that’s a good name for the new truck !!!
This was really cool! Definitely some more of these, love that swappin stuff!!
Beatiful piece of machinery. A piece of art. Amazing what the human mind can think up. 👍🇨🇦
That’s a nice looking motor and I would love to see everything you have to do in order to convert a gas truck to a diesel!
Plenty coming on that
Awsome looking motor.
Beautiful build
Thanks for the video love watching the rebuilt on all the equipment
Hey Clint just bring that truck to my house when you get it put together that's one bad ass looking truck gonna be twice as bad ass when your done with it
Looking forward to more of "The Kevin and Clint Comedy Show".... keep the video coming...cheers
That’s the perfect truck for that awesome motor. Keep the video’s coming Clint. DJ
Clinton and Kevin great build! You guys make it look easy! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks for watching
I can’t wait to here er! A real diesel
Engine looks awesome!! I wish I had the knowledge to take the engine out of my truck and rebuild it.
That is going to be a wicked truck. And yeah. It needs to go back to blue
looking forward to seeing that motor running
Rainman Ray uses them so I had to stop the Matco tool truck last week and get some, very nice.
Great idea
Saw lots of the F450 4X4 trucks in Iraq. The civilian contractors drove them. They all had diesels in them and a standard pickup bed on them, dual rear wheels. Please do more of these builds
Thank you for your service BRENt!!
I was wondering why you hadn't replaced the missing lift hook. But in today's video I noticed you did sneaked one on the motor. I was so very happy to see you didn't forget it. Good job to y'all. I really enjoy your video's. THANKS A LOT.!!!!!!!
Yep
Good eye
Hey man you might want to check it out but the obs and superdutys take different gaskets for the HPOP cover. 94.5-97 engines don’t get the screen in the gasket. Just something to think about.
Good evening, like all of your videos. Steve from N.B Canada
Thanks
Looking forward to the rest of this build! You guys have a great RUclips channel, keep the videos coming!
Thanks! Will do!
That's a clean truck coming from Canada, either they never drove in the winter or they washed a lot. We use more salt up here than you can shake a stick at. Like the videos, Keep smilin
looking forward to this series
GOOD STUFF, ENJOY WATCHING THIS HAPPENING.
Thanks
Clint, I like everything you do, keep it going.
definitely want to see more of that
CREW CAB 4 WD DUALLY ‼️ how can you not go wrong with that ❓ short bed too ‼️ super sweet ‼️ ok, rims and tires and or accessories to boot ❓ um uncle Scott's short pockets looked to be loaded down in the vidjua #CandCequipment , better take inventory of the fastener bin ‼️👍😂😂😂👍 can't wait to see this build finished 👍👍
Wow it looks Nice. Kip up the videos love ur builds of engines and working on equipment. Gretings from Long Way in denmark Europa..
Thanks
I’m going to love the older ones 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
I like the truck lots. I have never really liked the large wheel openings in the cab. I would have to change that but it's a matter of owner taste. That turbo makes the one in my stock international 4700 look tiny. Bigger is always better. Thanks for the training.
You and Kevin are always getting into something and the Mrs. Is gonna get you
you know she will
Not much gets past me 🤦♀️ they are always, always into something !🤦♀️😂🤦♀️
Great build guys. It sure says a lot when area diesel hits half mill and can find time to help out a little guy.👍
Sure would love to see more of these videos if you can do some Enron Accounting techniques to slip those parts invoices thru the channels that be. That truck fm Canada with no rust ought to treat you good with the quality of your upgrades. Should be a dependable vehicle. Nice job boys!!!👍
Having worked aerospace for many years, we did some testing on those clicking torque wrenches. When you multiple click like Kevin was doing, you end up over torqueing. Just a tid bit of knowledge that could be useful. I am sure there is a range on that particular bolted joint and bolt and was probably no biggie in this application.
So your saying for delicate work just get a digital one.
@@FishFind3000 Well the clickers are pretty accurate when you one click em. But yeah when it came to small fasteners a dial on critical joints was preferred. Definitely have more feel with a dial when it comes to running fasteners in locking inserts. But mass torqueing events on large fasteners were usually done with vibrating clickers with readouts.
Adding to the comments. Kept it up!
Looks like a work in progress and will turn out to be a street stopper.
Never heard how much the forestry bulldozer repair was and who guessed the closest.
We reveled that in a previous video
Love what I seen today.Keep them coming.
that going to be nice in that truck from up here nice converson to the truck. going to be a nice project.
Looks like she's going to be a beast!
The burn outs are the best 👍😂👍
Bring on more truck videos boys!
The Ford dealership here in Tennessee sold a lot of Crue cab 4x4 F250-f350's
Excellent video guys!
Thanks
Looking great
I will be sure to be there when it's started and running. Like the other truck for sale. Too bad I didn't have the money. Thanks, guys, for these great videos!!!! 👍
Thanks for watching
Paint the new shop truck the same as the semi!!
I like how you think
