    There's nothing mild about putting 50k into a vehicle

      Very true, but compared to $100K

    I am driving my bosses 7.3 power stroke because both of my Cummins are broke down.

      To be clear, we're giving you a thumbs up for the Powerstroke, not because your Cummins have broke down. That's a bummer.

      That's because there dodges

      @@billytessier2238 I'm a diesel mechanic and mostly work on large Cummins engines. I own a Dodge and my next truck will be a Ford because I'm so sick of Dodge's crappy quality! Mine breaks from literally sitting in my driveway.

    Added stage 1 turbo and stage 1 injectors to my 7.3 should I upgrade my e40d tranny now that I plan to heavy tow?

    • @EngineBuilder
      @EngineBuilder  Год назад +2

      We would definitely suggest you have someone look at your transmission and give you expert advice as to what you might need to upgrade there. This is something so many truck owners ignore until there are problems.

      6.0 trans cooler is the best thing you can do to it. Keeping it cool will save many problems from happening, especially when towing! Maybe do a John Woods valve body too. 👍🏼👌🏻🛠️🔧🔩✔️

      @alecon2249 4 месяца назад

      @@tdotw77 agreed, but one thing I did notice after doing that is it takes FOREVER to get the transmission up to temp if you're not towing anything.

    Im guessing richfarfugnuvenduech has never owned a 7.3 vehicle because at this point , clean versions of the 7.3 are clasic trucks now , like owning a souped up mustang , but why would someone wanna spend money to fix up a classic mustang ? Lol 😂

      The amount people spend to build racing engines is pretty insane compared to the daily driver. Just wait until you see their fuel economy

      You can’t think about it like that. When modified a 7.3 can make way more power than any modern engine

  • @corpsmind5920

    For 50k you get factory crank, factory block? Stay away from this shop.

    • @EngineBuilder
      @EngineBuilder  4 месяца назад

      In the diesel world, this is very common as the OEM parts, blocks and cranks in particular, are extremely well built and can handle quite a bit of horsepower.
