OEM the only way to go, I know it's a little more, but they last much longer. Look at how long the original parts lasted.

I just googled the specs and most of the stuff is on old forms.

Ive got a 2000 7.3 with 470k miles. Im learning as much as a I can about it, with your expert knowledge where should I look for disassembly guides that arent a black and white haynes manual

i just pull them apart and then putting them together i just google the torques for everything.

That was my iPad I googled the head bolt torque and pulled up one of the web sights with a good diagram.
